Willie Le Roux went off in the 1st minute (straight away they down a man despite it being a backline player. There are players in the forwards who can fill in as backs hence why we have the 6/2 split), there was constant back and forth changes with blood bins, it changed the whole bench plan. Don’t fool yourself the clown MW had nothing to do with it. If anything he is bad for rugby, he act like this is a little girls game…its far to physical for him.

Frawley has a leadership quality at 10 that evokes confidence. He is an attacking threat with ball in hand, and has a boot on him that’s probably 20% greater than a typical 10…. He was exceptional when he took 10 from Byrne in urc against Munster. And he played 10 (exceptionally well) when Leinster beat La Rochelle away. No disrespect to Crowley. But for me, Frawley has a higher ceiling and is the best 10 in Ireland right now….

He's also physically tough and looks bigger than the other 10s (though Crowley does tackle well too). Hard to judge ceilings between him and Crowley as they are both quite similar in a lot of ways. Frawley is more mature and experienced and I think that showed in the way he managed the game yesterday. Rather then either/or, the prospect of the two of them for Ireland is a great one.

That little burst from Frawley and then the grubber kick that Sacha took into touch, was the difference in the game. I thought Sacha made a mistake myself although he may have felt he had no choice as he did not know for sure where the ball was going to go. It reminded of the fatal James Lowe decision from the previous week. I hope Leinster have a change of mind about Frawley playing 10. I think they will be under tremendous pressure now to make that change.

Just picking pom as captain blocked some serious backrows and we saw how dominant our pack was in the 1st ½ when they had 8 forwards going all in no passengers. A stupid yellow cost us the GS. Congrats Ireland. You deserved this win. You were hungrier than the Boks.
The Bokke were lethargic and executed poorly. Kicking out of hand and applying pressure were poor, they didn’t protect the catcher well and lost confidence in their lineouts and mauling. Poor general positioning lead to Murray’s try. The Irish cleverly targeted Malherbe in open play and Boks were too slow to close the gap on Malherbe’s inside when Murray scored. Pollard played with a shoulder injury for 30 min but couldn’t go off due to the 6:2 split. Foreign based players widens South Africa’s player pool but many of those players aren’t fully fit when they return for test duty to SA. Snyman, Kolisi, Pollard (and Nyakane) are examples while Faf and Kwagga weren’t as sharp as usual.

I see some irish fans gloating about the stats against the Springboks saying "we beat the boks 4 out of the last 5, WOW". That is a very true stat that they love to cherry pick but here are some more stats that they dont like to cherry pick. The last 20 matches between the SA vs ire, SA won 11 out 20, Ireland have never won a series home or away against SA, SA has more victories against irleland home and away and lastly it took ireland 22 years to win against SA home or away. So i really dont see this as a "rivalry" when you look at those stats. recent victories have been narrowly scrapped by ireland and to celebrate each of those victories as if you won a trophy....it clearly shows which team is number 3 in the world.

It 100% wasn’t . Players are practicing those kicks since they were kids. The better ones have it so slick it’s hard to see. It would be much more difficult to a punt kick as it’s not the rhythm or the way they practice.

Any idea how hard it is to punt from that low... actually, I could have stopped at "any idea?"

Matt Williams is a Good analysis, thou we love to hate him as South Africans.
But his bais to his team, especially when he Complains about the Bomb Squad.
Anyways I think It would be the most stupid thing if world ruby would listen to him on that.
Imagen in soccer you control who each team put on the Beach, even in ruby it be stupid.❤ 24:20

Matt, please stop saying 'we' when referring to Ireland. You're an Aussie and would support Aus over Ire 10 times out of 10.

@@BoomsRiddico4868 CJ Stander played for Ireland. There's a big difference. If i move to Aus and become a rugby pundit, that doesn't make me Australian or an Aus fan.

These posts however do make you out to be very, very very small minded. It just doesn't need to be said and is nit relevant. Matt Williams has more right to talk about Irish Rugby as we than you do. As he has actually significantly contributed to the building blocks of the success we are seeing now. If only he'd more more use of his time making dim witted and spiteful comments on RUclips instead of bring useful in the real world.....
