This, the crown, actually brings back a lot of good memories. I have had a good part of my childhood in these. My dad used to have a car accessories shop in Saudi Arabia back then. He owned a Cressida and Corona back then. Everytime I pass the cheraman masjid in my hometown, I see an abandoned Cressida there and I wish if I could ever get it and restore it. Great content you guys keep putting up. Lots of love ❤️
Personally I liked this episode the most after German Cars episode. 😀 And yes we need more "Old School Legends" episodes like this and please try to feature the old American legends too. 🙏

Grt video. Plz keep showing cars like this so people can know how good they are. When I was living in Cochin. I had a peugout 309, and 1990 Toyota Camry imported from Japan. My peugout had the best suspension for Indian roads. Used to love it a lot. I now drive a bmw 118d msport and Volvo v40 r design in England. It’s been more than 5 years but still I miss the Toyota and peugout . The hardest part was finding parts for it that time because we didn’t have forum or even a proper internet like now. Had to go Thrissur or Coimbatore to fix it. Some of the work shops in Ernakulam had me banned because the cars would take up space for months to sort out parts.I wish you guys could had started this RUclips channel 5 years earlier so I could have used jd’s knowledge.
When JD first shifted, I thought it was an automatic column shifter. The previous generation looked bit more newer, it had an additional rear quarter glass and a D pillar. It was first called Datsun 280 C.

Thanks for featuring this brilliant car! Back in 2000s my family were in Singapore and the Cedric and crown comfort were the main taxis back then. For me the Cedric was the car to be in even as a kid for a variety of reasons. First of which was the twin ac vents directly facing the front passenger and worked brilliantly, the second was the beautiful engine note when the car picks up speed (Singapore taxi varients were 5 speed manuals, I'm not sure if it were the same 6 cylinder powerplant as this car), the third and the most important reason was the beautiful speed chime the Cedric came with that activated at 100kmph which the crown comfort and the w211 e220s didn't come with Wierdly. As a kid that chime really did satisfy me!😅 Thanks for the nostalgia👍

Really appreciate your work guys, hope to see more and more classics 👍🏻.
