    I just want to say thanks for taking the time to do your video's. Well explained, good camera angles , and very thorough. I have a 79, so the dash set up is different and a few other things. But basically most fixes are the same. Keep up the great work, your time and expertise is very much appreciated.

    Mine won't go into park and I can't get the keys out. My husband said make sure you are completely stopped before shifting it. Well I might have been rolling a little. I'ma try to fix it myself. Thanks for the explanation very helpful ❤

    I'm loving your vids. Question, is there a way to put the car in neutral without it being on?

    • @ProblemSolverGarage
      @ProblemSolverGarage  2 года назад

      You would have to disconnect the cable underneath the car that goes to the steering column

  • @EugeneSokalski

  • @gustavette8487

    Great videos! Question for you: when I shift from Park to Reverse, it goes into Reverse with a hard clunk, like it slams into Reverse. Also, when I go from Park to 3rd, the same think, although a bit less "aggressive". Any ideas what to look for? Thanks!

    • @ProblemSolverGarage
      @ProblemSolverGarage  2 года назад +4

      That’s pretty normal for cars of that era, what you need to do is go from park into neutral for like two seconds and then into drive and the other way around, before throwing the car in park also put it in neutral first regardless of if you’re in drive or reverse.
      So basically anytime you’re taking the car out of any gear put it in neutral first
