Fanatics are so so comfortable to wear but are way way to expensive for the quality. If they costed like $40 at full price that would be reasonable i think, not $150 thats laughable
I agree 100%. It's insulting that Adidas (and Reebok before them) would use that garbage vinyl numbering. They can't even be bothered to make them the proper size and color either.
Imagine eat pasta with sauce or tacos with adidas jersey 298$ , im happy to wear a fanatics jersey 95$ in this situation and for the everyday life , but for hockey match or execptional day lets wear an adidas jersey 💪😁
I wouldn’t even wear a fanatics hat let alone their “jersey”. It is absolute garbage. Everything they make is. Really hope the entire company goes away.
annohing for a Scottish 🏴 Oiler stuck paying the prices for NHL international shop or Fanatics / USA Sports. Those are our ONLY options. we get charged £100 for a nameless Fanatics jersey and £150 for Fabatics with name. Admittedly they have 20-30% discounts regularly but nothing like the end of season sales in North America. I'm pretty satisfied with my Oilers Orange Fanatics McDavid jersey which is still in great condition. 😊 agree thay adidas is the way to go but discounts few and far between compared to Fanatics over here. 😢
Glad to see a review I can relate to. Adidas are beautiful but between my height (5'3") and weight (😅) the size I needed was beyond a dress on me. I've been in the Fanatics is crap mentality since they first came out but I just bought a bunch of Leafs Alts in them and they are freaking lovely and I can go way down in size like I could with Reebok.
(With the exception of the Reebok vinyl shoulder patch )this is the first time I can recall in 20 plus years where the there is such an appreciable difference in how the replica and authentic (or to use the old CCM terms, the semi pro and the pro) are made . I have to wonder if there was something in the licensing contracts that required Fanatics to use not just different fabrics, but also prevented them from making stitched logos. I can certainly see Adidas insisting on there being a clear noticeable difference in quality to ensure customers didn't just buy the less expensive one.
That definitely could be possible, it is strange at just how completely different the replica is to the "authentic". With every other brand I obviously prefer the authentic but to someone who doesn't really know the differences it would be hard to tell. With Fanatics and Adidas the difference is worlds apart.
Like to add just because adidas jerseys are by far superior, that doesnt mean they dont come with flaws. For example. Ive had the NHL emblem off centered and or crooked, shoulder patches can be off aswell. Look at that carefully. And also sizing. One 52 size jersey. Can be different from another 52.
Ya for sure, Adidas isn't the best quality jersey I own. I haven't had any personal quality issues with them but I have heard of that sizing issue before. I wish Adidas had a retail Made in Canada authentic like Reebok did, but you unfortunately just have to get Team Issued or anything above that.
I believe so, haven't tried it myself. Honestly, you are probably better off just getting it stitched though. Whether you do that yourself or take it to a seamstress.
I have learned (the hard way) to buy blank Adidas jerseys. I bought a Philadelphia home orange and a Chicago away white. I know here in Philly we can send a blank to the company who does the Flyers on-ice uniform stitching, so that’s where the orange jersey went! Still looking into where to send the Chicago jersey. The chain stitching on the Blackhawks jersey is incredible.
I watched a review of a Fanatics customized Maple Leafs jersey. The customization was so bad that the name and numbers were gray or silver. The Maple Leafs don't even wear that color.
Im pretty sure it would have the smaller logo but I find the size 42's with the smaller logo don't look as bad. It can definitely depend on the jersey though
Thank you for doing a video comparing Adidas jerseys to Fanatics jerseys the Adidas Authentic jerseys are so much better Adidas jerseys are so well done and have better quality the Fanatics jerseys are just plain trash.
I just ordered my VERY FIRST (hockey) adidas Bruins (Marchand) jersey from fanatics because they’re on sale for $160 (normally $225) I’m 5’6 and weigh 170lbs, I bought the size 44, I hope I didn’t get one that’s too small. GREAT VIDEO! Kinda wish I had found this when I was trying to decide which one to get, although it sounds like I made the right decision!
@@rileywashere91 I honestly wish I had gone for the smallest size which I think is a 42. The chest is fine and even the overall length isn’t too bad, my issue is the sleeve length, maybe I’m oddly shaped or just have short arms but they’re too long, I’m guessing it’s because it’s designed to be worn with pads underneath, which honestly I don’t understand because no one is wearing them as a jersey they’re playing in (especially at nearly $300. I ended up going to Walmart and getting something to alter the sleeves so they’re a little better but still too long for my liking because I don’t like anything the goes past my wrists if that makes sense
It will probably show the detail, but I'd go to guess it won't look anywhere near as good as the Adidas ones. I think it will probably be close to the detail thats on the Vegas logos. There's a slight detail in the black part of the vegas logos but on Fanatics it just looks so much worse.

@Butt Head the problem with them is there are so overpriced. They aren't worth more than $50. It probably costs them $20 or $30 to produce.
@@lifeofaustin1062 Adidas jerseys must cost even less to make considering they are showing up at Ross stores in the States for $17
Fanatics jerseys are just garbage, it's just a shame that adidas can't seem to make the name and numbering higher quality. Bring back CCM and KOHO!
I agree 100%. It's insulting that Adidas (and Reebok before them) would use that garbage vinyl numbering. They can't even be bothered to make them the proper size and color either.

WOW, you have the Kings Burger King jersey!!!
Adidas really dropped the bag for short people on their jersey lengths.

I wouldn't even call the Fanatic's ones jerseys. They are nothing more than a glorified long-sleeve t-shirt, and not even a good quality one at that.
Agree with all scoring. I refuse to consider the Fanatics because of the billboard sized ad stitched on the bottom.
You can take that off pretty easily. Thinking about making a video about taking it off.
Great review. I wish I saw this before I bought my Sens jersey. As soon as I saw the logo patch I knew I f*ck'd up.
aww thats too bad. At least you got a very comfy jersey!
Re pricing...the price for a KIDS fanatics jersey is especially too high.

The adidas seem to narrow
Can you fix the numbers if they fall off the Fantics with an iron?
I believe so, haven't tried it myself. Honestly, you are probably better off just getting it stitched though. Whether you do that yourself or take it to a seamstress.
Nice CBJ jersey :) I've been looking for one, but can't find one with the stinger shoulder patches. I wouldn't get it without the stinger patches
They can be hard to find for sure!
@@TheJerseyZone Have the dark one, one day I'll find a white stinger :) Such a beauty haha. Keep up the videos, love the channel!
Fanatics. To me falls into the Fakes even tho technically it isn't. But like Vesper Hockey said. The price point is delusional and not worth it
I can definitely see why you'd feel that way.
Adidas
Just for sizing reference, how tall are you?
Sorry, I forgot to include that in my video. Im 5'3

I'm not in the States so I've never used them myself but I've heard EPS (Exclusive Pro Sports) is usually pretty good, but they take a while.
Not me buying a fanatics capitals retro jersey for $180 and a capitals players jersey for $400 😌
Did Fanatics change their lettering? The reason I don't usually go for authentic is the fight strap is a bother. Anyone else?
I don't like the rubbery feel of the logos on the Fanatics, but like how light they are.
