Happy to see you up and running! I didn’t acquire your patience until I was much older than you. Keep that patience, it will come in handy navigating life.

I was initially looking for any vids regarding the RVS tune for the 23’. Didn’t find any but saw your video decided to watch it and funny enough. I have a 23 Challenger dark horse and that’s where I leave my key but I’ve never had a problem but it’s still great information. I’ll have to remember to remove mine every time now if anything, it’ll kill the battery in the fob. Thanks for sharing

Great vid. Also have 23 Challenger DH from iMotorsports St Pete. Enjoy hearing about your experience with the bike.I've had mine about 4 months and really enjoying it having come off a 2013 Yamaha Roadstar - big difference. Keep up the reviews and tips and showing your experience with the bike. Thx.

We have very similar paths. I went from an Aprilia, to a BMW S1000RR to a Kawi ZX10R (Kept it though), then also bought an Indian Scout 101. I am now debating between upgrading my Scout 101 to either an Indian Challenger or the Indian Chieftain. I see you also ran into the the Indian bad battery issue too. What is odd is I bought a brand new 2025 Indian Scout 101 and also had battery issues within 1 week and bike was dead. When I brought it into to do the 500 mile maintenance they said yes a bad battery and replaced it. Seriously on a brand new motorcycle? I replaced it with an AntiGravity Restart Lithium battery.

Get the Hardstreet Ryt-there shelf set for your hard bags. I had them on a Chieftain, and my Road King bags, drop my phone, keys, wallet, sunglasses on the shelf, rest of the bag easy access for other gear, clothes, etc.

I actually was having the same issues. I got a bigger battery tender/maintainer. All of my problems went completely away. I’ve had my bike for three years now. Battery tender.4 Amp

I remember when my bike wouldn’t start after sitting for awhile, it was as simple as getting a new battery for the Key Fob… lol. I changed out that battery and it started right up.

Power drain recall from PCM is probably your issue

HogWorkz or AdvanBlack saddlebag inserts have pockets for a bunch of things… I have them in both my 23 Challenger Darkhorse and my 23 Fast Johnnie Road Glide ST.

I have a Lanpard Faraday Bag for Key Fob that I leave in the bike with the keys in it. Set your security code on the display and you can start it up without the key.

Man I had hell getting my bike tuned after the decat. Finally took it to a Lloyds remote tuning center. That worked. Don't waste time on a power commander. The PC6 won't work below 2500 rpm.

I've got bad news for you.
I've never kept the fob near my Challenger when it is my garage and the battery will go dead in 3-4 days.
If you're not riding your Challenger, plug it in.

If you are going put your FOB in the bag, make sure you take the Key out and have it on you because in a loaded bag, the lock button can get pushed and lock the fob in the bike....HAPPENED TO ME! It is a great idea to keep the FOB in there...but REMEMBER the key!

I did this, and thought I was screwed until I was reminded that the right button on the right fairing (next to the filler unlock) will unlock the bike if the fob is near...

If you want to skip making one a zippo lighter pouch would be perfect for holding fob. you could velcro it to inside wall of bag and Boom ...all done.

Bro never leave the fob on your bike when out. Your making the criminals job way to easy. I don’t like bulky things in my pockets so I have a good clip to attach the fob to one of my belt loops. I do the same with my car/truck keys too!

I'm sorry this guy is not rider, just posser. It's more speaking and complaining then riding. He probably doesn't know how to change oil which is simplest task on bike. He bought big touring bike to seat in garage and make complaining video. I have Chieftain with my 64k miles on it, never complained or had a "issue" but I ride that bike and maintain by myself, my bikes doesn't seats in garage and I'm not making funny complaining videos.

If you modify the exhaust wouldn't that void your warranty ? Especially when it's a EPA certified exhaust system . Plus the bike was designed to run with the catalytic converter . You might have to re-map the computer . I have a BMW and I just left it alone. 😊

The dealer took way to long to figure that out. Won't the cat removal void the warranty ? Which it sounds like you need.
