C2S1 would not have been nearly as hated if it hadn’t gotten extended so much

C3s3 was pretty good imo. The vibin visuals with graffiti and shit was cool. The saplings were really fun.
But the 2 most important things were the Dragonball Z collab and the fact that Rocky Reels randomly became this major hotdrop during that season.

I think a major thing is that a season is lackluster gameplay, but a great battle pass (I.e. C4S2) are generally remembered more fondly than a season with a lackluster battle pass, but great gameplay like C3S4., which had probably the most universally panned battle passes out there.
@@RayuzxYea tbh the battle pass was like a 4/10 for me so only that high because of spider Gwen, Paradigm, Bytes, and Twyn but overall it sucked. But the gameplay of that season was AMAZING!

Ngl, chapter 4 season 3 made me appreciate all the seasons I didn’t like as much. I’ve never wanted to quit playing a season so badly lol. The only reason I kept playing were because of 3 things: 1. friends (that also didn’t like the season but fn is fn) 2. The bp since I would hate myself for missing any items from the bp 3. The jjk collab. Imo the next season was a breath of fresh air for me.

*In my opinion:* The only good thing from Chapter 2, Season 6: Was it's opening Cinematic, the Bows (though it was a love and hate weapon), and some of the Battle Pass skins.
Plus, there's a comic story of how The Loop works. Through Batman's experience
Tbh I think Optimus and meowscles were carrying C4S3

Only reason I played that season was for Optimus, god the jungle was horrible, and circles always fuckin ended in that area.

I swear Primal had one of the best cinematics/events ever but unfortunately the season never got better after it
it actualy did... if you looked at the updates they added the infantry rifle and tac shotgun which did NOT need crafting. they lowered the cost of crafting and made npcs sell parts along with making the spawn of normal weapons higher. chonker tires were added this season too so traversing the primal biome wasnt that bad. unfortunately people like you are unable to see this because you want a season to hate, imo crafting is a better feature than attachments because with crafting atleast you could sidegrade. attachments make weapons like the mk7 and red dot ar useless

Crafting was super unnecessary. It just added extra steps to the upgrade system, which was already well received

I can kinda understand the enjoyment of getting certain items to upgrade or make items, like the cape,or the primal,work craft,mechanical weapons,etc
I'm more of a risk reward guy, and the vaults in Ch5 S1 and the bunkers in Ch5 S2, just feel more filling,go to a pow, beat the boss and get the reward of not only better weapons but also the chance to customize said weapons the way you like them,or in Ch5 S2 case where if you wait for a bunker you gain the chance to give attachments while the chance to die is raised due in part to others possibly wanting that same vault
(Also the floating island,but I rarely use or see others using it's work bench)
Love or hate anything pre-Chapter 4, at least they had lore and story. Chapter 4+ has barley anything
Chapter 2 had the best story but boring gameplay and Chapter 4 had bad story but the gameplay made up for it it was so fun

It is amazing how much feedback fortnite learns from. The best example would be bosses at different locations. They experimented with them so much, but now they are in very season. Pretty great developers, and use of community feedback.

@@remrants yeah, I remeber my friends and I got on early, and we all said what we thought was going to happen, all of us were wrong. Many of my friends also got kicked out and didn’t get to see the trailer, the only good part of the event.

@@remrantsYea I feel like Fracture would have been good if we fought the Herald actually and for a long time (Like 20 minutes out of 40) and then we rebuilt the island but it was more intense and was way shorter and more happened like we could see Amie and the Paradigm like with us helping us. Oh and we like saw the mothership abduct the zero point. After that then I think with all that it would be perfect alas, that is just a fantasy that I made up and is not what really happened.
The chapter 3 seasons are so underrated oh my god
for real. I love all of them except vibin, and even that wasn't that bad.
@@remrants Vibin is my 2nd most played season ever so I can’t say the same. I LOVED that season. Actually good non pump shotgun, top tier map changes, good AR meta for casuals, Combat SMG vault (thank god), Hammer AR is one of the best AR’s we’ve had, top tier battle pass, do you need me to keep going?

