Lately the memories of my abuse have surfaced, pointing places that i should tend to heal. Today i woke up with my heart tense and small and in pain, and this practice was an absolute blessing that has given me peace. Thank you so much

Grateful for this channel. I experienced years of bullying/assualt/abuse from a family member. Though not sexual in nature, the effects are very similar, and I've stored up decades of trauma in my fascia and muscles, tendons and joints. I've learned a lot from this channel. Peace to any and all on their healing journey. If I can take "one cookie" from Hannah, it's that our body can metabolize all of that. I'm grateful for this and for all the influences who've helped me adapt and survive and find ways to thrive.

Thank you, I did most of your video from my computer chair and the blanket really, really helped. I never felt stupid or insecure. From a survivor, not just a victim, thank you.

As a survivor of sexual assault and yoga teacher I am deeply fascinated by your practice so similar to what I am teaching right now
What school will you suggest to become a trauma informed yoga teacher ?I am Italian but I ve studied in UC Berkeley so English is not an issue for me
    Thank you 🙏🏻

Thank you. Your channel is helping me remember who I was without the trauma. I started watching your videos and yoga-ing just 4 days ago. I cried the entire night after the first day. It was good to finally feel some emotional release from the terror that’s been locked inside of me. This is such an emotional journey. Just a few months ago I was wearing diapers, dependent on a walker and the use of a wheelchair, unable to safely chew and swallow food. Since I recently started talking about the abuse I went through as a child, I’m miraculously healing. I stored all of my trauma in my nervous system. My neck has been broken in 4 different areas and yet I breath and walk without assistance for the most part. I am getting stronger every single day. Thank you for being on this journey with me. I truly appreciate how trauma-informed you are. This feels safe to me. 🤎

I can so relate, starting to have glimpses of me before the terror surfaced in 2020 and got worse , it has eased a little , but I still get that overwhelming terror in my body, have you tried Somatic experiencing at all , or Transpirational Havening? I have started recently doing the Havening and it is helping , I really recommend it, if you are interested check out you tube channel Emotional Answers to Chronic Fatigue and look for video on transpirational having.

I did it in the morning and now I feel so relaxed and want to just sleep. Thank you for this. It is very relaxing and gives space to heal. Also, made me feel good and at peace while calming down my anxiety.

Hello , Sexual Abuse and Sexual Assault ( and multiple traumas of emotional and psychological nature , bullying in childhood teenage and for a some of my adult life and childhood traumas ) came up for me in the lockdown . I have since been on a journey of untangling the messy threads all interwoven and inter tangled
I appreciate this video and you so much for gifting this to us for free , I especially love you affirmations at the end ,
" You have the right to chose.
the right to take up space in you healing , in your feelings, in your story, with my voice, my needs ,
    my desires, my dreams,
all of you is free to chose ,
and all of you is welcome to take up space as you chose"
    Your feelings matter!!!!
You have the right to listen to your feelings to do what is right for you and to love yourself
To all survivors of trauma I am sending you love 💜💜💜

Thank you, Hannah. I love that you mention choice so often. I also like how there is no music. I find music during yoga distracting. ❤
