This is....great. It is super useful for those of use who can't afford high end equipment
Thanks for sharing, I dont have an engraver and this will works as an alternative option for me
Thank you for sharing this method. I gave it a go today and I'm so thrilled with the result.
I glad you got a chance to try, so easy and changeable as well. I also think it frees you up for more creative designs as well!
Awesome
I already have a laser engraver, but this is an awesome alternative way to get the same effect. Thank you for the information.
I have an Epilog Helix as well you can't beat a laser if you have one.
Very nice. Thanks for sharing this unique process for the LED edge lit effect.
I love your video. I did my first one this week. It is a Christmas gift for my great nephew. What is the best way to clean these to get the finger prints off. I would like to give him an instructions sheet and include the cleaning process. Thank you again for the great video.
OMG I was thinking the same thing instead of engraving! Thank you for confirming this. Very cool. 😁👍🏻

The led base that I buy are for 4mm, where do you buy the 3mm base? Thanks
Thank you for this video! How can you seal to make permanent?
Hiya, how do you prevent bleeding of the frosting under the cut out
It will depend on your masking, if you use a good one then you should end up with a nice line with no bleeding, however, if you are having issues there are different things to try:
1. If it is hot try cooling down your space so that the masking doesn't lift.
2. You can apply Mdd Pog around the edges of your masking so the "first bleeding will be transparent.
3. You should make your first coat a light one, dust the paint on first and allow it to dry, this will also seal your edges for your next coat.
There are so many things that can impact your masking that you might find one or a combination of the above helps you.
nice....
Have you tried spraying polyurethane to make it permanent? Does it make a difference?
Do you think we can achieve a 2-tone effect by applying heavier/lesser coats to create the contrast? by use 2 stencils?
I think it is possible just a little, frosted glass is normally a " is or isn't" thing, it could be possible to add color which might give the layered effect as well. We would need to try it.
I saw you asked how long does it lasts but can't find the post. It should last years as frosted glass does, it shouldn't come off unless it's being rubbed against
Does it comes off if decided to wipe with windex like removing finger prints. ?
How deep did you set the blade on cricut machine ? or what setting you put on ?
It’s just your regular vinyl setting
does this spray give enough opacity that you can see through where it was sprayed?
The spray is made so that you can see light and shapes but you cannot see through it. Sparkle Decal works as well.
Sounds like a ton of work laser engraver all the way but thanks for the video you gave me a few ideas
If you have a laser then 100% use it but some people can’t get to a laser so that’s when the tricky but more work ways have to be done
So how did u get the decorations inside ? Did u say u used the Cricut machine
A Cricut or Cameo would work or even a reusable stencil
Where is the best place to buy the rounds
We have them on our Hestai Etsy shop
Very new at this do you have a video on what is , and how do you make this "MASK" you talk about on this video ? Than you for any information you can give.
Sure can the mask is just a stencil or some covering to block the paint and create the design, I will get a quick video up for you this week.
@@Makeso-Hestai Thank you
@@Makeso-Hestai Did you cut the “mask” with your Cricut?
Just regulat frosted glass paint
