    Hi! I have put the interface in the car but it did not get the sound to work. Neither connecting only to the mmi via Bluetooth, nor connecting only to the carplay via Bluetooth, nor to both at the same time... any solution?

      Hello, you need to plug the AMI cable that came with the unit into the port in the armrest, it does not need to be plugged into anything else. You need to switch the selection to AUX for sound.     Its really helpful, appreciate your effort in making this video, I have A3 etron 2018, 4 months warranty left, if I install this will my warranty be gone? should I wait for the warranty to expire?

      Hello, thank you for the comment, Unavi system will NOT void your vehicle’s factory warranty. Accessories added to your car cannot void the warranty (refer to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act). However, if the install causes a malfunction in that circuit, then they can force you to cover the cost of repair. We always advise our customers to contact us regarding any issues prior to taking the vehicle back to the dealership to determine what is at fault in the case of a malfunction.     I installed this but my rear camera doesn't auto switch from carplay mode when I shift to Reverse. I have to manually switch back to original car mode by Nav/Media button to see the rear camera. Is there a setting I need to adjust?

    Hi, I did this and it was successful, but now all the lights inside the car isn't working (front and rear dome lights, glove box light, door lights) do u have any idea what happened? I have checked the fuse but they are all good

      I had the same thing happen with mine, you have to change the fuse from 5amp to 10amp. It will tell you which is the correct spot in the owners manual.

    I have a 2016 S3 with Bang & Olufsen. Doesnt work for me because there is not spot to plug the optical fiber cable.

      Fiber optic cable is sometimes located on a different spot. We go off by MMI version software that these cars come with. I'm 100% sure we have something that is compatible with your car.

      Yes, you can go full screen, you would just select the app you want to view.

      Hello, the harness has the RCA connection and 12 volt reverse detection cable for aftermarket rear cam add on, or if it's OEM it's handled with the harness. Thanks for your comment, have a great day!!

    Why is there no system that works with standard audio without the aux stuff? And I guess it's not great having to navigate without touch screen when you want to search for a location...

      Hello, adding CarPlay to older vehicles we will have constraints when it only has one AUX source. We have to work with what Audi has provided. We find the easiest way is to use Siri or Google assistant to look up address info. We wish Audi would have added touchscreen to these top tier vehicles, however they did not, so we have to work with what they have provided. Thank you for the comment!
