Hi. I’ve got CarPlay installed in my a3 but no sound. I didn’t have a usb cable to attach to my CarPlay box. If I used the mmi usb cable in the arm rest and connected to audio through aux, would that solve my sound issue?
hello i have seen some reviews saying this made there lights stop working or there mmi screen to fully stop working is this the same with this product also if there is any issues whats the refund policy like
i installed mine and when i want to play music using carplay there is no sound, and i can see MMI bluetooth is showing the song but again no sound? also my mmi screen flickers/goes blank, but carplay works 100% without flickering... how do i fix these issues? thanks

Yes! you would be able to also play sound through standard bluetooth

Hi, yes you can use the aux in the arm rest, but please do check you mmi sound settings and check whether its set on Bluetooth or aux

Is there anyway to make the CarPlay the prioritized system so when you turn the car on it pops up instead of the mmi system
I don't think any system does it automatically
Mine does but when i exit CarPlay i cant get in again without restarting the car
