I was so into Asian horror when I was a teen and Shutter scared the shit out of me, I swear. It was my go-to recommendation for a long time, but it wasn't easy to find. And you made me so excited for His House! Next movie I'm watching for sure!
I'm watching Shutter tonight. That's the same feeling I had when I watched the original Grudge movie (Ju-On: The Grudge). Just the thought of looking up at the ceiling only to see a floating dead woman this close from you doing the unnerving noise 😬. The movie was great tho
@Rebeccas sweet music That movie (ju-on) had one of the scariest scenes ever. That scene where a lump forms at the foot of that woman’s bed under the covers and it slowly moves upwards on top of her and when she looks underneath the blanket the ghost girl is right on top of her. IMO it’s one of the scariest scenes of all time lol
@@scottwilson2274 OMG THAT SCENE SCARED ME TOO BUT I LOVED IT!!! I almost was going to check under my sheets as soon as I got into bed last night after watching it 🤣🤣🤣 but didn't because I was way too tired and lazy, lol.

As a diehard horror fan who's goal in life (one of them, anyways) is to watch every horror movie in existence, this is right up my alley!! Oh, and have you ever seen The Dead Room? It's out of New Zealand, I watched it for three first time while tripping on acid lol but then also a few more times sober-- possibly my favorite haunted house movie, alongside the Conjuring...I grew up in like seven different houses, and they were ALL haunted asf...I actually miss that. I'll take paranormal horror irl over stupid human drama any day
I just happened to see one of your videos by accident. Being a songwriter, musician, vocalist and body builder I mostly look for those types of things to watch. But sometimes I do like to watch different kinds of movies with horror movies being one of them. So I guess youtube takes the different things you watch and adds things that are of the same idea. So I started getting things like reaction videos and videos like yours. As a matter of fact one of your videos just showed up on my page yesterday, so I watched it. I have to admit that I enjoyed watching it. I like how you just tell it how it is on how you feel about different horror movies that you don't like to watch. You do a great job. Thanks.
While I wasn’t expecting it to be on here, when the video started, I was secretly hoping ’Hell Fest’ would be on here; especially when I heard that there was going to be a cheesy category. Lo and behold. I watched it last weekend, and quite enjoyed it. Loved the setting and atmosphere. Nice cameo by a horror icon, too. Can’t deny its cheesiness, but it wasn’t too much of a hindrance.
Before I had a tv i would watch movies on my laptop and I watched unfriended and it was hella more scary actually watching it on a laptop cuz it makes it feel real
I think The Ritual is a good movie, but it just feels like a male-inverted version of The Descent, which tapped into the emotions of its characters way better than The Ritual did, plus you see way too much monster at the end. As for your recommendations, Hold the Dark is the one that grabbed my attention the most...especially after seeing Wolf of Snowy Hollow, seeing another wolf film in snow sounds like a great time. Thank you!
From a haunted house worker, loved Hell Fest but end scene was so unrealistic. During an emergency all lights and animatronics are turned off. They would be stuck in a fully lit haunted house not a fully functional one. But if you’re immersing yourself I get that’s scarier than the reality
“The Endless” although it’s not directly part of another movie, Resolution, has elements of each other meaning characters cross. Check it out. Same filmmakers.
Hello and happy late birthday!! Any chance you can review a movie called the Mandela effect? I dont think anyone has reviewed the movie literally and it was actually good!! Please consider!!
It's Halloween today, and me and my family didn't know what to watch, so I looked at all the movies on this list (that still are on Netflix today), as well as a few other ones. I only looked at the names on the list, because I didn't have time to watch the video. We ended up picking Cadaver because the plot sounded kind of interesting from what it said in the Netflix description. We were all surprised when we heard that it was in Norwegian, because we are Norwegian! It's cool that you recomended non-english movies as well :)
I love "I'm the pretty thing that lives in the house". The narration of Ruth Wilson is just perfect, it's horror and it's a really sad movie, or at least I find it that way. The script is just beautiful. This movie is art.
I'm so glad The Ritual was included on this list omgggg I love that movie. Also, The Exorcist and the Ring are on Netflix right now too, if anyone wants to watch them haha
The Endless is actually a SEQUEL to 2012’s “Resolution” Which is why the second half of The Endless feels like it’s connecting things to another movie.
Couldn't agree with you more regarding The Ritual. The creature is one of the most unique and deadly creations since Alien. Thoroughly enjoy your reviews.

