That's so weird since that's how I started playing originally with two classes and not one that branched off, and it's even better with the 7.0 update of having a lot more freedom with what you want!
I've been playing my Sith Warrior (Marauder) on and off since SWTOR launched back in 2011. The latest updates have really improved the overall quality of the game.
Funny, I've been playing Sith Warrior (Juggernaut) on and off since SWTOR launched as well and I'm more disappointed with the general direction the game has taken, and how little they've polished it. The mouse acceleration bug when right-clicking to steer camera+character has been in the game since launch, I've had it on three different computers, four operating systems and it's still in the game to this very day. It's not harmless when they've put platforming as a game mechanic to get datacrons - Too many times have I been flung off a narrow pathway due to the bug. I still can't forgive EA for changing Ravage from a channeled melee ability that was awesome to watch and made a lot of sense in PvE to just another instant-cast ability like all the other ones. I get that the ability was OP, but that's where nerfs can come in, not entire reworks.

Seeing this video for the 1 millionth time gets me more excited that I’m gonna finally get to play they should also add more classes like the imperial trooper and the SIS agent
Personally I would have to have the 8 main stories eventually come together in a crossover, and think I know how they could have done it. They have new even or add on where in order for to activate you have to have one of each of the 8 main classes sign up and register in the looby. There has two be one Jedi Knight, one Jedi Counselor, one Sith Warrior, one Sith Inquisitor, one trooper, one smuggler, one bounty hunter, and one agent. With all the ways you can make and customize your character and all the paths you can take, the possibilities would be endless.
Jaylen Davis the bounty hunter comes before the trooper because the bounty hunter kills the chancellor that was in charge before seresh, and seresh is seen as chancellor in the trooper's story. It is this way because seresh stays chancellor through fallen empire

I always thought I would play the Mercenary and gunslinger advanced classes but for some reason my brain saw the idea of running in with a single blaster as so much cooler
Brian Sheehan well it’s correct. The sith assassin is employed to take out specific targets. Operative does more than assassinate targets, although he is an assassin. That’s why Sith assassin has the former in front of it

Vader=Juggernaut, Dooku=Marauder, Maul=Assassin and Sidious as the dark lord is a mix of Sorcerer and Marauder, Plagueis is a mix of Sorcerer and Assassin, Tenebrous is a mix of Sorcerer and Juggernaut. If i was a Sith i would choose a balance between Marauder and Sorcerer like Sidious.
@@K.J.Richard Dooku doesn't have much in common with any of these classes. He does not dual wield, nor does he fight with extreme aggression, like the Marauder.
Saidly some pretty cool skills were reworked. Like ravage and blade dance from sith warriors and jedi knights. The animation once was way cooler imho. Same to overload from sith inquisitor and force wave and projectile from jedi consular. Looked way cooler at release but ofc, some of them took longer in animation than the skill from the counterpart.
I had no idea. I only starting playing like 2 years ago which is why I didn't know you only had one class available at the start instead of 2 like I'm used to, but it's even better now with the 7.0 update to have more freedom. I'm not an old player so can't quite relate to everything
I played this game more than a couple years ago, when the New Empire started, played a bunch of the chapters.. tried going back but seems they have raised the level to 70 on all the troops so I cannot play free and do the chapters any more.. oh well.. it was good while it lasted..

I was just watching this out of curiosity and have never taken a look at the trooper before but Hold up a damn minute Is the trooper's female voice actor Jennifer Hale?
Sigh, it still is so out of place for Imperial Agent to have blaster rifle/sniper rifle and bounty hunters to have pistols. Bounty hunters should be heavily armed and can carry weapons all the time. They dont care if they are seen with them. Imperial agents need to be more secretive, and cant just carry big sniper rifles or blasters everywhere. Pistols are so much easier to hide, and you can fool enemies into thinking you are more woulnerable than you are. If Imperial agents can carry freaking blasters, why not heavy armor as well? Its not like it is too late to change it, they just could add 3rd advanced class and allow you to change to it at some high level if you are interested, or keep current advanced class if you like it more.

Zalaoras Thanasis you can do that per character. To do this i suggest joining a guild and dedicating both characters on a server to the same faction (empire/republic). If you want a much better experience with the game i suggest subscribing for a single month witch will give you permanent access to all 4 expansions and will upgrade your account to the "preferred" status once your subscription ends, giving you much less limits than you would have as a free to play player.
justin campbell because long range classes are cool too, except for republic propaganda kid aka trooper. Imperial Agent is like space 007, if he defected to SPECTRE, Smuggler and Bounty Hunter are bonafide badasses, with Smuggler being a cool headed king of snark and BH being the closest you get to playing a Mandalorian.

