I love Clapton of this era, however your version is a bit too gnarly for me. Perhaps roll back the volume and tone a tad and engage the neck pickup. That would be more Claptonesque, and you can then get away with a more aggressive attack. But to each their own. :)

Have to agree. Awesome playing and tone, but definitely more Moore than Clapton. Even at Clapton’s most aggressive, he didn’t attack the strings like Moore. Moore was a bull on meth in a china shop.
