ehh either normal or drift tyres bcz they give u better handling when turning or avoiding the near crash, grip tires are like bruh' imagine making sharp turn with hand brake and then u need to boost with nitro and ur car just flips over

I remember acceleration being absolutely broken on this game. Can't remember what I was using, might have been the Murciélago, but whenever I was against a corvette it was just impossible to keep up with. The handling on the Evo made it really good for the canyon duels.
Vette and Viper are the most broken cars in the game, esp. In canyon runs, and the entire muscle category as a whole.
Exotics are quite underwhelming as their top speeds don't mean much when you just get accelerated from the starting line. Especially if you're using the lambo

@@Distant_club_99 Экзотики - вообще, как по мне, самый странный класс в игре. Большинство и не едут толком, и не управляются за редким исключением. Та же Бэха конечно хорошо рулится, но по сути она на уровне тюннеров 2 класса

I remember my lineup was the Mazda rx-8 i used it until i won the car from kenji, i used kenjis rx-7 until like 60-70% game completion maybe earlier at like 50%. I remember the cars starting getting way faster, i remember having alot of trouble with the npc lancers because of the high acceleration and good handling, i basically played really dirty in races until i got the lancer myself.
I used the lancer up until the final race with darius, i could beat the previous bosses in the lancer but not darius ln the mountain. I remembered how fast the corvette was with the npcs (npcs don't have fully upgraded cars and their ai always slows down more than it should on turns). I sold all my old cars and I bought a corvette. they were NOT ready for that hot pink fully upgraded maximum grip corvette
Mazda RX8, with engine upgrade is very well, have an excellent handling
On manual, you can definitely get better times. But i've tested every car on auto so it kinda sucked.
@@spektrum5362 yes! Rx8 have an excellent power at high revs, but you only can get it in manual transmission. In test drive before start career, the RX8 well drived is better than Brera for lap times, but still slower than Camaro 😂. Also, great video!

The Brera being a good starting choice is only to unlock the Carrera GT first. Camaro starting route unlocks the 67 GT500 a bit earlier.
Corvette does not have the highest top speed, but it is the car that picks up speed the most quickly
Also because its handling is atypically high for muscle car standards.
The Viper accelerated harder than anything else in the game by a noticeable amount but it's usually slower around corners than the Vette. I remember some tracks the Vette being the fastest and some tracks the Viper being the fastest but it was legitimately just those two. No other car could really keep up with them.
@@matrinezkevin11492 Nah, 911 Turbo, Carrera GT, Audi Le Mans, and CCX can keep up. The Camaro handles better than any other muscle as well

Best starter car is the RX8 simply for the fact that you get Kenji's RX7 which is imo the best Tier 2 car other than maybe the Elise and you unlock Yumi who is the second best crew member after Nikki.

My G35 on this track fully modded without using nitrous just like you did for a best time of 48.62. You really have to adjust your engine, transmission, and boost settings because just upgrading them to the max is not the best for some cars. On the G35 I put horsepower all the way up on engine, on the transmission I put alloy racing axles to top speed, and the short throw shift kit to acceleration. This combination makes a jaw dropping improvement on the G35 and skyline but makes the 350z and Evo a bit of a slouch when adjusted that way. When racing online I would get trolled for picking the G35 but would whip 9 out of ten racers on Dover Street with it without the use of speedbreakers! 😲😎
if you include the M3 GTR and the Audi, those two cars would probs be the fastest. accelerate just as good as the corvette and handle much better
Bmw is slower but gripier and the R8 is just good on corners like bmw
The vette smokes them on straights 24/7 thats why its nr1 in this game 😅 i mean i love them both as well but the C6 is clearly broken when tuned right
@@Dragonrah yeah but if you are on the canyon then its another story i like the corvette and viper but especially the viper will punish you for taking it to the canyon i would say corvette i loved that car so much mainly for the handling because its the only good handling muscle car its either nr 2, m3 nr 3 or the other way around and le mans best car overall i mean its the only car that smokes anything except viper and corvette in the straight line

@@Dragonrah im with you on this one if the le mans doesnt count, because even tho its quick in vanilla game in nfs carbon the rework mod, theres a challenge series where you have to race in a canyon race with cross corvete (it has his livery) against a m3 gtr with mw engine values and it weighs like 1100 kg in carbon while in mw its 1300 so very op and cross corvette still manages to keep up with it so that its very impressive nonetheless corvette and viper are the only cars that can do 0-300 with nitrous in 5 seconds while the audi does it in 6 seconds i think so yeah corvette is a good choice if youre playing the vanilla game
All i remember is the viper being so fast when fully upgraded it didn't even matter if you crashed. Just reset, put it in third and go 0-200 in like 3 seconds 🤣. Then against the final boss you just fly passed that r8 and win by being ahead for 10 seocnds, what i always do 🤣

I never figured what exotic is supposed to be used for all the tuners control way tighter and the muscle have better straight line speed. Muscle should have gotten a nitro boost instead.
Exotics are a mix in this game, but their max speeds are second to none
If you put performance tuning settings on then cars become even faster.