So man good movies on this list! The Invitation is probably my favorite of all of these movies. Such a beautifully done movie.
This was an absolutely incredible video!!!! I am a horror nut and a movie lover in general and even I havnt watched a few of these!!
Watch The Call, Korean horror on Netflix
Not sure if you've watched it already but 'Aterrados' creeped the hell out of me. Definitely a good one to check out
I loved that movie
I watched Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight this morning and I really liked it! It was a good amount of cheese for me. Apostle is so sick though I absolutely LOVE that movie!
Pans Labyrinth is an all time favorite that I literally can not reccomend enough. I could watch it over and over!
Its so great to see more people loved Apostle, and I'll have to check out Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight!
Ysd I discovered this channel and I'm enjoying it so much! Thanks for the effort in putting together this list!! :,)
The Ritual and Apostle are 👌👌👌 good picks!!
Suuuch great films!! I’ve seen both multiple times 👏🏻
love the list! also i just noticed how long your hair is, it looks healthy!
Aaah, I’m so happy you included Pan’s Labyrinth! As someone that needed to tiptoe into horror, this movie was one of the first horror adjacent films I fell in love with.
17:41 lol that was cute, you're adorable. And His House was was amazing, frfr
Keep it up! Just subscribed to your channel, love this type of content!
I'll take paranormal horror irl over stupid human drama any day
I used to watch a lot of gore when I was in college but 5 years later and I just don't have the stomach for it anymore.🤧
I’m the same! Human centipede was my go-to date film for years but now it makes me retch 🤢
@@helloimkalii ya mine was hostel part 1 and 2 and the saw series. But now I can't even imagine watching those.🤮
I just happened to see one of your videos by accident. Thanks.
I feel your my horror movie soulmate lol! Apostol and Ritual I feel the same, and also His House
Folks, check out “The Taking of Deborah Logan” and “The Houses October Built.” Both are a mind f*ck!
I highly recommend you check out the 2 part Dead meat podcast on His House. I actually learned a lot about this history of South Sudan
Seen most on your list, Elizabeth Harvest sounds really interesting, will be watching that next. Thanks!!
Thank you so much for this bc it’s so hard to find the real gems on netflix
Love your channel!! I was surprised that "Your next" wasn't on this list.
Thank you, i usually just limit Netflix to shows!
Loved this video 🤍
Troll 2?
I think The Ritual is a good movie, but it just feels like a male-inverted version of The Descent, which tapped into the emotions of its characters way better than The Ritual did, plus you see way too much monster at the end. As for your recommendations, Hold the Dark is the one that grabbed my attention the most...especially after seeing Wolf of Snowy Hollow, seeing another wolf film in snow sounds like a great time. Thank you!
I just watched Hold the Dark...wow. that's a solid one. After 2 hrs at the end I was like, what? That's it? Give me more!?
From a haunted house worker, loved Hell Fest but end scene was so unrealistic. During an emergency all lights and animatronics are turned off. They would be stuck in a fully lit haunted house not a fully functional one. But if you’re immersing yourself I get that’s scarier than the reality
The perfection is amazing in my opinion
So underrated I feel like!
Midsommar and Hereditary are good Horrors. I saw recently also “Color Out Of Space” with Nick Cage
this is EXACTLY what I needed omg... I only have netflix and idk if there's actually good horror movies on it
nice breakdown thanks! I'm watching Fractured right now! His house next!
I loved The Guest. It was like a lifetime movie turned killing spree. Very entertaining!!! And cool music.
Yes!! So fun.
Dan Steven's is fine in it lol
@@brayzeisloft5556 so fine 😍

This movie is art.
i dont watch many horror movies bc they scare me too much sometimes but i cannot stop watching ur videos. UR JUST SO FUN
I'm so glad The Ritual was included on this list omgggg I love that movie. Also, The Exorcist and the Ring are on Netflix right now too, if anyone wants to watch them haha
Thanks!
i always enjoy your videos. wondering if you have ever seen The Axiom. I've never heard you mention it. I think you would like it.
The Endless is actually a SEQUEL to 2012’s “Resolution”
Which is why the second half of The Endless feels like it’s connecting things to another movie.
Yes! And if I can remember it right, they also directed Spring, which is another interesting "horror" movie.
i really enjoyed his house, and i genuinely didn't see the twist coming. i love seeing someone else talk about it!
Couldn't agree with you more regarding The Ritual. The creature is one of the most unique and deadly creations since Alien. Thoroughly enjoy your reviews.
Spoilers
I swear I heard autotune while you were discussing “The Blackcoat’s Daughter” on the word ‘because’. Freaked me the hell out lol
If you made Horror themed patches I may not have a bank account anymore, it may just transfer to you omg
Patches would be fun! I asked for enamel pins 😍
