I love how they're leaning back into the Shadow/Ghost theme with C5S2, and bringing back old characters from C2S2, it's really awesome and makes so much sense.

What I was referring to was the two factions seen in C2S2. Shadow and ghost, they were the whole theme of the season, and you could select which style each skin would become, a shadow agent or a ghost agent.

@@YoBlob-w3l Back in the first few weeks of C5 S2, when the floor is lava gamemode was a thing, there was many of the C2 S2 characters in the game, being a reference to that season, which has theme 'ghost vs shadow'
The theme didn't match 'myths and mortals', it was another theme entirely that was also present in the season.
@@SirPanikalot778 They made a “midas” game mode. Nothing to do with the original midas. Miths and motels was awful’
I would literally cry tears of joy if chapter 2 season 2 came back. I just have so many memories playing with the boys and me saying "lets drop at the agency" then my brother would say "We cant drop there, there are way to much people that land there." Most of the times we would die but sometimes I would carry them and we would escape. Good times.

C2 S2 was apparently one of the best seasons but that was the exact time me and my friends changed to GTA Online. I played every other season but 2. I would give one of my kidneys for Meowscles honestly, as far as battle pass skins go it had some of the best

I am actually surprised that chapter 2 season 7 did not make the list since it was such a fun time to. We had a bunch of new fun items like cows or the grabitron, fun events, the mother ship ufo gamemode, and you, know epic actually cared about the game
One of my favorite seasons, the build up to it, the execution of the new map changes, weapons, mechanics
yeah fr and that minigame for better loot mid game
Honestly, I love all of chapter 2, but we gotta admit that sometimes we get kinda biased, because the time which this season happened was perfect, quarentine, play all day, online classes, it was so much fun!
Chapter 2 was GOLD. Best seasons since CH1S2 - CH1S5
I still love c1s7 one of my top 1 seasons people hate it be cuz of the plane's and mythic sword but overall fun season

I so wasn't a fan of ch2-s4, I believe that was around the time they changed team rumble too (or maybe it was a little later) but as someone who used to just play that for challanges and some were locked to just battle royale, I found all these boss bases such a pain to get through and to actually do many of the challanges
Ch1 - s5 was an awesome season, loved that season so much, especially the desert biome and the golf course, along with other things like the golf carts and just how fun it was. Kevin was boring for me though, nothing happened for so long every day you logged in, it just moved a little and the wait was just dreadful

Ch2 s2 was such a goated season , dropping at the agency with the boys during quarantine was one of the most fun i had in my life.
I would love to go back in time to c2s2 to get the battle pass. Mostly for Midas

@@bettercallgarrix yeah, but he's gonna have some weird ass Greek redesign, I doubt it will be original midas, and I hear rumors that he is "learning to control his powers", which might mean he wont turn guns gold like the OG. Hopefully they still add the gold gun feature, id buy extra levels for that

The only reason a lot of people liked season 7 was the overtime challenges, and people forgot how annoying the planes were when season x mechs came. Also lynx for reasons.
This may be an unpopular opinion but I see in acouple years, the current season, Chapter 5 Season 1 will be regarded as at least top 10. Its so fun rn, guns are good, mobility is great, collabs are great, the shot gun has one of the most glorious and satisfying sounds, the hype for Midas returning, extra game modes etc. and I think it was a great move to have this as the season after chapter OG

Maybe chapter 5 season 1 will be the best season of the chapter but I believe the level of gameplay we have on this season will be the default on other seasons in this chapter. who knows

Chapter 2 Season 4 was the first season i played in Fortnite, the loot pool was kind of bland that season but really nice for new players cause you could understand the fundamentals of Fortnite gun play. Overall i personally give that season a 9 / 10 cause it was genuinely fun to play and the stark update for me is still the best mid season update to date.
I personally think ch2 s3 should have made the list. It was basically ch2 s2 but with tons of map changes, the addition of sharks and vehicles, and a pretty solid battle pass. It was also during covid which was why I thought it was quite fun
Honestly, I think chapter 3 season 1 was the best. It had the spider man mythics, so traveling was so easy. I think chapter 3 season 2 was also good because, the game was so simple. Good video! I hope you get more views.

I started playing in chapter 1 season 9 honestly makes me emotional watching these vids lol I've been though alot of shit and I've been playing fortnite for years don't play fortnite anymore just ain't the same 🗣🖤😭🥰
I loved chapter 2 season 1 before it got old to season 5, always enjoyed playing before my friends stopped playing, but s7 is always my favorite
I for one played Chapter 2 Season 4 and I have every single skin and bonus style still in my locker. The Mythics where a cancer back then especially Wolverine claws.
Season 7 used to be hated but imo it was always goated
I hate how some youtubers diss chapter 2 season 2 by saying it wasnt balanced or it went on for to long, but i completely disagree because, it was so fun just having that feeling to play in lockdown every day. The peak of fortnite.
As skmekne who started and chapter 2 and favors the fjrsg 4 seasons of that chapter with no chapter 1 expirience. I think Season OG was amazing! Sure not all the locations were notable *didnf freak out everytime i saw heccin Haunted Hills* But the gane was actually fun and simple. Not having 50 new features bombard yiu was a nice change of pace of to have simpler gameplay plus rhe battle pass was just. MMMMM DELICIOUS
I miss the mythics from chapter 2 season 4 because they are all unique to their character which were extremely fun to use

One thing I loved about chapter 2 season 4 was the tournaments they had, most of them revealed the next new marvel skin they’ll add to the shop and instead of it being a normal arena cup it was a 3v3 game with power ups only

I’m 25 and I’ve been playing since the beginning of Chapter 1. Everyone who wants to use “nostalgia” as an excuse that we only enjoyed the previous seasons bc of how it made us feel is a bad take from yall. Fortnite is a very unique game and many other platforms can’t pull off what Fortnite has done. where they can basically change the game completely while maintaining their fan base. Over the 6/7 years of playing. These newer seasons are not at all similar to the good old days but at the same time it’s fun and still works. If they permanently gave us OG Fortnite, I would never get tired of it. Same reason why I could never get tired of playing the older Cod games. BO1,2&3 or the original MW1,2,3. It’s not entirely nostalgia, they were simply different compared to what we have now.

nexus war had an absolute dogshit lootpool. want proof just look at it and tell me how many guns you remember and how many you used... in my oppinion it sucked because all games boiled down to 1 man with ironman one man with dr doom and everyone else with either a scar or stark rifle plus pump. it was boring as fuck and dispite me meeting my best friend in that season it was actualy when i thought about quitting because the game felt stale and there was absolutely no variety and im a marvel fan for god sake. i saw the season and was like "cool i cant wait to see what marvel weapons they add" and all but 1 were mythics. oh and this also had the worst fortnitemares by far because of the ghosts. it made 2022 look god tier compared to this ablsolute butchering of 2 weeks

As someone who’s been playing since the start this list is completely wack… only ones I’d agree with is chapter 1 season 5 and chapter 2 s2 but other then that chapter 1 s7 is so overrated, most people rate this so highly since this is when a lot of people were introduced to this game + winterfest but it had some of the most controversial changes and it barely got any updates throughout the season it was boring asf I’d have to argue that season 9 was wayyy better.
Also season og was terrible id argue the worst season of all time because it legit just felt like one of those fan made creative maps and epic barely put any effort into actually delivering an authentic experience and the map was awful with the new mechanics and all especially zero build.
