- The black hole is an amazing pattern that we learned from the legendary Crispy. The high contrast on the shirt is achieved by dyeing a core of black color and adding rings of luminous dyes around in a concentric circles fashion. Alternate between dark and bright colors to create beautiful halos coming from the center, this is definitely a cool pattern.

𝟏) 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭
Start with a clean 100% cotton blank white shirt.
Soak the shirt in water then wring it out. Leave it slightly damp.
𝟐) 𝐌𝐢𝐱 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐲𝐞𝐬
Using 8oz (230ml) bottles
Measure and add your dye powder first.
Add 1 teaspoon of soda ash to the bottle.
Fill the bottle with water and shake well.
Don't mix too much at one time - the solution only stays good for a few hours.
𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 - 𝐃𝐲𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲
Pastel - 1/20 tsp (0,1g)
Soft - 1/8 tsp (1g)
Medium - 1/2 tsp (4g)
Strong - 1 tsp (8g)
Powerful - 2 tsp (16g)
𝟑) 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭
Choose your favorite technique and follow the folding process.
Pleat, crumple, and fold your way to success.
When you're done, bind the shirt using rubber bands or string to secure it in place.
𝟒) 𝐃𝐲𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭
Using your dye bottle, apply the dye gently over the shirt. Use your favorite technique or let loose your creativity, there's no wrong way to do it!
𝟓) 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐲𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭
Leave the shirt in a warm room. The dye reacts better at a temperature of 70°F (20°C) or more.
Let the dye react for 8 hours or overnight.
𝟔) 𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭
Rinse your shirt in the sink under cold running water. Open up the shirt while rinsing. Continue rinsing and washing by hand until the shirt stops bleeding.
Soak the shirt in warm water to remove any remaining dye.
𝟕) 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭
Machine wash the shirt by itself or with other tie-dye shirts for the first wash.
Cold wash with a small amount of detergent.
After the first time, you can wash your tie-dye shirt with other pieces of clothing.

i never thought tie dye had to have specific measurements or like shirts had to be put folded up really carefully to make a perfect tie dye. like when I was younger I used to go to a camp and they would tell us to just roll the shirt up and it would always turn up somewhat disappointing but it’s really cool to see perfect tie dyes being made

I love doing tie dyes . i always have a hard time stopping it from fading quick tho lol
Are you leaving the dye for at least 24 hours, it should be 24 to 48 depending on your extra time to do hobbies. You should only use warmish water for the first rinse but wash in cold after rinsing the extra dye out in a tub or sink.

@@baileymorgan635 you're welcome, also natural fibers take dye the best but you can dye blends as long as most of it is cotton or another natural fiber.
Soak a new tie dye in strong salt water before you wash it and always use cold water. It sets the dye. Works really well for new jeans or anything you want to keep from fading. Learned this in the ‘60’s.

I think about 50% of the people I have subscribed to are Canadian and 48% are American. The 2% is just mixture of other nationalities.
Canada and America are big so there is more chance of good content to find
Here's the reasons :
- better internet
- access to many kind of technology, such as better quality camera or even lighting
- flexible hours, can work whenever they want due to light/electricity that are always on
- easy access to more items, can literally just order online and things will get shipped to ur door
There are many privileges us Americans have that we don't even know are privileges, a third word country's citizen can barely hope for these things, and some don't even know the internet, and even when they do, their video quality most likely won't be good either. We are so blessed, really should appreciate it more.
