    I love this mountain too. Smallest national park but it’s so amazing.

      Awe thanks Jessica! I'm glad you enjoy them....I hope to post more as well 🙏 its time management with a full time job that makes it difficult! Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll have another one up. Stay tuned and thanks again!

    Wonderful rocky ridge! It reminds me of 'Manmulsang' course at Gaya-san which I've been to recently!

      Those beautiful rocky ridges are what I live for mate!! Nothing better on a hike then some jagged ricks to contend with.

    How do you get drone permission to fly in the National Park?

    • @thelastofthegeojites
      @thelastofthegeojites  3 года назад +1

      Some national parks are quite lenient when it comes to flying a drone such as in Wolchulsan national park. Others are not. You must do your own research on which national parks allow it. For instance, Hallasan National park does not allow it whatsoever. To be honest its quite difficult to find out which ones do or don't allow it but take it on a case by case basis.

      @@thelastofthegeojites okay, I've taken my drone with me a few times to National Parks but only to find a sign that says drones are forbidden. I'll be heading down to Wolchulsan in 2 weeks, I'd love to get some shots with my drone there.

      @@Expat_Jimmy Awesome! As long as you are not disturbing other people I feel you will be alright. I've done it from the cloud bridge as well as on the peak obviously. But just like anything with drones, at your own discretion.

      Hi! Glad you are interested in hiking Wolchulsan!
      My apologises for missing your comment. If you are still interested, to get from Seoul to Wolchulsan Mountain, you can take a combination of trains and buses. Here's a general guideline on how to make the trip:
      Seoul to Mokpo:
      Start by taking a KTX (Korea Train eXpress) from Seoul Station to Mokpo Station. The KTX is a high-speed train that connects major cities in South Korea.
      Mokpo to Wolchulsan:
      From Mokpo Station, you can take a local bus or a taxi to the Wolchulsan area. The journey by bus may take around 2-3 hours.
      Note: It's a good idea to check the bus schedules and routes in advance to plan your trip accordingly. Buses may vary in terms of routes and departure times.
      Once you arrive in the Wolchulsan area, you can explore the mountain and its beautiful hiking trails. Be sure to check the current transportation options and schedules, as they may change over time.
