I've found what sounds truer to the original to my ears towards the end of the first riff is, instead of going 5 4 0 on the D string, I go 7 5 0 on the A string. Awesome tutorial btw!

You can definitely still play it in just Drop D. DADGBE if you only want to drop that top string. Gotta drop the top string at least though or you wont be able to hit that low note
