    I own a CVO Road Glide and when I had an opportunity to test ride Indian motorcycles. The first bike I road, I yanked it up like I would normally do with my HD, and instantly thought I might fall over the other side because it was so much lighter and better balanced.

    Even with the stock HP and TQ numbers it still beats Harleys with more HP and TQ, more so with the tune. Seen videos of it smoking Harley stage 5 117’s and 131 builds. Besides all that noise, it is great to see Harley fans realize that Indian is just better. I just think it sucks for the people that are hung up on that bar and shield logo. I mean really, Harley is behind every year. We seen the spy photos of the new Harley CVO with the 121 and inverted forks. I mean it has taken them more than 3 years to catch up to Indian and there is no saying that it is even on Indians level. If you like buying a bike and then having to dump thousands and thousands of dollars on engine upgrades and suspension upgrades, then stick to Harley. Once you finally get away from Harley, you realize how bad you have been ripped off for so many years.

    Unfortunately you’re wrong about the electronic shock … I DO have an electronically controlled fox shock that I had indian install on my RIOT ORANGE 2022 challenger. I custom ordered my ICON riot orange last year before the ELITES came out. The ONLY thing that does not make my bike an “elite” is the rear saddle bag speakers.
    Other than that … I like your videos. But yes you can get the electronic shocks for the dark horse.

      Everybody is too nice to Harley. If people were honest about Harley instead of being unconditionally brand loyal in their videos and reviews of Harley bikes, they’d actually make bikes that don’t need thousands of dollars of addons and aftermarket parts to bring them up to the rest of the motorcycle market in the 21st century.

    One of the things I like better on the Dark Horse is the wheels for sure, I like the seat better on the Elite. The rest of those Elite things are nice, but I could live with out them. So I would say the Dark Horse for me, both are amazing bikes.

    Electronic suspension is definitely worth having. I have ESA on my 2012 BMW. My 2017 Spring has a quasi bike pump! It's a pain taking off the side cover and you can only pump it up not down! And being able to soften the suspension is very handy when you want a a flexible suspension e.g. over corrugations bad roads etc. Not a fan of Matt finishes. Love the electric blue on the 111 Elite.

  • @mviens
    @mviens Год назад

    Another difference between the two is that the rear brake pedal on the Elite is the wider (full) version, while the other Challengers have the small peg-style. Coming from a 2018 Chieftain, the fact that all of their larger bikes are now coming with the peg-style is ridiculous. I am pleased to see the full pedal on the Elite, even though it is available as an accessory to the other bikes.
    Two things to note I wish Indian would "fix":
    1) The Pinnacle mirrors only come in chrome, which would looks terrible on either of those two bikes.
    2). When adding the trunk to the Elite, most of the hardware can be ordered in black instead of chrome, except for the arm rests -- they only come in chrome. Again, ridiculous.
    That said, I am literally moments away from trying to find myself the Challenger Elite. Just need to get a good price on my current bike.

    Remember when all those folks bought Victory Cross Country bikes on. a Friday and rode the heck out of them over the weekend? And then on Monday Polaris emailed them that they were out of business? Yeah...good times. But the good news is you get a neat key fob now with this so there's that.
    It must be killing you that you have to ride your Harley. Why aren't you trading it in today? You're in the dealership. Why are you waiting? Curious and a serious question. I've been watching you tell us how much better these are than your Street Glide for a while now. What are you waiting for? Scratch that itch.
