    So there's a few things I'd like to mention here, but before that, I'd like to give a huge thank you to Zipp for both the Link & Navi art in the thumbnail as well as being a great friend during the entire video production process.
    Link to Zipp's Twitter: twitter.com/MrSetsHat
    *(please keep in mind that the twitter is marked as NSFW, and as such may contain posts that fit into that entire marking).*
    I'd like to start off by stating that I am extremely thankful of all of the support given, but that I am also very much sorry.
    The apology is mostly due to my abysmal timing of getting this video out, as, due to a combination of IRL and general procrastination problems, I wasn't exactly able to get something out in time. Arguably, the length of the video could also explain this, but in truth I could have finished something like this in less than the two months I took.
    The thanks given is directed both at those who, like mentioned before, gave me so much support back when the video (the DMC2 but without guns thingy) started gaining traction as well as those that subscribed recently or decided to stay subbed this entire time despite the gap between uploads.
    To rectify a few things here on the part of the thanks, I'd really like to be able to much more actively do stuff regarding my content. Whether that's in the form of direct uploads, or just community posts, I'm unsure. For the time being, I am at least ensuring that I reply to as many comments as possible, as it is 100% deserved for everyone that goes out of their way to add their thoughts, other additions, or just some outright meme related stuff. All of it is great, and thank you so much again.
    Now, I'd also like to answer the question regarding future uploads. Since a lot of people may have seen me first due to my Devil May Cry video, I'd like to assure everyone that, yes, I am still going to do content on that, and I'd like to get something done relating to the first Devil May Cry game hopefully soon. As for the other games in the series, I will get to them as well in time, but it's likely I will commit to uploading other content as well unrelated to that game series as I very much would like to do stuff in other areas. In any case, if anyone does end up having any suggestions relating to those games, challenges or otherwise, I would love to hear them.
    I've also thought about possibly getting into streaming in order to allow me to do my challenges with a better involvement of everyone else, as having an active challenge with viewers could be a lot more interesting from both sides (maybe). However, this isn't a for sure thing, as I both need to go through some setup stuff if I am to commit to it, and I am unsure about whether or not that's something everyone else would like to see.
    Also, I believe it may be important to add that I will seriously try to upload something a lot sooner as I seriously despise having such a massive amount of time in between both videos. This was honestly kind of another reason why I wanted to get into streaming stuff, as it would offer something in between uploads and also allow me to produce content occasionally from whatever is done during those sessions.
    Anyway, I feel like this comment is already getting super long, so I'd like to end it off here by stating, once again, just how thankful I am of the support that was given back during the previous video. I really didn't see myself focusing more into the entire RUclips stuff and was mostly just doing it for testing some editing stuff, so getting a sudden spike in interest (both in subs and views) was surprising but also extremely motivational as well.
    I hope you all have an amazing day/evening/night and such, and thank you so much if you decided to read this entire wall of text! :D

    I gotta admit, my eyes bulged and my jaw dropped when I saw your methods for jumping into the well without the Song of Storms. I don't think anyone would have held it against you to just ignore the rules for the adult part and have played it as normal for the sake of getting to the last stage, but you went above and beyond for it and I gotta respect that.

      @SquaredNull  Год назад +1

      yeah, it's likely i could have done part of the adult section normally and then just continued on to the well afterwards, but i was getting irritated by my own limitations and just kind of decided to go for the glitch route. i am not sure about whether or not i want to make use of exploits or bugs that much in future challenges going forwards, but i guess that would depend on how everyone else views them and if they're fine with them being used in something like this. in any case, thank you for your input!

    Great video
    I'm not sure if you know, but the wall skulltullas can also be bypassed another way. If you stop moving when they turn yellow, they will lose track of you. After waiting for them to turn away from you, you can move again and repeat as necessary.

    • @SquaredNull
      @SquaredNull  Год назад +2

      that seriously would have saved me a decent amount of time if i knew about this beforehand. the fact that i never picked up on them being able to lose you is just absurd, but i guess i was just so focused on the other stuff that i completely forgot about playing smart.
      thanks for mentioning that, though! it'll probably be important in an future things involving random skull wearing spiders.

      @@SquaredNull lol You honestly don't have to deal with them much in a regular playthrough. Most people don't learn that this is possible, because it's so easy to just shoot them. But if you're doing challenge runs then it's possible that it could be helpful.

    Yet again, man, much like with the DMC2 video, you made a great video.
    Very entertaining video with interesting routing and fun commentary. I loved this one and can't wait to see what you come up with next, be it DMC or not. You deserve more subs than you got right now, so I can't wait to see that number grow. Props to you, man :).

      thank you so much! it means a ton to me to hear that this video was also enjoyable to watch like the other one!
      if i did have to share more about future plans with videos, i think what i'd like to share is that i am still working on dmc related content. in addition, i'd also like to say that i'm sorry that my posting takes awhile to do, which honestly could be the reason for the obvious low sub count, but i am really hoping to turn that around in the near future and start posting more often once i finish my current project.
      regardless, thank you again!

      @@SquaredNull Man, you got nothing to apologize for. It's hard to set up a posting schedule sometimes because we don't really have control over what happens in our lives sometimes. Post when y'can, these videos are currently going for quality over quantity. As for what you're working on, again, whether DMC or not, all that matters is that you have fun with making the video. :)

    You should've named your character "a tree" for maximum confusion and comedic effect.
    Also, can you further explain why you _can't_ get the upgrade at 26:22?
    Also also, blocking a Deku/Business Scrub's projectiles shouldn't count as using a non-stick weapon. The shied isn't the thing doing the damage, the nut is.

    • @SquaredNull
      @SquaredNull  Год назад +3

      definitely should have gone the full way with such a naming suggestion as that, but i felt like it would be so confusing on even my end to write a script around it.
      anyway, as for the part with the upgrade later on, i couldn't grab the stick increase at that point due to my rule requiring that i'm unable to damage enemies with items if it's not needed for progression. i guess the biggest problem with this specific case is that technically the shield isn't doing damage exactly and just forcing the enemy into another position, but it was also around that point in my gameplay where i was starting to get a for sure idea on what rules to stick by. overall, it's hard to say if i could have grabbed it or not, but just to play it safe i, apparently, just skipped it.
