First time sewing a zipper, much less a hidden zipper! Your tutorial was so simple to follow. I don’t have a zipper foot and my zippers left about 3” at each end but I adjusted per your instructions and my pillows came out great. Thank you! ❤🎉
Amy, this is the best tutorial I've seen on this topic. Your teaching is very thorough and clear. Now, I truly feel I can make this type of pillow backing. Thank you for not rushing and providing detail.
Oh thank the good Lord above! A tutorial that is finally clear and precise at showing every step from beginning to end and leaving you with no questions. Thank you to the 12th power.
I have watched lots of tutorials for making this kind of pillow cover and by far this is the one I have liked the best, not only for the easy instructions but because it has the best finishes. Thanks a lot!
Thank you for the great tutorial! It's been awhile since I put a zipper in a pillow cover. Mine came out very professional. I loved that I could pause and pick it up when needed.
This is great but I will say that wonder clips are much easier for me when doing multiple laters than pins so maybe that will help someone else who watches this. Thanks for the tutorial!
Awesome tutorial!! Please tell me where I can purchase the Be Kind wallhanging in the background. Thank you❤️ I found it…yay! And I am ordering it! Darling pattern❤️❤️
I was so excited to see this. However I’m not doing a square pillow, I can’t really follow very well as mine is rectangular and “front” measurement is 2 different measurements and not the same so it’s too vague for me. It’s still a great video though!
If your top measurement is 20 and a half inches and you cut the bottom pieces 10 and a quarter, then how does this match up because the zipper seam reduces the measurement by a half inch, or am I missing something?
Bringing down the top part of the pillow closure is not going to lie flat over that zipper like the extra strip does. Going to distort and not be as attractive. That extra fold strip so much easier. You can sew a sample and see what you think . You will also have to adjust the top fabric to accommodate the fold. That strip from another pattern of fabric is also a lovely touch . I have seen an exposed zipper inserted between the top and bottom fabric eliminating any fold of fabric. Very simple and easy . Just use a zipper color of your choice because it is out there to be seen .
Sorry, don't know how to instagram. Can I get your info for PILLOW please? Do you mean you bind the pillow just like a quilt. So is there a type of flange on the end? Thank you. Trying to make a pillow today.
Thank you Riley Blake for sharing Ame with us. She is a great instructor.

Where did you find this pattern?
Excellent!
Thank you! Do you need to add a half inch to each back piece to allow for seam allowances for the zipper installation?
Could you baste the flap and backing with 1/8 stitch to help hold together?
Loved g th his tutorial I signed up for your new letter
Do you use a craft #3 zipper or a handbag #3 zipper? Or zipper by the yard.
Great tutorial but what I REALLY want is the pattern for the mushroom pillow!
Does that dimension take into account seams?

I have a zipper that is 2” shorter than my pillow, wondering if I could use it as is and not add zipper ends?

How does your machine know to go over the teeth in zipper?
Why not just add the second top fabric folded over so it matches instead of sewing all those layers
