I bead and crochet but never saw it done together! Beautiful work. Very clever idea. I will try this with a few designs. Can you (missed it?) tell me the size of your hook? Thank you 🙏🏼
Hello. Thanks a lot! I use a 0.6 mm hook. I started my journey in beading with crochet with beads ropes))). I have always loved crochet, and when I saw a crochet necklace with small beads, it was love at first sight))). Beaded necklaces, bags, lariats, thick, thin, I love))). As a tip, don’t take complex patterns to begin with, you can simply pick up one bead color per thread and learn how to crochet thin ropes (up to 10 beads in the circle crocheted with a slip stitch) and thicker ropes (from 10 beads in a circle with a single crochet).
Oh my!!! This is so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍...i would love to try it but i doubt if i can access such a tiny hook in this country of ours...thanks for sharing ❤️
Thank you))). My Spanish is at zero))). My two native languages are Romanian and Russian. At school I studied English and French and a little Ukrainian from my grandmother. Now I am continuing my English courses. If I were filming a video with me in the frame, I would have to do a voiceover, but I’m too shy, so the subtitles below are my salvation))).
This is a wonderful video. It tells us exactly how to crochet the necklace. Thanks for explaining the knit/crochet translation. I use DMC cotton #12 for my bracelets & a 1.50mm crochet hook. Is that the size hook you use? (Small just doesn't really tell us what size to use we need mm's because different manufacturers use different sizing & numbering) and are you going into the front or back loop or both when you do the stitching? Again wonderful video & your instructions are great 😊👍 Keep crocheting. Thanks, Patty 🧓
Thank you very much! I use a thin crochet hook, the size is written on it 0.6 mm, and I use denim thread number 36. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you more accurately so that it’s clear. The main thing is that when crocheting between the beads, this thread is not very visible; when the thread is thick, it is too visible in the finished product itself. Regarding the loops, you can crochet both loops, or just the outer loop. I usually crochet the outer loop (that is, the one that is farthest from me, the one that looks outward))))) Thank you very much! Good luck to you and all the best!🌞🎄🎊
Thank you for sharing this design with us. It is elegant and looks like something I would love too try.I have already ask how many grams ,say if you use 11o beads. I would love to try this out on a bracelet first. That way I know if I have the patience to make a necklace. Again thank you .😍😊 By the way do you know what size crochet needle you used. Well I went back to the beginning and saw all the materials need 😉 should have paid attention the first time.
¡Muchas gracias!
Is it possible to add beads as you go, or is there a way to calculate how many you need to complete this beautiful pattern? I love crocheting, especially surprise gifts for family/friends, & this looks like something I would want to make for someone!
Hello. Optional. I usually pick up 2-2.5 m of beads on thread, then crochet it. When the beads on the thread run out, I cut off my working thread, put beads on the thread again, follow the pattern so that the pattern matches and tie the thread back. Using a regular knot, then I pull this knot into the weave. Maybe someone immediately picks up a large meter of beads per thread, but then a huge amount of time is spent just moving the beads along the thread during the crocheting process.
@@tazdj6698 unfortunately I can't answer you. I always buy large packs of beads and don’t keep track of how many beads are spent on each individual product. I assume that about 30 grams of white and about 20 grams of gold beads can be used on a necklace.
😮😮😮 ❤❤❤ That's so freaking awesome !!! How many beads do I need for, let's say, 20 cm. ? Cause, I guess, it's not possible to add beads, after I've started crocheting.
Thanks a lot! I have never weighed beads since I usually buy them in very large quantities). I think for 20 cm you will need about 15 g of white and about 7 g of gold beads. Regarding the length, yes, we collect about 2 m of beads on a thread, crochet according to the pattern, then when the beads end on the thread, we cut off the thread, insert about two meters of beads into the thread, tie a new thread with the collected beads to the working thread and crochet further
Absolutely beautiful and your video is great too. Thank you for sharing this. Going to string my beads now and hope to start Crochetting later today. Though I get distracted with all the other projects I do have on the go already too. Thanks again for the great video.
Hello. I usually put about two meters of beads on a thread and then crochet them. when the beads run out, I cut the thread, pick up the beads again (I make sure that the pattern matches), then tie the thread with the beads to the working thread and continue crocheting
@@riverdasgard860 you are welcome! I hope you succeed! the main thing is not to rush, the first rows always turn out a little crooked, then the crochet is leveled and crocheted much faster, the hand gets used to it and crochets almost with your eyes closed))).
Thank you for this wonderful video! I am trying to see if you are crocheting into the outside loop only or both loops? I don't know if it will matter, but I want to do it like you did before I start trying to improvise lol.
Hello! I crochet only in the top loop, but many people crochet in both loops, it doesn’t really matter, but for me it’s more convenient only in the top one.
Ok thanks! I did a test section and I think I need different thread or beads. I have 11/0 beads and I can see the thread between them even once I have several rows. I'm hoping I can find a thinner thread to try, maybe that will hide the thread behind the beads. @@BeautyBeadsLand
@@monday9026 Toho beads number 11, Delica beads number 11 and Czech seed beads number 10 are almost the same size. the thread may be visible because of a thick hook that prevents you from tightening the thread enough, or yes, if the thread is thick, then of course it will be visible. but for example, I can’t crochet on very thin threads, I always tighten my crocheting too much and the beads creep one on top of the other. I hope you will fix it!
@@BeautyBeadsLand Thanks! I've got Toho 11 beads, but the thread I have is size 10, which was the thinnest crochet cord I could find. I'll look for thinner cord and let you know how it goes. ☺
@@monday9026 I was literally advised today that we can use silk thread number 36. I use cotton thread number 36. I hope that you find the best materials for you! When I started, there was little information and I was looking for my own materials, I spent quite a lot, but then I used all the materials for other handicrafts)))).
Fantastic tutorial 🙌♥️ but please can you explain a bit the connection of the rows and the way you count stitches 😅 tjat part escaped me a bit 👻 thank you ❤
Good day! in this type of beading, we do not make a lifting loop when moving to the next row. We just continue to crochet in the same way as we crochet the whole row. you always need to count the number of beads in a circle, as beginner bead weavers often "eat" beads during weaving and the whole pattern deteriorates. so, collect the beads according to the scheme.or as many beads as you have according to the scheme (if you are making a different scheme). crochet the first row. count 13 beads in the first row( If you do this scheme). Start crocheting the second row. on top of the first bead of the first row, crochet the first bead of the second row, crochet the entire second row, count the number of beads in a circle. if the number of beads in the circle has changed from the desired one, then look for the place where you made a mistake, unwind to this place and do this row again. this type of crochet is used in patterns from 10 beads in a circle. up to 10 beads in a circle, we crochet with slip stitch.
I hope everything works out for you. the main thing is patience, do not rush, the first few centimeters are the most difficult, then the hand itself knits with a crochet)))
You have amazing patience, it looks lovely! How much would you sell this necklace for? How long does it take you to finish a project like that? How do you avoid hand cramps?!
Good day! Thank you very much! in order by questions 1-at the moment I do not sell such crocheted necklaces, I only crochet them for gifts 2- it usually takes me two days to make such a necklace (I have three children, elderly parents, work, so I can only indulge in hobbies in my free time) 3- I take a medicine against my arthrosis.
@@BeautyBeadsLand wow, you give them as gifts! talented and kind! you are quite skilled to complete something like that in 2 days with a busy life. also, the video was very nice and clear, good quality and a good tutorial :)
thank you very much! when I sold such necklaces their cost was up to 38 dollars. The price depends on the quality of the beads and the thickness of the necklace. Of course, it takes quite a lot of time, but it’s like a type of meditation, I really like it))))
This necklace is very pretty. It is very tedious and meticulous work that goes into producing such a beautiful and one of a kind piece. It's very exquisite ❤❤❤❤ How many hours did it take to finish this piece?
Thanks a lot! in fact, the crocheting process itself is not long, it depends on the speed of the needlewoman, it takes longer and is more boring to put beads on a thread))). Being busy with other things, I crochet this beaded necklace for about two days
Thank you). try to make a bracelet first, when you master the technique, the crochet speed will increase, at first everything is done slowly, this is normal).
Hello. I pick up about 2m of beads per thread, then I crochet them, then if I need even longer I pick up more beads per thread and tie a new thread with beads to the old working thread. if you collect more beads per thread, (2.5, 3.4 m), then the thread will firstly get confused, and secondly, push such an amount of beads along the thread for a very long time when crocheting. pushing the beads will take longer than the crochet process itself
@@BeautyBeadsLand That is possible, too. At the same time in my opinion, cotton is less stable than pearl silk, and polyester is not sustainable and not natural, on the other hand it is both "vegan".
Thank you very much! I really appreciate your feedback! I always crochet this necklace about 40 cm, when we add the caps and clasp the total length is about 42 cm and you can always add an extension chain. But it’s better to find out the preferences personally from the person for whom you will crochet this necklace, some people prefer elongated necklaces, then you can knit 48-54 cm... it all depends on you)