I actually LOVED Primal and am surprised how much the fandom hates it. It wasn't that hated during its run. Only after it ended did I see a ton of hate for it. The Spire was cool. The battle pass is still a fave of mine. Lara Croft and Raz are still skins I wear a lot. Crafting was cool imo. It felt like the game was evolving in interesting ways.

Chapter 2 Season 6 changed my opinion of Fortnite overnight. I loved the game and when Season 6 came around I completely quit. Insane to me how that even happened
I loved season 4 chapter 3 something about the plant mechanics, the grinding on trees, and that temple in the middle was so nice also the skins seemed so original and I loved it
I agree about chapter 4 season 3, the idea was cool, but it really didn't go as well as I hoped.

I actually think C2S6 was a good season it was just too game changing for most people. This was one of those seasons where I played Fortnite consistently and for C2S6 it was purely because of the survival aspect. You had to really work to make your loadout good with crafting rather than just having O.P stuff from the start. And the “Escape the Island” gamemode was peak for me with how it gave me the feel of a real side mission for Fortnite with it not revolving around B.R but a different objective entirely.
I actually agree I really like all the “hated” seasons
It may have been weak, but I still wish I played more C2S6 to at least get the classic CG Lara Croft style.

I'd say chapter 2 season 6 is better than chapter 4 season 3
To summarize my thoughts on each of these:
Vibin’ was nice for a chill season that wasn’t too long or event heavy. The previous season (still it’s fantastic) was all about rapid changes every week or two, so it was a nice change of pace that also made me feel free to play some other games without having to worry about logging on that week and missing something.
C2S1 was the season that got me back into the game and got me hooked on it for the years to come. However, it was stupid long and absolutely nothing happened after the banger first two months with a boring loot pool. It is probably the closest to “vanilla Fortnite” since the early seasons. It was also the last season to have a lot of Chapter 1 traditions so I’ve always made the assumption that it was more of a transition period into the real Chapter 2.
I really don’t get the hate for Paradise. I absolutely loved it and think it is a shame that the Chrome hasn’t come back in some form, I loved using it. Live event was kinda stinky but I still somewhat liked it. Had a lot of cool stuff and was super experimental in a good way. I don’t think every new thing worked but I do hope they revisit a lot of those ideas in a more stable form.
I also don’t really the hate for Wilds. I don’t really have any genuine points here though, I just really enjoyed that season
Primal I get 100%. Experimental in a bad way. Sucky weapons, sucky POIs, the Raptors were and are still more annoying than anything, and it was just boring for most of it. At least it had a good BP if you ignore the celebrity. So glad Invasion picked up the slack, I’ll die on the hill that Invasion was Chapter 2’s best season.

primal did fix many of its problems by the end and hell they kept crafting for the next two seasons in the form of sidegrading. i will die on the hill thaf nexus war had a worse lootpool than primal. just look at them both and tell me how many guns you remember being in nexus war cause i promise you its not alot
Chapter 3 season 4 looked fun, wish I started playing Fortnite around that time, the skins that season look awesome

Ch2 season 6 was the first season in Fortnite history I truly couldn’t play, it was so bad I didn’t even buy the pass, and I had every bp up until then
The only reason I don’t hate primal as much as the community is because I was actually very good with the bows and miss them every day, and the battle pass gave me two of my favorite skins of all time: Agent Jones and Raz.
The hate is still very much deserved, but it left me as a singular player with some great things so I can’t be that angry.

