Tipper and Matt may our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ continue to pour His blessings upon you all in 2024. Continued healing and strength for sweet Granny and safe arrivals for 2 grand babies! ❤
It all sounds so exciting! Bringing back the garden, how wonderful..So many good plans, new babies, etc..I pray it all works out that Corie and Austin can soon sell their house and move over, how great that will be...Can't wait to see it all unfold!!!!❤❤❤❤
If it works out, I would really enjoy seeing more interviews with older people who have memories of how the history of our country impacted their lives. I wish I had spent a little more time talking with my own grandmothers about what life was like when the USA entered WWI and how they made it through The Great Depression, and WWII. What a life of struggle every ordinary person lived . I was born in 1943 and have never experienced the kinds of things they did. I believe we cannot allow the history of ordinary people to be lost.
Ya'll so cute and funny, oh boy it's sure gonna be an interesting and exciting year to follow along with your plans. It's gonna be extra fun to get to see them baby boys as well as the new gardening area and Corie and Austin's new home place. We are truly grateful for your channel Tipper and Matt.
Praying for Granny to receive a good health report for 2024. I would love the chance to read Granny’s poetry. A treasure for sure. 📖 Congratulations on your soon to arrive grandbabies. 👶🏻👶🏻🍼🧢🩵
Being a grandparent, the time goes faster than when my kids were little. I have 2 sons, and each of them has given me a granddaughter , they are now 8 and 1. Blessings on your new year and goals.
Good Lord y’all don’t cut them trees down! Let them coincide in the field together! Have both your fruit and your corn don’t give up nothing! Just go around it!
I am very thankful for your videos and your sharing your life us. I learn lots from you and I am 69 years old. Never too old to learn things! Love you all even though I only know you all thru your videos.
God bless you and all your plans for 2024. Thank you for your efforts in providing a channel that is wholesome and entertaining. I can understand your excitement in growing a larger and more variety garden. The anticipation of grand babies on the way is very exciting. May God’s healing hand protect and comfort Granny. Thank you again for sharing it all with us. ❤️😁🙏🌹
That’s great Tipper and Matt. God is good all the time. I pray many more blessings for you and yours. I can’t wait to see the upcoming videos for 2024.
Celebrating Appalachia is the perfect name for this channel. Watching as your families continue keeping Wilson holler flourishing with love and prosperity. Just think, your grandsons will be going barefoot with you and Matt as you're working in your renewed garden. I'm looking forward to more videos as you share your future dreams on this Christian family channel. Praying and Blessed! 🤗🙏💕
God Bless y’all! I found your channel over a year ago just by watching your cooking videos and then quickly started watching everything. My family got back in church last March and I’m trying to walk with the Lord each day and watching Godly people makes it easier. Thank you for what y’all do. Congratulations on the precious babies coming!! Looking forward for more updates!
OMGosh, Matt will be in hog heaven with two baby boy grandsons!!!!💙😁💙 It is going to be such fun and a joy to see your family grow!❤ Enjoyed the annual catch up. I am just claiming Granny's MRIs to show improvement, in Jesus' name, hallelujah and amen.🙌🏼 Wow, that's nice Paul could retire as well. Congratulations!🎉 God bless!💖
My kids went where I went. Back in those days we didn't have any of the snuggle or wraps like they have now. Fishing didn't seem as hard as tractor work to me tugging a newborn along. I am so blessed that I didn't have any help taking them along because those are still some of the sweetest, most heartfelt memories. We didn't have air conditioning so canning could get a bit uncomfortable at times with a little one tucked into a pair of modified overalls but the memories keep me going on some of the more difficult days. God Bless!
Hi Tipper and Matt, I just sat down and am catching up on your videos. I am blessed beyond measure just watching the celebrating of Appalachia. It's always something I look forward to. Your 2023 will remind you that the bitter makes the sweet even sweeter. Here now y'all have two grand babies comin! The Lord is our stand up and recovery AMEN❤
Really enjoyed this video. You are certainly going to have a full plate. The arrival of those sweet babies is definitely gonna be a life changer. Prayers all your dreams and plans come true. Also, a very special prayer for Granny. God Bless.