I would 100% play this game if it got a fat remaster on graphics and character animations.
You don't have to have a bulky computer to play this, I play with my 4gb laptop - you just have to turn down the settings

The next two charts after this will assume all healthy characters are Light-sided. LS Pubs work towards process while LS Imps head towards goals. For Bounty Hunters, Sith Warriors, Jedi Consulars, and Smugglers, this translates to Movement (Directive Introvert or Informative Extrovert) or a preference for chaos. For Troopers, Sith Inquistors, Jedi Knights, and Imperial Agents, this communicates toward Control (Directive Extravert or Informative Introvert) or a preference for order.
Conscious Omision: Motive-Focus (SP & NF) and Structure-Focus (NT & SJ); the former is female and the latter is male.

Bounty Hunter: ISTx.
Trooper: ESTx.
Sith Inquisitor: ENxJ.

Advanced Classes
★Bounty Hunter: DS Powertech (gets up-close and personal for sadism and burns the Tarisian survivors) or LS Mercenary (far away like his/her handler who gave him/her the carbon-freezer).
*Trooper: DS Commando (far away like Garza, who encourages evil actions for "the greater good") or LS Vanguard (close enough to notice the civilians he/she fights for).
★Sith Inquisitor: DS Assassin (overt and reckless) or LS Sorcerer (subtle and thoughtful).
*Jedi Knight: DS Sentinel (quicker to kill and most grandiose) or LS Guardian (stands firm in the Light).
★Sith Warrior: DS Juggernaut (arrogantly backhands opponents and stubbornly sticks to Sith traditions) or LS Marauder (fluid and more likely to find alternatives).
*Jedi Consular: DS Sage (detached and cold) or LS Shadow (serene and active).
★Imperial Agent: DS Operative (toxic and sadistic) or LS Sniper (straightforward and pragmatic).
*Smuggler: DS Gunslinger (destructive and cowardly) or LS Scoundrel (adventure and fair-play).
Races:
★ *Bounty Hunter:* Rattataki (he/she has a unique dialogue in a Belsavis side quest).
* *Trooper:* Mirialan (no bonus dialogues, but creates a foil with two antagonistic Mirialans).
★ *Sith Inquisitor:* Twi'lek female and Human male (the latter, because he is male, is more driven to be separate, so it would be best for him to avoid the hermit's advise to use his rage from others' speciesism and even get the "pro-alien" dialogue from one of his companions' dialogues; the former, because she'll feel a greater need to work WITH others, can be alien not only to willfully ignore the aforementioned advise, but also get the funny bonus dialogue on Hoth from the same companion).
* *Jedi Knight:* Human Female, Miraluka Male (the former has special dialogue when Doc mentions the possibility of children while the latter is most lightsaber-focused of the Jedi classes, plus he gets a bonus dialogue with the final boss on Alderaan).
★ *Sith Warrior:* Pureblood female and Zabrak male (as mentioned above, women want to commune while men want to separate; the latter will feel a greater need to rebel as an alien while the former will still rebel by being a friend to the lower class).
* *Jedi Consular:* Zabrak (best justifies his or her apparently quick recovery after healing and gives a roleplay reason for acting like a warrior around the first companion).
★ *Imperial Agent:* Chiss (the entire class revolves around being a Chiss).
* *Smuggler:* Cyborg female and Twi'lek male (the former has an extra flirtatious bonus dialogue at the end of her romance quest while the latter just fits the Smuggler, plus, if a shade of blue (one of which is Pub-exclusive), he manages to make one of the dialogues in the _Heist of the Millennium_ quest funnier).

The imperial agent is like the guy who would get his crush or dream destroyed unknowingly by the protagonist of an anime or show
Sigh, it still is so out of place for Imperial Agent to have blaster rifle/sniper rifle and bounty hunters to have pistols. Bounty hunters should be heavily armed and can carry weapons all the time. They dont care if they are seen with them. Imperial agents need to be more secretive, and cant just carry big sniper rifles or blasters everywhere. Pistols are so much easier to hide, and you can fool enemies into thinking you are more woulnerable than you are.
If Imperial agents can carry freaking blasters, why not heavy armor as well?
Its not like it is too late to change it, they just could add 3rd advanced class and allow you to change to it at some high level if you are interested, or keep current advanced class if you like it more.
TheRomanRuler if you choose the Powertech advanced class for the Bounty Hunter, you can use Blaster Rifles.

Zalaoras Thanasis you can do that per character. To do this i suggest joining a guild and dedicating both characters on a server to the same faction (empire/republic). If you want a much better experience with the game i suggest subscribing for a single month witch will give you permanent access to all 4 expansions and will upgrade your account to the "preferred" status once your subscription ends, giving you much less limits than you would have as a free to play player.

justin campbell because long range classes are cool too, except for republic propaganda kid aka trooper. Imperial Agent is like space 007, if he defected to SPECTRE, Smuggler and Bounty Hunter are bonafide badasses, with Smuggler being a cool headed king of snark and BH being the closest you get to playing a Mandalorian.
