- This is the Trackmania map 'Getting Over It'. The goal is simply to speedrun to the top of the tower as fast as you can.. but doing it perfectly requires a lot of precision and patience. This is my journey towards the Tower Speedrun World Record.

While being incompetent at this game, I'm forever fascinated by the true Trackmaniacs.
I own a macbook so can't even play trackmania but watch all of Wirtuals videos

but with alot of blows an whistles even m1 silicone is able to run trackmania.
also a reason i would rather build a strong pc and install iOS as a 2nd boot option.

As a Getting Over It speedrunner, I can confidently say that losing your progress due to one mistake is extremely frustrating
At least getting over it runs last like 2 minutes.
Nice to know even the pros have difficulty
And that tower was made to be somewhat like getting over it

Incredible run and amazing nerves of steel! Props to the editor for putting an alternative version of "His World" from Sonic 2006, it actually fitted really well!

Classic here 👋 we had a team of 8 builders for this one and everyone got a layout of a empty floor given by sparklingW (the host) we then proceeded to build all at the same time and when a floor was fi ished we all hopped into a testing session to make sure there were no bigger casualties with the floor and to make sure the floor was fun to play. After that we sorted all the floors by difficulty and decided on where each floor had to be placed. SparklingW then proceeded to take each fllor and stack them on top of each other. There were a few problems with that, for example itmes that we used that he didn't had in his library. In the end, after the tower was done we did a last testing session that spam over a few months to really make sure everything was as we planned. Now we just waited until someone of us was able to verify the map. Tekky then just did a 20 min time and we decided that was enough. (we seriously thought that 15 min would be max). At that time the project had been going on for a couple of months and we were so happy that this map had been played by so many and that so many insane clips were made :')

He's insane. I remember Wirtual seeing his skip, trying it for a while and going nah fuck that. But Hazard didn't see the difficulty of the skip, he saw the time it saved and he fucking went for it and got it.
Is anyone else impressed by how iconic and themed each floor is? A game designed similar to this would be mad impressive ngl.

Wirtual, the difference between your videos and other streamers, is that with these, you touch on the overall human condition with such keen sensibility. Your introspection at 15:11 takes what you are doing in game and takes it outside what you're doing, and applies it to life in general, as something that every single viewer can apply to their own lives and their own goals. This is truly what makes your videos great.

18:36 bro that song is so nastalgic. I remember a game i played for a very long time (and still do) called geometry dash, the main video that introduced me to the community was a video called [Legend Series] Cyclic, all the way back in 2016. And this song played in the intro

Watching this again after Deep Dip 2 has been released, it's amazing how small and easy this is. Only 3 hours and 38 falls to finish the entire tower? Nowadays you take that amount of time to finish a single floor lmao.
I have never played, seen, or even heard of this game outside of your channel. However, your videos are so captivating, I've found myself watching you commonly for hours on end... just letting you know, you're VERY good at youtube 👍
Hey Wirtual, first off all I wanted to tell you that I appreciate the work you put in your craft. I never was that involved in Trackmania just played it with my brother every once in a while but ever since I saw the first video of yours, I started getting fascinated by this game. And this is just because of you, so congratulations on being able to inspire people to the thing you obviously enjoy doing the most.
Small Critique: I always thought you cut to little continuous gameplay in your videos and just bits here and there, but this changed since the past few months. There was more and more consistent gameplay parts and I started enjoying the videos even more man.

Just watched this after watching the "How Deep Dip was beaten" documentary, and it's impressive seeing Wirtual's improvement over the years.
I love how on these epic runs, you frequently explicitly mention, "so I decided to get some sleep.."
There's commitment, and then there's obsession. You seem to be pretty well balanced, and I hope your own values are passed on to other gamers.
Not just the sleep thing, either. You hold some pretty decent values that a lot of people would benefit from paying more attention to. You come across as humble, entertaining, and amazingly tallented in a specific niche.
That.. ☝ is what might save RUclips, and what they should be promoting.
Could you do a video on how people create these tracks? The amount planning and time to build it must be insane. It would be really cool to see the behind the scenes on how everything is made.
It's worth mentioning that this is definitely one of the most beautiful tracks I've seen, well done to the creator!

I've never played this game, and prior to seeing your vids I'd never even heard of it, but your youtubery on this game as a subject is masterful. I've bookmarked no fewer than 5 of your videos (including this one) as possible classroom homework assignments in a course that I teach.
For future videos, do you think you could shed some spotlight on the "adjacent angles" of this game? Rather than focusing explicitly on the driver / player as the only protagonist in any of the stories, why not some love and attention placed on the apparently-unsung-heroes that design tracks? Does anyone design tracks on stream? In particular, I wanna know about PF maps, how they're made, how to critically assess PF tracks as works of art, and maybe some of the historical notables? Have there been any tracks similar to the one made by DoodleChaos, where the pf map was synched to music?

I missed the live stream for this, but watched all the VOD's back then. After that thanos vanish, I paused and had to continue watching it later on, cuz that one was the most painful run I have ever seen, especially since there were no mistakes until that point (if I remember correctly).

Really great job on that speedrun! You see, this track reminds of a Roblox game, Juke's Towers of Hell, it's basically a parkour game with almost the same concept as this track. Currently there are around 250 towers. Really difficult aswell.

Since the pandemic hit my life changed in a way I wasn't prepared for, and things got rough for a while. its not just the skill that it takes to drive in this game, Wirtual's story telling ability and editing make his videos such a compelling watch.
