Thank you for making such an informative video. I appreciated the details. I think I am going to wait on the authentic pro since the look, looks very similar to the jersey I bought last season.
I'm considering one just because I much prefer the straighter cut to the bell-shaped premium version. Even to the extent of paying that much more to get it.
The last time I sent an e-mail to Ben to ask about a particular jersey back in the spring, I did not hear back from him. I would still inquire about future jerseys. $425 is still steep. Both my original authentic Starter New York Rangers "Lady Liberty" jerseys WITH customization cost me around $400. So Fanatics charging more just for a blank is ridiculous. I will probably buy one for the Rangers and go from there. Any other teams depend on the specific jersey.
He can get very busy so maybe he just missed it. I'm sure if you followed up he'll get to it. Was that $400 back in the day? Or were those more recent purchases?
While they might not be worth it for your average Joe - I definitely think, it's worth it for you tho as a collector and also as a.. As disgusting as it is.. A Leafs fan.
I thought I saw it there which is why I mentioned it while recording, but when I looked it up while editing I didn't see it so I thought I just misremembered.
Adidas technically had 48 MiC's. They made a batch of Raiders-themed NHL jerseys to be sold at Allegiant Stadium, but plans were scrapped due to Covid. A bunch of jerseys ended up on eBay, and both 46 and 48 were available.
Ben is great! I bought 2 jerseys from him last week an the 2nd jersey, he didn't put a shipping fee on him. When i knew it first its says "partial refund". In my mind i fought that the jersey was not available anymore😂.
Honestly it might be a good thing that the NHL isn't customizing these themselves because factory customization is not very good. I would just use the official team customizer for whatever Authentic Pro I get. Unfortunately with the Leafs in particular, their official customizer is Catstitch who don't do public orders. So I would probably go with Sports Lettering Company (Who previously was the official customizer) or First Line Jerseys (I've heard great things about them for their Leafs stuff).
Are these fanatics authentic jerseys bigger than the adidas prime green authentic ones? More like real hockey jerseys ? Cause the adidas prime green were small in my opinion 🤷🏻♂️ thx 🙏
Hockey jersey sizing since adidas took over has been so frustrating for me. I typicall wear XL shirts... 52 to 54 size jerseys of old. With Adidas Indos when they first came out I could wear 54s but the primegreens for me felt even slimmer so I sized up to 56 (which they call XXL). I do that mainly to just gain some of that width back hockey jerseys are supposed to have. That being said, these Fanatics MiCs are obviously boxier to fit like what a hockey jersey should with gear under it... would you suggest I still stick with 56 or should I go with 54? I really wish I could try one on first before dropping $450 on these. Great review man! Always love your videos
I also really dislike the sizing of the Adidas jerseys. Since I'm so short they're always big, and with the flair out at the bottom, it usually comes off looking like a dress. It was my main issue with Adidas. For your size, I think I probably would go with the 54 as the width is not an issue. Are you near any team stores? They'd probably have some in person. And thank you very much!
How does the material feel compared to the Prime Green? The material for the Prime Green certainly feels substantial, but it still feels like what it is: woven plastic.
I wear my authentic, on-ice jerseys without a hoodie. Gotta represent and look clean. Having a hoodie underneath, in my opinion, is silly and kinda amateurish
@@RealBillBerg_8 I can understand the look with replicas. Just feel like it’s different with the authentic, on-ice jerseys. That said, people are allowed to wear them however they want. To each their own
Personally I think the new fanatics jerseys look alright.. I think the design team they have will make some cool jerseys and looks for teams. I will just never support that terrible company so I’ll never buy a fanatics
What I find laughable is that all three jersey tiers offer heat pressed jerseys . Aside of the breakaway jersey the cheapest one there’s no reason to heat press with a jersey over $300. And unless your customizing the jersey some people won’t pay attention and see oh this jersey is $40 cheaper and buy it and get a more shoddy design. They should just keep stitching no heat press for the top two tiers . And some teams offer a pro stitch which is just a fancier stitch . It’s fanatics tho so no surprise they would pull this crap😂😂
If you are talking about the crests and patches, those are all stitched. As for the numbers, it'll depend on where you get your jersey customized whether or not its stitched. Factory customization will be stitched for the Premium and Authentic Pro jerseys.
These jerseys will not be at this quality level in a few years. Fanatics cut costs. Not commitment to keep MiC past 2 years. Cmon people wake up. Why does Fanatics have such a crap reputation? They earned it because they’re a horrible company
Look I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. I've been saying for a while that these jerseys will be the same as Adidas for the first few years and once they implement their own design things could change. For now though, as long as they keep making the jerseys the way they are now, I'll be saying they are good... because well they are good. I'm not gonna be complaining about how Fanatics has ruined the jerseys until they actually do so.
Come on man!! Why?? You have on the best jersey ever, and still you bought the most awful and simple jersey in all NHL?? That jersey has looked bad in CCM, Reebok, Adidas, and will look bad even in T-shirt
Thank you for making such an informative video. I appreciated the details. I think I am going to wait on the authentic pro since the look, looks very similar to the jersey I bought last season.

Great Reviews/Content man! I'm saving for a Blackhawks one but since they are up there, I'll probably buy a blank.
Wish you get numbers and names on these. It feels so empty without it. Especially how much they cost too.
I can't wait to get my Penguins version. I have to save up for it. But the Premiums are great. I got all 3 Penguins Premium Jerseys
Ya the Premium jerseys are a solid option for those who want a high quality jersey, without spending an arm and a leg.

LMAO
I’ve seen the Canucks alternate in authentic pro on Vanbase, and tbh they’re probably going to be in the Canucks Team Store
I thought I saw it there which is why I mentioned it while recording, but when I looked it up while editing I didn't see it so I thought I just misremembered.

That is true, I more so meant like regular jerseys in that size.
Ben is great!

Hmm...I was hoping the sleeves wouldn't be so baggy like CCM. I guess pads are a lot bulkier than I thought.
Mine haven't even shipped waiting on 3 now
I didn’t know Ben was selling the authentic ones
How is the fit compared to an Adidas 50??
How will you customize it? I have been holding off till they release the jersey with the players.

They are bigger in terms of width. Length I would say is close
Great vid!
Does the material feel the same as the premium?
No it doesn't. I'll go a bit more in depth when I do my comparison video but they are very different in that aspect

Interesting. I usually wear 2XL shirts. But 54 was my size in an Adidas jersey. Which is supposed to be the equivalent of a XL.

I'll talk about it more when I do my comparison, but it feels similar to the Adidas MiC jerseys. Different than just the regular Adidas jerseys though
The Leafs are Great love the Jersey !
How does it fit with a hoodie, brotha? It doesn't look bad without.

Fits better with a hoodie for sure.
@@Vanhelsing8900bahahahhaaha every fan knows it's only cool with a hoodie yo

Is the torso wider? I wonder if I could get away with going a size down than I usually get?
Yes it is. I think you probably could get a smaller size and it'll be fine.
@TheJerseyZone I was hoping some local stores will carry the on ice cut so I could try them on first.
Gotta wear pads to make them fit

Jersey's that cost that much isn't worth over $400.00! And no name and number?
True authentics for other leagues aren't much cheaper.

Let’s Go Leafs
Gross 🤢 Leafs 🤮
haha 😅

probably the worst hockey take of all time
Well the jersey is quite different from what it was in a CCM and Reebok, but I bought it cause I'm a Leafs fan lol.