I just love the way you approach life! The bitter and the sweet…the ratio changes sometimes, but the sweet seems to always outweigh the bitter. Y’all will make whatever you do special by doing it together. Y’all are a wonderful family. Keep up the good work. ❤️🙏💪
Get a tractor with a tiller to plow it up. That would be easier. Love listening to to your stories and your plans for the future. Can’t wait for them grandsons to get here.
Oh no. Taking fruit trees down for corn. Grand babies need fresh peaches. But you do what makes you happy. Fresh corn is wonderful. It is a shame there is no other place to grow it. Sure hope Corie and Austin can sell their house and move closer to ya’ll. Many blessings in 2024.
I'm sure the 2 little boys are going to grow up loving hunting, fishing and exploring the woods...They will have a wonderful childhood and have a loving, caring family who all love them and give unconditional love...This year will go by in a hurry...I'm hoping to retire full time and go to a casual position for a few years and then retire full time...I'm finding this exciting and look forward to being home more often to spend quality time with my husband...God Bless y'all1🙏🙏🙏
Enjoyed the video very much! Lots to think about from the past and for the new. The ime rushes by. My husband retired in 2010. Matt, he is like you. Time is his own and more time for us. God bless your new journey and all that He has for you.
I so enjoy your videos and your family and all the Love n knowledge and humor and wisdom you give to all your viewers as well as to the people you tell us about it your videos. Shine On!
Tipper, I hope that you are able to interview more people this year, like you have before here. I swear those are among my favorite things to hear. It's not just because you find such wonderful, wonderful people, it's how you do it. You are a natural, gifted that way. It was fun to hear this recap, gosh there's been so much this year. Bummed to learn Paul retired. Schools need such a person as he is, terrible loss for the district, no doubt. Happy for HIM, though ! Just love all of y'all, as always.🙌🏼 💞
I just love your cookbook, I use it weekly! Brings back a lot of recipes my granny would cook for me, now I’m the granny, so I hope the to pass along this wonderful cookbook to my kids and grandkids! Wonderful Birthday gift idea! Look forward to each and every new post from y’all, and the girls! We also got your calendar, our bank provides them, so we got one there too, but we have one for the garden shed, and for the kitchen! Gotta have those signs exactly right to can taut and stuff! We love them! Thank you for doing them again, I missed out last year! Much love and prayers!
I can’t think of any other people that I like to hang out with to listen to than you two. Y’all just crack me up, how y’all pick fun, but yet manage to have some good conversations. A lot has happened for sure, but as you say Tipper, it’s just how life is, bitter sweet. Y’all have a lot to look forward to this year and I hope it is a year filled with all sweetness.
I absolutely love the idea of you doing more interviews. Enjoyed the one of the flowers family. I packed my daughter when she was starting at two months old in a carrier and went trout fishing in the very early spring. Were there is a will, there is a way.
I’ll weigh in to encourage your interview of senior folks. They are a limited resource and once gone are gone. I regret not recording my elders. I really enjoyed Granny Hicks. For Matt’s barn building aspirations, my Papaw used to say, “My get up and go done got up and went.”
Asking for prayers 🙏. Our 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and spent the holiday in the children's hospital in the NICU from a DKA. We're home now but it's been an emotional rollercoaster.
Oh my goodness. How stressful for all of you, but have faith. Children are very resilient and often cope with health issues better than we adults do. Praying for all of you but especially your granddaughter. Girls are strong. She’ll do well. ❤
Try corn on the cobb, in a 2 gallon ziploc bag, still in the husk....you don't zap them real long...but they will be HOT, so dont get burned...but it is our new favorite way to do fresh cob corn....and for planting...plant some roselle/hibiscus, for fall jelly...or tea...
That’s so exciting you will be able to brings paps garden back. It’s also exciting that Kori and Austin may get Steve’s house. I will keep them in my prayers that they sell their home. God bless you all 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
May God richly bless your family in the coming year. I know you're thrilled to have the extra garden spot. I think Matt needs to buy him one of those small garden tractors with a rotary tiller attachment. It would make pretty quick work of it.
