    This tutorial is a LIFESAVER, I could not figure out how to make the start of a single bead crochet rope until I saw the way you do the first few rows 😭🙏 All your videos are so incredibly helpful, thank you so much for your work!!
    May I ask how the start would change for a rope using turning chain (lifting loop) instead of spiral crochet? If you already have a video covering that, then I fear I missed it 🙈

    This is the best crochet method for the tubular bead type, full sc instead of only sl st thru 2 lps between each bead, it's much sturdier. 2 jump rings on each end also hold the lobster claw and extender chain firmer.👍

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  Год назад

      Hi, if you crochet with 8/0 beads, 30 weight thread, 11/0 beads 50 weight thread and 15/0 beads 80 weight thread. I still use 0.5mm crochet hook, but it's just my personal preference. If you use, say, a 1mm crochet hook for larger beads, that's ok. The size of the bead cap can vary depending on what the beads are like, what the thread is like, how much you tighten....that can't really be determined ahead of time. I have 8mm, 10, 12, 14 and 16mm in my stash and decide based on the specific bead crochet rope.

    Your tutorial is very nice .I am having problem in the length of the Beads in the thread

    • @lisajarvis3820
      @lisajarvis3820 4 года назад

      Sonam take the number of each bead used in on round and 👉🏾x👈🏾 it by the length you would like it to be! Sample: say you have 12 beads in first round of beadwork and you want to make a necklace that is say 16 inches long! Then you take the amount of beads in first round (12) and you x it by the length (16)!👉🏾12x16inches=192inches! This means that you add beads to your thread until your beads measure 192inches ~ you are then able to start your crochet! If making a bracelet: take the amount of beads in first round and x by 7inches= your answer is how many beads to add to make the 7inches! Sample: 12 beads in first round x 7inches= 119inches of beads 👉🏾 This should make a 7inches bracelet!

    Thank you for such a detailed tutorial!
    If you don't mind, I have a troubleshooting question 😅. I haven't had any problems with the slip stitch method, but when it comes to single crochet, my beads always line up incorrectly (they tilt at an angle but stack on top of each other rather than twisting into a diagonal), and a lot of the thread is visible throughout the work. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
    As far as I can tell my hook is going into the correct spot (under the top two threads of each stitch), but I'm not sure what else it could be 🥴. SOS lol!

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  5 лет назад +1

      I didn't mention this. If you crochet with size 8 beads, it is approximately 12 rows (repeats) per inch. So if you want to make 7 inch bracelet, it is about 84 repeats. But it also depends on how much do you tighten the loops.

  • @jessicanewland9357

    When ordering beads how do I know how much is in the pck? I mean if I've never made a necklace approx how many beads will I need? They give pcs and grams lol awesome video. I made about 10 rows to practice! I'll have it down in no time thanks to you! 💋

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  4 года назад +1

      It's great that you did it! Well, how many beads do you need? It depends on the size of the beads and diameter of the necklace - how many beads are in 1 row. I calculated this: If you use size 15/0 beads, there are 20 rows per inch of the finished necklace. So, if you have 12 beads in 1 row, there will be 240 beads per 1 inch of the necklace (20x12=240). Similarly if you use size 11/0 beads, there are 15 rows per inch, 8/0 beads - 13 rows per inch and 6/0 beads -- 10 rows per inch. And almost every eshop shows in the description how many beads are in 1 gram :) Be careful about that, because different brands of seed beads have different amount of seed beads in 1 gram - for example Czech Preciosa is significantly heavier than Japanese TOHO.
      Hope it helps ❤️❤️❤️

I started sewing beads. Four rows. The problem is that the beads don't stick to each other. Everyone sits separately. Am I right to blame crochet? I use a 30 cordon, 11/o beads and a 1mm crochet hook.

    • @Danysska

    I would like to know if you have ever used the Slon, SONO, guterman or something like the DMC pearl cotton? I watched this a couple of times and I just haven't caught it, when you get to the end of your row how to you connect it so that you start your next row?