Season X was a horrible season too mainly because they had no unique rotation or weapons all they had were mechs

I liked the Primal season, the overall vibe, mixing bows with guns and it actually worked, the cool Batman subplot and the mystery of the looming threat was all great! It was definitely over-hated
I mean at least we got A LOT of meme skins in C2S1. Rippley/Sludge, The Brat, Jellie, and Triggerfish were all released that season.
For chapter 2 season 1, the pandemic had nothing to do with it since the season ended weeks before Covid officially became a huge problem during chapter 2 season 2 which is regarded as one of the best seasons. C2S1 imo is the worst and damn near nothing can beat it.
My thoughts on these seasons:
Chapter 2 Season 1: Since i started playing Fortnite on C1S4, this was one of the most hyped season starts ever. But it got boring soon, i didn't even get to the Overtime quests since i stopped playing for a while.
Chapter 2 Season 6: It's alright, mid. The map changes were questionable, bows were fun, crafting system was too big for a 20 min battle royale game. And the mythics were... ehh.
Chapter 3 Season 3: Fun, i honestly enjoyed it a bunch. But i didn't like the Season Lore-wise.
Chapter 3 Season 4: Map changes were the most lazy map changes ever, they just threw some chrome structures here and there, and painted poi's with chrome paint. Chrome was fun to use tho. Fracture on the other hand... meh.
Chapter 4 Season 3: Mud was fun, and Raptors looked nicer, poi's were cool but a bit annoying. Nothing else i can say about this season. The guns were good.

Funny enough, Chapter 2 Season 6 was my first season. Maybe it's because I joined in at the last month but I really enjoyed my time playing because I was finally able to play this game after so long of not being able to for so long. and now here I am, 14 seasons and having over 300 skins in my locker.
Some of them might of been the worst seasons but the battles passed were really good season X Still to this day is the best battle pass

I was an avid player of fortntie, every season from season 3 of ch1? I played it.
Chapter 2 season 6 was the first seasons I quit playing the game.
And didn’t come back untill the next season,
And the next time I quit was actually chapter 4 seasons 2, I never really liked the season, I do regret it, but looking at footage, I see it as just a decent season. And didn’t return till the Halloween update of seasons 4
if you didnt quit you would know that by the end they fixed many of the problems including making normal weapons spawn more, added the infantry rifle and tac shotgun which didnt need crafting, bows could 1 shot headshot like a sniper, chonker tires and even made crafting cost less and had npcs sell them. this is my problen with its hate because most of you never gave it a chance later on

It put in so much new content, normalised weekly hotfixes, and put features that are still in this game to this day

i dont know how people hate wilds so much it was an amazing season everything in it was awesome it felt like chapter 1 again, im guessing all the hate is coming from zero build players bc builds was insanely awesome.

Primal was my return to Fortnite after not playing since chapter 1 season 5, Lara Croft brought me back
The one season that i didn't bother to play a lot was Paradise. Especially the BP as it was the worst one, in my opinion.
I really enjoyed Vibin. I loved the map and the atmosphere despite not many map changes throughout. Only thing I wish we had was Klombo back and no fuel gage on the ballers

Surprised Chapter 2 Season 5 isnt on this list. People hated it bcs of the collabs and no actual changes. (And I dont blame them)
I've been playing Fortnite since its launch, and the vibing season was nowhere near the top 5 worst seasons, IMO. Season 9, X, Paradise, Wilds, and Primal are all way worse
For someone who’s played every season of Fortnite. Chapter 1 Season 1 is up there for one of the worst, as nostglia the game was really bare bones and the map was just a green wasteland with the odd house here and there.
You have to remember atleast we had updates in chapter 1 season 1 compared to chapter 2 season 1 and didn’t have bad weapons like chapter 2 season 6
I did like the survival mode in primal but that’s it
I liked primal, dont think that crafting should have been as core mechanic as it was, but i didnt hate it
I actually really enjoyed primal especially the bow and arrows they were my favourite weapon

I feel like a lot of these seasons simply had one or two problems that the community blows out of the water. Sure, there’s always gonna be some seasons down at the bottom of the list, but the reasons as to why and how vehemently the community dunks on those reasons is what i take issue with.
Like, The only problem with C2S1 was that it was long. Everyone knew it wasn’t supposed to be that long, but it had to unfortunately get extended due to the pandemic. So I don’t think people should hate on the season for a reason that exists outside the game.