It’s great to hear of your plans for 2024 and get to watch them come to fruition! And the coming of your two grandsons…can’t wait!! God bless and much love to all! 💕🤗🙏🏻
Hey Matt... I bet you could compete in the TV show ALONE and win the whole thing with all your outdoor knowledge!!! Thanks to all for sharing 🎉🎉🎉 ✌️🇺🇲🙏💛
Exciting plans for 2024...I'm tired for yall 😅....I pray you will be able to keep those fruit trees while still having your corn...and maybe you can plant more butterbeans too...we put up 2 bushels of corn every year we dont grow it but it is great corn...a full days work though...those grandbabies will keep you busy too...I keep my 6 mo grand daughter 3 days a week and also pick up our 7yo grandson from school 3 days...we stay tired but we love it...exciting things to come for Celebrating Appalachia
Your sub from Oregon just wants to send some congratulations to "All" the family.grandchildren are blessings from above! My prayers are with you folks for the elders of the families,we wish you all the best! Thank y'all for sharing the Appalachian way of life. I enjoy the unity of the family and their values in life. Peace & Grace❤️🙏🙏
You have some great goals for 2024. I sure hope you can accomplish them all. Especially granny's book of poems!😊 Matt is looking more relaxed and happy in every video. 😊 Things are going good so far in 2024 it seems. Keep counting your blessings! As always, continue prayers for everyone!❤
Afternoon, Tipper and Matt. What an exciting year you have in your 2024 plans! You also had quite a year for 2023, though. I've been proud to have been lucky enough to have found your channel a couple of years ago. Those grandbabies will surely turn your world every which way!😂 I have 6 living and one Angel Baby. I call them the Jewels in my crown. Thank you for sharing your family and life experiences with us, your subscribers. Have a Blessed day and a Blessed and Fruitful 2024.☕
Praying God gives you comfort in your memories of Miss Cindy. Prayers for Granny and that the tumor has shrunk. Praying that those two grandsons arrive safely and healthy. Grateful for all the great stories you share with us. Happy 2024!
I know it's been awhile since, but I'm just now commenting on all the videos I watch and enjoy, but I'm just Soo happy for You Matt that you don't have to work for someone else and can be with the family and work for yourself now. I bet that feels Soo dang good, doin the work you love, and good at and set your own pace. Makes work more enjoyable I think. Just love that y'all are all together, Austin and sister are just right down the hill now, Katie and bubba are doin great and granny is doin better and you girls come home soon. Matt and sister are doin great while your gone. ❤
Tipper once the grand babies have come and things settle I think you should do a gardening/lifestyle /cook book.Recipes from Appalachia that are garden based along with growing tips, words of wisdom etc…lots of people(even us city people ) are interested in growing our food to save money but maybe find all of it overwhelming at times… and you’re the perfect person to teach us all how to put food up! But whatever you choose to do I’ll support ❤Let’s hope 2024 is good to all of us
We have always used Troy Built rear tine tillers and had good luck with them. We still have the one my dad started out with over 40 years ago and my brother uses it every spring. I bought a used one a few years ago and have been pleased with it as well.
