The soundtrack gives my brain an unusual feeling, its like a smell in the air and my atmosphere changes to 10+ years ago, brings a smile on my face but tears to my eyes, everything was so chill back then, remember my orange metallic ford mustang.

I like how the music switched with what type of car it was
It took me about 4 months to get every bonus car and I was playing every day for two hours, it's probably the hardest nfs game to get absolutely 100% completion
Most wanted was easier to get 100% in carbon its nearly impossible to get all reward cards unless to do major compromises on the cars you purchase in career mode if you want to get the fill your garage with one car type reward cards
@@rickyrosay33977Carbon is the hardest in ANY game of the entire NFS franchise. I end up needed 25 weeks before finally got 100 percented it.

I love that man! I first found out about the first generation Gallardo when I played nfs mw with my brothers, used to stay up all night in freeroam just driving the Gallardo. I just 19 a couple of weeks ago, my goal is to have one by the time im 25, luckily for me it's one of, if not the cheapest Lamborghini on the market right now haha. I really hope you enjoy the Golf R32 to the fullest man, what an experience it must be to actually have your dream car!!

But instead undercover is ported.

This game was always so interesting, only now did I notice that the menu music would change depending on the type of car. The Dynamic music was really cool.

I played this game on the Wii and pretty early in my childhood so I don’t remember it too well but I happened to think about it today and I decided to look up this video. Turns out the gen 1 mazdaspeed3 is in the game, and it’s one of the lower end cars so I probably played with it a lot. This is important to me because it was my first car around 2 years ago. And it was the same bright red color as in the game. And the entire time I owned it, I didn’t realize that I had likely already driven it as a kid on need for speed.
i miss this game so much i play this on my pc me and my dad it gives us so much fun so when this game was deleted me and my father had loss much time together uhh a sad life so i try ro resurrect this game for our fun and hapiness bonding together

Carbon was such a good game, it had such an atmosphere that i could only sum up as ‘dark fantasy’ but with street racing, no other Need for Speed captures the tone of Carbon the same to me

Agree. 2023, one month after Nijigasaki NEXT SKY OVA still never gets old.
Notice how there are 3 background musics (one for Muscle cars, one for Tunning cars and one for Exotics) and how whenever he showcases a different car (and if it is a different category) the music changes... yeah Carbon was the greatest even with these tiny details

I completed the game in no less than 2 weeks, takes skill pure skill my friends
I did it in 1 day
in 1 day, 100% only with stock camaro, and a dodge viper srt
Clearly takes pure skill i finished it last week and i nearly got game over twice the police here is way more difficult than the one in most wanted (unlike there you are chased by a shit ton of cop cars but there is no choppers ) and is way to easy to get busted and darius is one of the hardest bosses in the whole franchise if not the hardest
i beat it 2 times in 4 days

I had a lot of trouble playing the older franchise titles on my widescreen monitor (for some reason in the store it was cheaper) and at the time the video card drives did not support the black screen corners. Think about it for some perfectionist like me...

perdon perdon you earn them by getting all the reward cards and you get a reward like the m3 gtr you had to unlock all cars and something else but I finished but I didn’t get it until I started doing the challenge series and then out of nowhere I unlocked the m3 gtr after a long time I passed the game 100%

@@giancarlolugo9586 The Toyota MR2 is used in one challenge series event, but otherwise no. Normally it is unlocked with an online reward card, but the online servers are long gone, and I don't think the PS2 version ever had online anyway.

Nissan 240SX, Jaguar XK (beat Collector Edition exclusive Challenge Series events)
Dodge Challenger R/T, Infiniti G35, Porsche 911 Turbo (DLCs; shown at end of video)
All other tier 1 cars are available from the start.
All other tier 2 and 3 cars are unlocked through career mode.
Custom cars:
All Palmont vehicles, Chevrolet Chevelle SS, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Lamborghini Murciélago LP640, BMW M3 GTR (complete Reward Cards)
Audi Le Mans Quattro (beat Career mode)
Kenji's Mazda RX-7, Angie's Dodge Charger R/T, Wolf's Aston Martin DB9 (choose the pink slip marker when defeating bosses in Career mode)
Chevrolet Camaro Concept, Koenigsegg CCX (Collector Edition exclusives)

I remember that when I was a kid, I only played a few seconds because there was a dinosaur in the first race and that scared me.
I had also NFS online and since it had the same circuit, I threw it in the trash.
I feel so bad now and nostalgia is hitting me hard... 😣😰😱
I also had NFSU and U2.
I never past the first circuit in NFSU because I thought that was the map like in U2.
I spent 99% of my time in U2 running in the city with my Pontiac GTO/ Cadillac Escalade /. Nissan 350 z.
Those were my favourite cars at the time.