Chapter 3 season 3 I’m really confused why people hated this season I get that maybe the loot pool wasn’t good but I loved the new poi and the new biome

C2S5 sucked and was one of the worst. Wilds was not that bad due to the exciting new biome and weapons. C2S5 had a small, central biome, a poor story except for the end. The battle pass was great though. Vibin' cannot say the same for its poor battle pass
Can we just mention that the top two most hated fortnite seasons involve grass, trees, wildlife, and nature 💀💀💀

The issue I found with chapter 4 was the fact that is completely disregarded the system. It was always, break season, active season, break season, active season. Like:

(Chapter 2 Season 5 to Chapter 2 Season 8 is more of a gradient due to the absolute inactivity of season 5, the mild activity of season 6, the moderate activity of season 7, and the absolute activity of season 8. Chapter 2 seasons 5 and 6 are extremely hard to place on their own due to having a live event right at the beginning of season 6 to help transition.)
Sorry I did not include chapter 1, I didn't play an absolute ton back then so I never got a full grasp on the story. But the difference between and active season and a break season was how they treated the players. Active seasons usually had live events, but chapter 1 had an absolute ton of those, so they toned them down in chapter 2, with a system where we would have something intense happen and then let us feel the repercussions after what happened. An active season is the incline and the break season is the decline, where the in betweens, like the events, are the peaks, and the silent shift to the next season, are the valleys. It was a healthy system. It was so epic didn't have to make so many events, but it is so we could feel a sort of extended season.
Did bro just say chapter 2 season 1 was bad? Star Wars collab, 8ball, Vex tier 100, rippley, new graphics, etc that season was definitely top 5 plus 8ball is the best skin ever

I can already tell by everything you’ll be talking is in the perspective of a sweat player saying the charge smg is bad but for anti sweats and casuals that was the best weapon.
Chapter 4 Season 3 is so overhated...
In my opinion Wilds is mid season. Not worst, and of course not best.
I like in Wilds new biome(l didn't have any problem in jungle, lol, and this biome is perfect), battle pass(Optimus Prime, Era and Purradise Meowscles are my favorites), loot pool(common, loot pool isn't bad. I very like Flapjack and Mammoth with Cybertron Canon. If you think the weapons in Wilds so overpowered and imbalance, then remember Infinite Gauntlet and B.R.U.T.E., and Kinetic Boomerang is good, because, thanks to him i took 1st place in Battle Royale in this season), Slown's return, and of course, collaborations.
I didn't like in Wilds "Summer Event", wasps and temples with artificial intelligence.
But collaborational maps with Witcher and Nike for me replaced the "Summer Event"
My mark of this season is 6,5/10
I have got a lot of fun in this season, and I was shocked, when found out, the Fortnite's fandom consider Wilds one of the worst season ever. But this is wrong
And, in my opinion Fortnite hasn't got bad seasons. Because all seasons in Fortnite good in their own way.

Okay people sayinf chapter 2 seaslm 1 didnt have much contemt are forgetting we got the star wars stuff, Both a Fortnjtemares and the best Winterfest, Plus overtime challenges with great rewards plus it bejng a long season meant epic had a ton of time to make chapter 2 season 2 as great as it was. I'd argue longer seasons meanjnf better next seasons shojld mean seasons should be longer just so the game doesnt ever drop quality some . updates
Honestly primal wasn't that bad the crafting system was easy to understand and the map changes were better than c2s7 which was fun too but Primal was great had a good story behind it and the has the first live event that you were able to play more than once during the launch of that season.
Inmo primal wasnt as bad as everyone says, it had cool concepts like crafting or animals and hunting; farming mech parts wasnt annoying since you had to farm for mats before so farming for them was justified the primal weapons were a cool concept while the makeshift made sense since in that season you had to find whatever guns to play even makeshift ones, and bows were a cool alternative to snipers since they had similar learing curve. The only real negative thing about that season was almost no map changes were it was supposed to be more wild but nothing real ever happened, i think the so called pro players shouldnt have complained like babies when they started to loose rather to win, since they didnt want to adapt to the new meta but rarher not going out of theyre confort zone
The only reason i dislike c3s4 was becuase all the bp skins outside of spider gwen were mid
