I have watched several videos to make a pillow cover with a zipper and yours is the best and easiest. My home ec teacher (1963-1967) would be amazed. I don't remember zippers were this easy back then. We only made clothing, but crafting is much more fun and not nearly as stressful.

Love your tutorial and your calm voice explaining in detail (which made it so easy) the zipper part. This was my first time sewing a zipper. Thank you 🙏 I wish I could show you my end result of a cushion cover I made. I love it! I also learnt that I could stitch on the outer and inner side of the zipper foot (for my next project ).

I agree that this is the best tutorial on putting a zipper into a pillowcase. It explains in more detail what each step should be. I've been searching for such a video because I'm making my own pillows due to the fact the store bought ones are all either too soft or too firm for me. Also, this method seems to make an invisible zipper for your pillows which is a wonderful "plus 👍." TYSM for sharing this video with us.

I am making a dog bed with a washable cover using this video (I was going to throw away my son's old egg-crate mattress topper but our dog claimed it). Omg! Your explanations in this tutorial are on spot! No one ever told me that the needle had to remain down while ONLY the presser foot raised when you turned your work. My stitches have been off and slipping and it's been a nightmare. Thank you Soo much for your simple effective method! Also, you was totally awesome when you jus folded that pillow b4 putting it in. I woulda been struggling. Lol. God bless you! Going to be using 2 (Frozen themed), fat quarters to make my daughter a lil pillow an wanted to know how to put the zipper in.