I'm excited to see the prospects of 2024. Not only my life but y'alls too. I'm truly grateful for your family and channel "Every Day of the World!" Continued prayers for Granny and the whole family. 🙏
Matt get you a 25hp or so tractor with a bucket, tiller, and box blade to put in that barn. Will make you life alot easier with the garden, driveway, etc
Loved this video!! Thank you so much for sharing. I look so forward to visiting with your family. So many fabulous plans. May God richly blessed each of you and heal Granny. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
My mother-in-law, who has quilted since she was probably eight or nine years old, is adamant that you must not wash your quilts very often at all - like once or twice a year - that’s the quilts you use daily - she has made beautiful quilts she has donated to the cemetery association where her husband and family are buried - she uses colors for her quilts I would not use - her colors are fall colors that are not very bright - I like quilts that are bright and colorful - her family was very poor and her father died young - my mother-in-law, her sisters and mother used flour sacks any scrap material they had to make quilts - she has a set of quilting frames but doesn’t use them because they take up a lot of room - she calls it, “hand work”, or “sewing, when she sews the blocks together then sews the blocks and batting together - she makes the whole quilt with the fabric in her lap! - I don’t know how she does it but she does! I have several beautiful quilts I have stored in my closet - I think that it has been ten years or so since I got them out and looked at them - my mother-in-law told me to roll them up my quilts with tissue paper and never fold them because it makes a creases - I loved the reading today! 😊🌹
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart" I really appreciate the both of you and your entire family. We may live miles apart and experience vast cultural differences, but we can glean from our contrast and similarities. Mahalo Nui for taking us along on your journey that God has in store for all of you in 2024 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I bought two of your Christmas cd and they were very much loved presents! Also, we bought your cookbook for our Granddaughter and her new husband who is from the south and that was also well received !! thank you for your blessings that you and your family bring to our lives!!
I hope all your dreams come true what a great way to not slip into the seasonal depression days of winter, I think I will set some goals too thank you. I retired last year I know how Matt feels your own time your own space its amazing. Love you all and I am so thankful for your channel I ve been here since the beginning ❤
Wishing your family a happy, healthy 2024! Sending healing prayers to Granny. Two grandchildren on the way, such a blessing! Will Matt be getting a dog anytime soon?
I was wondering if maybe a small tractor might be warranted with the extra Garden space coming available. A lot of extra options with one. I really enjoy this video. Thank you for sharing. God bless all here.
I have 4.25 acres of flat land. Wish you lived near me. Your would be welcome.. I just like potatoes and Texas Sweet onions, my dad’s favorite. Any way, people are free to garden and enjoy here. I made Matt’s oyster soup for New Year’s Eve. God bless!
Yes, 2023...my mama went to see The Lord on new years eve day. She was nearing 95, and she was oh so weary. 😢 God Bless you all and I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏽 Seattle kin ❤ P.S. I remember the label fiasco 😂 Another book? Yay! Love you granny! God Go With you Special 🙏🏽❤️ P.S.S. How about an "audio book"! Nothin' beats fresh country corn!

I'm looking forward to your visits this year, your such a Blessing. God Bless. 💕& 🙏🙏'ers. Jean
Thank you for bringing us into your home. ❤
But whatever you choose to do I’ll support ❤Let’s hope 2024 is good to all of us
Just love you guys, grateful full for all your blessings
I was so thankful to have a job working for the man.
We were very blessed to have good public jobs too 😊 Thanks for watching!
Too much fun!
We have always used Troy Built rear tine tillers and had good luck with them. We still have the one my dad started out with over 40 years ago and my brother uses it every spring. I bought a used one a few years ago and have been pleased with it as well.
thank you 😊
God is good

Sears use to sell router tillers that were pretty nice. And bigger.

Matt get you a 25hp or so tractor with a bucket, tiller, and box blade to put in that barn. Will make you life alot easier with the garden, driveway, etc
He would love that 😊
Loved this video!!
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart"
I really appreciate the both of you and your entire family. We may live miles apart and experience vast cultural differences, but we can glean from our contrast and similarities. Mahalo Nui for taking us along on your journey that God has in store for all of you in 2024 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Wishing your family a happy, healthy 2024! Sending healing prayers to Granny. Two grandchildren on the way, such a blessing! Will Matt be getting a dog anytime soon?
Thank you 😊 Maybe in the future
I was wondering if maybe a small tractor might be warranted with the extra Garden space coming available. A lot of extra options with one.
I really enjoy this video. Thank you for sharing.
God bless all here.
I have 4.25 acres of flat land. Wish you lived near me. Your would be welcome.. I just like potatoes and Texas Sweet onions, my dad’s favorite. Any way, people are free to garden and enjoy here. I made Matt’s oyster soup for New Year’s Eve. God bless!
Thank you 😊
Yes, 2023...my mama went to see The Lord on new years eve day. She was nearing 95, and she was oh so weary. 😢
God Bless you all and I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏽
