- ►If I can improve dramatically in this area of my game I could really string together a good score for the qualifying events. but it will definately take tonnes of practice and commitment.

A lot of the content you will find on the channel is of Andy Carter being out on the golf course showcasing real-life scenarios and shot that all golfers will encounter on the course. If you can improve these areas of your game then for sure scores will lower.
Popular content throughout the years has been golf course vlogs, with Andy either playing against the golf course in his Carter vs Golf series, or playing against fellow PGA professionals, Tour professionals and even amateurs. Happy golfing ⛳⛳ Спорт
Good luck in the qualifying comps - shoulders back and own them!
Great vlog and exactly what I need to do just now.
Cheers
Good luck, Carter! Focus on staying in the moment and enjoying the challenge!
That's the plan! Let's see what happens!
Hey Drew
Great video but more important best short game practice..
Go for it....all the way
Cheers
Guy
Love AimPoint. Did a course last year and it removes the ‘noise’ in my head around the read. Once I’ve got the number, I run the putter shaft from the ball to the point by the hole then pick a point about 6in in front of the ball. That’s what I’m hitting over so I line up to that. All I have to think about then is speed. The course I did said focus on finishing 12in past the hole. Good luck in the qualifiers.
Great video and great to showcase how a round of golf can be fully a practice session
Not every time you step on the course has to be for score
Where I play has a short executive 9 hole next to the championship course it’s great to practice on. Good luck at the qualifiers!
Good luck Andy. I really enjoyed this practice session.
Glad you enjoyed it
You said nemesis in the title I was thinking not another Fryer collab😂. Yes practice this a lot distance control with wedges
No im on a sabatical 😂
All the best for the qualifying comps Andy 👍.
Good luck 👍👍 i use the clock system 9 oclock 1030 and full. So 1/2 , 3/4 , full distances for pw gw sw lw. Ill practice hitting 20 ball and get the avg carry for each swing and update my yaradge card each time i practice
Good luck
I am fabulous on my local par 3 golf course. Same thing on the main course I'm so bad
You don't need good luck.. You have the game you just need to trust
yourself and don't over think it.... But that said GOOD LUCK
Always think its interesting to see the feel vs real of half shots. What you think is L to L ends up being about 3/4 etc.
Good luck in the qualifiers mate. I saw my car go past in the background so I'll consider myself famous now 😂
Yes i noticed my L to L was miles off lol!
Good luck qualifying, international series feeder to LIV…
Good luck for the qualifier Ali.....but aim point😵💫😵💫, can't get my head around it but whatever works 👍, I consider myself lucky that I don't have to fill my head with it all, it's mashed enough lol 🌟🎊🤩🥳
It’s pretty simple. It’s a formula rather than anything overly complicated. Possibly worth a course then deciding?
Andy, good luck with qualifying. I might pop up to Foxhills and cheer you on. Would you suggest that this on course practice to dial in distances is better than trackman or just for variety
Yes personally i prefer course practice so you play into greens, see the reaction of the ball, see how the wind affects certain shots etc.
GC3s/Trackman practice is good for a baseline
Would it not help if you made the decision that if it's 85 yards or under, it's either 54 or 58° and dont go near your 50°? Maybe it'll give you less to think about and gives you the chance to concentrate on the 2 clubs.
Yes absolutely, that's pretty much what I learnt.
Other than on links courses if its 60,70,80 into wind I may go chippy 50!
Where were you playing/practicing?
The Bristol GC, Bristol UK
But your L to L sandwedge shot was nothing like a 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock, it was a 10 o'clock to full finish... Not a criticism, but surely your feel has to be somewhat like the real.
Feel vs real . They went different distances
@@andycartergolf they did that, I'm just concerned that when you're at Open qualifying and under pressure, the feel might not give you the real you are expecting, like I said it's not a criticism, I really hope you do well at Open Qualifying on Monday, I got my money on Peter and You to get through. 🤞🏼
Yeh i get you 100% and youre right. There’s a lot to manage because i literally play 1 tournament a year lol so lets see what happens
@@andycartergolf all you can do is give it a go, I know there will be the inevitable pressure, but try to brush that aside, enjoy the day and swing freely, if it goes well then great, if not you've had a great day out playing with top quality lads... Enjoy it Andy.
@@andycartergolf T5 you've given yourself a chance, let's see what Pete comes in with.
