    Dear friends! Since English is not my native language, I translate into English using Google Translate. Sometimes the translation is wrong. Instead of the word "Knit", I should have used the word "Crochet". I hope this doesn't affect your crafting process since you are following along with the video and since the title clearly says "Crochet"! Have a nice time!

    Fantastic and beautiful work. I have made over 20 Russian crocheted beaded bracelets but I love your pattern the most and your explanation, even with the word ‘knit’ instead of crochet didn’t deter from your excellent tutorial. Thank you and I will now try your pattern. To those who have not done this, i can make several bracelets a week just sitting with my husband in the evening watching TV and I am almost 80 with Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands but YOU CAN do it if you know how to crochet basic stitches. One hint for success is that I have an OTT light by my chair so being able to see each stitch is to me the most important tip. God Bless all.

    I just tried this! I did the easy version by using big beads. I found the hard part was threading the beads while the crochet was easy & satisfying.
    My favourite part was how, even 4 my first time, I could make a pattern & end up with a very unique snake! Ppl should try it; it’s easier than u would expect!

    I can see why these necklaces are over $100 on Etsy

    • @BeautyBeadsLand
      @BeautyBeadsLand  Год назад +17

      Hello. not quite so))) such beaded ropes on Etsy are sold from $25. The price depends on the diameter of the rope (the number of beads in a circle), it's length and on the experience of the needlewoman. Also, with Japanese beads, all products are a little more expensive. I sold this particular rope for 34-38 dollars, but due to lack of time, I don’t make it to order now. Yes, to make such a beaded necklace you need to spend quite a bit of time))).

      @@BeautyBeadsLandJesus. By what I see in the video (it takes no less than 5 minutes to make three rows, less than 1 cm) making a 42 cm long necklace must take no less than 4 hours of careful and continuous attention, plus the time to string so many beads, and counting to perfection otherwise the whole necklace would be messed up, even by one single bead out of place! (5 hours in total? More?)
      Add cost of materials etc. You are down pricing you work big time!
      You're considering your talent, work and experience about... what, 6$ an hour?!?
      I think 100 $ would be a better price, and one people are ready to pay for a work well done (if it's too cheap they'll also think it's not handmade).
      Good job anyway, and thank you for the great video! Hope you'll get what you're worth!

    This is a wonderful video. It tells us exactly how to crochet the necklace.
    Thanks for explaining the knit/crochet translation.
    I use DMC cotton #12 for my bracelets & a 1.50mm crochet hook. Is that the size hook you use? (Small just doesn't really tell us what size to use we need mm's because different manufacturers use different sizing & numbering) and are you going into the front or back loop or both when you do the stitching?
    Again wonderful video & your instructions are great 😊👍 Keep crocheting.
    Thanks, Patty 🧓

    • @BeautyBeadsLand
      @BeautyBeadsLand  11 месяцев назад

      Thank you very much! I use a thin crochet hook, the size is written on it 0.6 mm, and I use denim thread number 36. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you more accurately so that it’s clear. The main thing is that when crocheting between the beads, this thread is not very visible; when the thread is thick, it is too visible in the finished product itself. Regarding the loops, you can crochet both loops, or just the outer loop. I usually crochet the outer loop (that is, the one that is farthest from me, the one that looks outward))))) Thank you very much! Good luck to you and all the best!🌞🎄🎊

      ¡Muchas gracias! Quiero decir que las primeras filas siempre quedan torcidas, pero luego, al seguir tejiendo, se alinean. Intente tejer crochet y pedrería del mismo color, sin patrón. simplemente coloque cuentas en un hilo y haga 10 bucles de aire, conéctelos en un círculo. luego mueva 10 cuentas y ate cada cuenta en cada bucle. Introduzca 10 cuentas más. amarralos. no te apures. observe la tensión del hilo. varias filas deben hacerse muy lentamente. entonces la mano misma entenderá y recordará el movimiento y será más fácil

      Hello. Optional. I usually pick up 2-2.5 m of beads on thread, then crochet it. When the beads on the thread run out, I cut off my working thread, put beads on the thread again, follow the pattern so that the pattern matches and tie the thread back. Using a regular knot, then I pull this knot into the weave. Maybe someone immediately picks up a large meter of beads per thread, but then a huge amount of time is spent just moving the beads along the thread during the crocheting process.

      Thanks a lot! I have never weighed beads since I usually buy them in very large quantities). I think for 20 cm you will need about 15 g of white and about 7 g of gold beads. Regarding the length, yes, we collect about 2 m of beads on a thread, crochet according to the pattern, then when the beads end on the thread, we cut off the thread, insert about two meters of beads into the thread, tie a new thread with the collected beads to the working thread and crochet further

      Good day! in this type of beading, we do not make a lifting loop when moving to the next row. We just continue to crochet in the same way as we crochet the whole row. you always need to count the number of beads in a circle, as beginner bead weavers often "eat" beads during weaving and the whole pattern deteriorates. so, collect the beads according to the scheme.or as many beads as you have according to the scheme (if you are making a different scheme). crochet the first row. count 13 beads in the first row( If you do this scheme). Start crocheting the second row. on top of the first bead of the first row, crochet the first bead of the second row, crochet the entire second row, count the number of beads in a circle. if the number of beads in the circle has changed from the desired one, then look for the place where you made a mistake, unwind to this place and do this row again.
      this type of crochet is used in patterns from 10 beads in a circle. up to 10 beads in a circle, we crochet with slip stitch.

    • @BeautyBeadsLand
      @BeautyBeadsLand  Год назад

      Здравствуйте. По желанию. Я обычно набираю 2-2.5 м нити, затем отвязываю. Когда бусины на нити заканчиваются я отрезаю свою рабочую нить, опять набираю бусины на нить, слежу за рисунком, чтоб схема совпала и привязываю нить назад. Обычным узлом, затем этот узел втягиваю во внутрь плетения. Может кто-то набирает сразу большой метраж бусин на нить, но это потом огромное количество времени уходит только на продвигание бусин по нити в процессе вязания.