The 240sx when upgarded is one of the best cars in the game,I used one for all three bosses and even some of the earlier races in Fortuna.
It absolutely dominated the three bosses and only started to struggle in the Fortuna races
Definitely a recommendation for anyone starting a new playthrough.
I 100 percent agree with you about the corvette being the best car in career mod, yeah it does oversteer and understeer, and Evo 9 is the best handling car, it however is not as good at accelerating as the corvette. With practice you can get better i always the pick the corvette and destroy carbon with it, what a hell of a car, Love it so much

@@minaco2772 Ignore the dude, he has an unhealthy obsession with dissing the car because he can't understand it's the AI rubberband COMBINED with the car's acceleration that makes it so annoying to drive against in career mode.
Even then, I could grab a properly tuned supra and beat a vette AI. Driving skills is all it takes vs AI, it's annoying but doable. Against a human, though? lmao glhf

Yeah, title is kinda misleading. But i was trying to compare every upgradeablr car in the game and most people took it that way so yeah. Also, you are absolutely correct. If i was including special cars, than Audi would've been the absolute king of the laptimes.

I beat the entire game with the Dodge Charger RT with the wide body kit and matte white. It was very hard to control but the acceleration with top tier nos made that thing unbeatable. But you didn’t do the Audi. Where’s it rank bc it was very fast too

There are some challenges to do that unlock some cars, I think is the Challenge Series on the main menu you have Bronze, Silver and Gold challenges and the prize in some of those challenges are cars

Yeah, playstyle or how many turns there are on the track are a key factor. Most of the time you need to play the same car atleast 3 times to get a good result for measurement

In my opinion, the best tier 1 car for me is the 240sx over the camaro. Because it has a better acceleration and better handling at all that can beat a tier 3 muscle cars and exotic cars in tight corners. In salazar street, of course the camaro can wins this course than the 240sx because this track has a lot straight of roads and easy corner, which is a bigger advantage of those cars that has a higher acceleration and top speed.

Hello. So, I decided to compare my result with yours, and this is what I found out. Of course, I did this discipline on another track, number 1 in "quick race".
I compared Charger SRT-8 against Jaguar ХК and realized that the Charger is faster. Therefore... your results may not be valid for all players and on every track in the game. Thank you.
After beating the game about 10-12 times in childhood first with camaro and next with the gallardo, I've got to know that the Corvette was the best but I didn't tried that car for a single time lol💀
Actually after nfsmw, we got ming's fully tuned gallardo & the game is almost done there, I used to think that gallardo is the best car in nfs franchise & never tried other cars💀 woooow
I have done something similar, just used a different track that's in fortuna for this one. I found out that with a finely tuned lancer you can beat a non-tuned exotic like the Audi/Lambo and the corvette

Thats why i ALWAYS use a corvette, i always see them pass me so easily and i said "YOU KNOW WHAT, IM GOING FULL CROSS CORVETTE ON THIS" and made a cross corvette (with the design too, and a second one with the need for speed mos wanted design) and just beat the shit out of every single racer

Its good to have a nice handling car but if you ever pick the full upgraded C6 and try your best with it it really shows how much tuners sink because of their slow acceleration 😅 i mean yes you can corner alot better with a R34 or a Lancer but still the vette smokes all on straights or out of corners

Ah, so it really isn't that far off to say the G35 should have been a Tier 2 to begin with instead of, like, the single worst T3 in the game.
Though I also realize how amazing the 911 Turbo is in this game's context. Even though it's a DLC car, it's the single least expensive T3 Exotic (only 75K which is already less than some T2s, even) and yet still ends up being very quick. Not Corvette or Carrera GT levels (since there's that time gap) but still very potent.
Plus the 911 becomes a different beast entirely when you fine-tune it. It gets great handling and is arguably the best canyon car in career mode.
