You know how Odin looks toward Fenrir and has that moment when he thinks back to how far he has come and that scent of regret reminds him that maybe he came to this point by something he said or did wrong, and on seeing the literal smoke bellow from Fenrir’s nostrils, Odin smiles a little... that sense of to the wall with it. To the wall, to the gate, to the grave with it! That fire that even Fenrir the Damn Demon Dog who is filled with Betrayal and burning with envy sees that smile, and even with all the strength ever created can only create this moment... that’s the kind of the emotion you want to sing when singing Shelter.
Just sayin.
