Guess just the DSG transmission has launch control. If your A3 like mine is tiptronic you cannot hold that amount of revs otherwise the car will start moving. However, it is still possible to brake boost a bit

There is no tiptronic A3, only S-tronic and it`s DSG

U cannot launch a 1.4tsi it has the dry clutch dsg not launch control compatible
