Really like those videos, will check them all! Planning a trip and would like to go hiking as well. Really liked the video about Somaemuldo, Tongyeong. Can you please tell how long the hike approx was? :)

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoy them. Apologies for the late reply or if you've already down the hike! The hike in somaemuldo won't take very long at all. Once you are off the ferry you can either hike to the summit directly from the port which should take, if novice, about 30 mins. You should see a sailor statue pointing off to the island of maemuldo i believe. If you follow the trail onward which is the highlight of the hike you should see the island, with amazing views from a viewing platform. You can descend down to the beach and if the tide is low you can cross and hike up to the lighthouse. But plan accordingly for low tide as well as when the ferry returns. Another option is to take the trails to the left of the port once off the ferry that go around the backside of the island, the trail eventually meets up with the one that leads to the summit or you can bypass the summit and have a trail that goes along beneath it also leading to maemuldo. That hike would take about 2 hours to complete if I remember correctly. There are trails that lead to other areas that i wasn't able to do due to time contraints. Best case scenario is to arrive early since it takes about 2 houra to r3ach the island itself and give yourself enough time to explore the island it is truly breathtaking. Early ferry, time it with the low tide, cross to maemuldo and back again on a later ferry with not having to rush. Hope it went or goes well! Happy hiking!

Did you visit Korea again or is it footage you’re working through? Thanks for the video. I loved it.

Glad you loved it! Haha well I've moved away from Korea and have about 5 TB's of footage I'm going through at the moment. So yes many more to come!