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  3 года назад

      Hello, I tried Slon, Guterman and DMC. You don't see the transition to the next row, because the transition is smooth, I'm constantly crocheting in a circle. So if you don't explicitly count the rows from the beginning, you don't see where one ends and where the other begins.

    Hi! How many beads did you use? Struggling with deciding how much to buy! Thank you!!

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  Год назад

      Hi, if for example you crochet a necklace with a length of 60cm, the necklace will have 12 beads per row (as in this tutorial) and you use size 11/0 beads, you will need about 4 320 beads. The shops usually state how many pieces are in one gram, so you can simply work out how many grams you will need to buy. If you write down the length, diameter, and size and type of beads, I'll be happy to calculate it for your specific case.

      Hallo, ich habe Kordonet in diesem Video verwendet. Für Perlenhäkeln ist es gut, Größe 30 oder 50 zu verwenden. YarnArt Canarias in mercerisierter Baumwolle entspricht auch ungefähr 0,5 mm. Eventuell Denim-Garn.

    Hi! I still have a problem with crocheting the beads. For the circumference of 14, do I use the single beads crochet technique?

      Yes, I would definitely use single bead crochet.

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  3 года назад

      Of course :) Just remember that the circumference will be smaller - 6 beads instead of 12. And in that case, it is worth considering whether to use slip stitch.

    Can you please guide me for the length of necklace and bracelets

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  4 года назад

      Hello, there is a simple formula: circumference (number of beads in 1 row) X the length of the finished product (necklace, bracelet,...) = length of the bead string.
      So, if you wanna make 16 inch necklace, your bead string has to be 12 times longer, in this case 192 inches (12 times 16 inches is 192 inches). If the circumference of the bead rope is 10 beads in one row, the required length of the bead string is 10 times longer than the finished product we want and so on. There are always some beads left so you don’t have to string more beads.

      Hi, almost all stores that sell beads usually have these needles. For example, BeadSmith makes them. But you can also get some off-brand ones on Aliexpress. www.amazon.com/Beadsmith-Big-Eye-Needles-2-125/dp/B01M26SB77

      Generally it doesn't matter, you can crochet with almost every type of thread, but the best is to use cotton thread.

      Hi, I don't actually sell these products, I have a few on Etsy, but they are products that are created while making these tutorials. For the price of the bracelet it depends on the complexity, it varies a lot. However, you can find a lot of these on Etsy from other sellers, maybe you'll find something you like :)

    I use size 11 beads how many rows on the pattern do you go up for that size for a necklace

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  4 года назад

      If you use size 11 seed beads, there are 6 rows in 1 cm. So if you wanna make for example 50 cm long necklace, it's 300 rows.

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  4 года назад

      It's because you skipped some loops. When I crochet I count the beads in a row from time to time to check if I crochet correctly. If you look at the bead crochet rope closely you should identify the mistake easily.

    HI DANYSSKA, THIS IS A CRAZY QUESTION. I HAVE A BEAD CROCHET NECKLACE PATTERN, CAN CHACHE THIS SIMILAR PATTERN TO A BEAD TUBULAR PEYOTE. MMM WHAT YOU THINK

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  4 года назад +1

      Unfortunately, I think it would not work very well, because the pattern has a completely different structure. I found this article where they tested to transform bead crochet pattern using Bead Tool 4 to a peyote with a twist. Try to check it out :) www.beadinggem.com/2018/06/can-you-use-beaded-crochet-rope-pattern.html
      If I were you and love the pattern so much, I would redraw it to a blank peyote pattern. But it's quite time consuming.

    So did you string all the beads you would need for the whole necklace .. onto the thread before you start?

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska  2 года назад +1

      Hi, you can either string all the beads before you start crocheting, or you can string them one at a time. It depends on how big of a project you're doing, how many beads there are. If it's a large project with a lot of beads, stringing all the beads at once would be difficult and not easy to work with. I recommend you watch my video here, where I show how you can string beads in sections. ruclips.net/video/ijZyq71TS5o/видео.html
