Thanks for your feedback, Ale J! I always appreciate having an idea of what type of stateroom I'm going on, so I like making the stateroom tour episodes to help out other cruisers! We enjoy the Celebrity ships!
Not sure she mentioned that included in Aqua Class you get Blu specialty restaurant for your cruise and unlimited visits to the thermo spa. Also 2 waters per day to your stateroom i believe and a yoga mat and robes and slippers and some room service. I only mentioned it because my wife and I are in Aqua Class on Celebrity Equinox in mid October.😊
Thanks for your message, Bob! Yes, we advise all of our customers that AquaClass is very much a "service" category stateroom. While the stateroom is the same size as a regular veranda stateroom, it will include an upgraded shower with nice bath products, and there are usually items in the room with a spa & wellness focus: robe/slippers to use; yoga mats (although I've been in a few where those were missing); cans of water have typically been refreshed daily. The unlimited use of the thermal spa areas (and often a discount on paid spa services) plus our favorite, exclusive AquaClass access to the restaurant, Blu - open for breakfast and dinner. We've enjoyed terrific service there, along with a menu we enjoy, in a smaller venue than a typical large main dining area. From time to time, Celebrity Cruises changes or tweaks their service offerings. One important example is that currently all AquaClass guests receive the ALL INCLUDED amenities of pre-paid tips, surf wifi and classic beverage package. So what's available at the time we record a video may change later . . .always check on details for your specific cruise to be sure!
Always best to check with your stateroom attendant about current protocol. I remember seeing complimentary waters in our stateroom on multiple cruises in AquaClass, although some recent cruises we were in different category rooms . . and we usually pick up as much bottled water as we want at bars around the ship with our beverage package . . .
Hi and thanks for watching the video! The overall veranda staterooms are the same size/shape for 'regular', 'concierge,' and 'aqua class.' Locations on the ship can be specific to Concierge and Aqua Class rooms - it's worth checking the deck plans! Other differences, as you mention, include the shower head and wall of body jets in the shower. Also yoga mats for your use are in the closet, there's an opportunity on many cruises to order stretching/yoga/exercise equipment to use in your room or take with you to the fitness area. The other differences are service differences: Access to Blu, the Aqua Class restaurant; unlimited access to the Persian Garden area of the Spa; afternoon treats in the room and water delivered daily. That works well for some cruisers, other guests are very happy with a regular veranda cabin!
@@NextWaveCruising Lets talk about what was eventually eliminated from Aqua Class...Personalized stationary with your name on it...Fresh Flowers every day...Fresh fruit went from grapes Cherries, Pears and Bananas to 3 green apples. A Canvass sturdy tote bag eliminated, now just a flimsy white cheap bag. Also the Tapas went from Shrimp, tiny egg rolls, beef skewers to tasteless tapas. Designer small bottles of shampoo and soaps to huge generic pump bottles...Many items have been cut in Aqua Class except the price which is climbing. The only thing that is somewhat worthwhile is BLU, BUT even that is a stretch BECAUSE, I money I save from not cruising in Aqua and just a veranda cabin, I can dine in a specialty restaurant every night and it still would be cheaper.
@@butalina We just try to help cruisers understand what IS offered for the price. Thanks for adding the additional perspective. Aqua Class and the services offered today work for some cruisers, other guests are very happy with a regular veranda stateroom! Wishing you happy cruising!
@@NextWaveCruising I think if you really want to help cruisers out...Many do not realize that if they cruise in a regular Veranda they can dine in a Specialty restaurant every night and it would still be cheaper. I think at least you can mention that then they can make up their own minds..at least you would have told them another option.
In general, AquaClass is more of a service category and it's not for everyone. If a guest likes to eat in Blu, an exclusive restaurant for AquaClass guests - which feels more like a specialty restaurant - and if a guest likes the wellness/spa-related amenities or the location of the AquaClass staterooms, that offers people some options. AquaClass is also now priced with the All Included amenities of Classic Beverage package, Surf (basic) WiFi and pre-paid tips. If the services and amenities aren't worth the price, the regular Veranda staterooms are a great alternative!
Hi Terry!
Excellent stateroom tour 👍🏻
Thank you!

ok, i was told that due to Aquaclass you receive 2 bottles of water each day with that booking class? untrue??

It is the same exact stateroom as a regular Veranda except for the showerhead.
