I have the 2024 Challenger Elite, Stage 1 now, going to Stage 2 this winter. Love the bike. Only issue is a recall on the bike for a power drain, once that is fixed I will be estatic!
@NostalgicMotorcycles not sure of what I could say is my favorite yet. But I can tell you I love it because of many differences such as inverted front forks, Fox rear shock, LED lighting all the way around, and an engine that walks circles around a 114. The Windscreen is an added bonus and also that handles like a sport bike.
I owned the the 23 CVO …put about 3,800k on it…..and traded for the 24 Challenger….Harley is 100% garbage…and don’t get me started with the dealership experience. So yeah…i think i know what im talking about
Ya torque is far less significant when compared to HP is the torque numbers are relatively close. If one bike has 30 more HP (challenger) and the other has 20 more torque (Harley and this is exaggerated as the Harley really only has 10 more torque). The 30 more ponies is going to make a much larger difference. In this example the Harley could have 30 more torque and it would still be slower. Hp is speed. Tq is accel. You can accelerate to slow as fast as you want it’s still slower. Challenger has power and torque with a good balance. Just having good torque is about as useful as a semi In The speed category.
@NostalgicMotorcycles i can't keep it out of sport mode, lol. For as big and heavy as it is its definitely peppy and very maneuverable even stock. I'm a tall person, and the only addon or upgrade for comfort were the kst 6in mid rise bars and a cup holder lol
Listen man it’s not a speed demon to that level for sure. But it’s comfortable and handles strangely similar to those bike given the different seating position. You will find a similar feel to stability and size between the legs. Obviously different position and power.
@NostalgicMotorcycles I've heard similar. The trade off of power vs comfort will have to be accepted. Im a big man at 6'5..335lbs. I believe it will fit me perfectly. We'll see. Good video. I live in that area.

@@NostalgicMotorcycles I’m wondering how the chieftain stacks up to the challenger. One of those is my next bike in August. I just don’t know which one yet
@@leftlegtrumpcard8152I recently just test rode them both at Bike Week in Daytona and I can tell you with certainty that the Challenger makes the Chieftain feel slow. The power plus 108 out performs the thunder stroke in every way. That being said, the chieftain is really nice. The controls and gages are much closer in the batwing fairing compared to the fixed fairing. If the rumors are true and Indian will be offering power plus motors in both bikes next year, definitely wait and try both with equivalent power plants. That way you will be able to compare apples to apples and make your decision based on preference, not lack of power and performance! Both are really, really nice!
@@CarlosRamos-dj5vw lmfao 🤣 I hear a 112 in the future. Nothing official but there are rumor the next challenger will be bigger and badder. Similar to what Harley is doing with the king of the baggers. I think Indian will play that card as well.
Honestly, your choice is a good one. Not because riding it feels a lot different like I said it’s well balanced and easy to handle. But simply moving it around. Backing out of spaces take a lot more effort. If you make a balance mistake in this bike it will fall where as the scout most people can just hold the bike if they don’t get the low speed stuff right. Once you get those woopies out of the way go for it. From a riding perspective it’s not too hard to handle just really the weight at slow speed.

A stage 1 upgrade is like 2k, and it takes this motor to 134 hp. I believe Indian is upgrading the motor on the upcoming Challenger refresh, to 112 cubic inches, up from the current 108 liquid cooled. So here's my plan.
