I just go with the default character and clothes in Saints Row: The Third (and some other games too). Why don't we name the default character from Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV, Troy Baker.

The Steelport guard Uniform Looks like An AT-AT Pilot From Star Wars The Empire Strikes back. At 12:55.
Looks better than the original I suppose but it would’ve been a cool detail if they kept both versions of the STAG and Steelport guard uniforms in the remaster
I like the style of the 21st century jeans in the original better, but besides that, everything's an improvement, especially the puffy coat being shiny in spots!

I like the new textures, but I hope a mod comes out to remove that SR3 logo on a lot of the things that didn't have it before. I love the punk jacket, but the logo on the back is annoying as hell.

The color palette in Saints Row 3 Remastered is off. They should fix all the bugs or they should have delayed that game's release to make sure things are right. Other than that the game looks nice.
Now I fear the hues of purple will look eh, especially the lavender. It's my favorite hue in the game!

You can’t. You could try to find some mods for the original game unless the remastered allows mods as easily.