Can you please tell me how many beads or how long need for this necklace?
Thank you very much! So detailed and only the most necessary. Everything is clear and simple. I am delighted!
Thank you very much for your kind opinion! I'm very glad that this video is understandable! All the best to you!

Wow. I don't have the patience to do that, but is so pretty.
Thank you! Many people like the process of crocheting such necklaces)))
@BeautyBeadsLand I love croche, but that is small and delicate
Magnifique ! Un très beau tuto bien détaillé ! 🙏 merci
I use a beading needle number 12. The main thing is that it freely threads your beads.😉❤️
This is beautiful and has many applications!
@@BeautyBeadsLand Oh, alright! Thank you so much for that information! How many beads total did you use for this project, if you remember?
@@tazdj6698 unfortunately I can't answer you. I always buy large packs of beads and don’t keep track of how many beads are spent on each individual product. I assume that about 30 grams of white and about 20 grams of gold beads can be used on a necklace.
😮😮😮
❤❤❤
That's so freaking awesome !!!

Thanks a lot! I hope everything goes smoothly and happily for you! It's actually easy, you just need to get used to it)
it looks like 3 rows make 1cm at 7:07
so 42cm x 3 rows = 129 rows!
the amount of patience! 🥰🤩
no, 4, 4.5 rows are included in one cm, depending on the crochet density)))

Thank you very much! Good luck with your beading!
Do you need to thread all the beads you'll need on the thread ahead of time? Or is there a way to add more in the middle of the project?
Hello. I usually put about two meters of beads on a thread and then crochet them. when the beads run out, I cut the thread, pick up the beads again (I make sure that the pattern matches), then tie the thread with the beads to the working thread and continue crocheting
@@BeautyBeadsLand thank you! That's very helpful. I want to try this myself ^_^
@@riverdasgard860 you are welcome! I hope you succeed! the main thing is not to rush, the first rows always turn out a little crooked, then the crochet is leveled and crocheted much faster, the hand gets used to it and crochets almost with your eyes closed))).
Thanks Beauty Beads Land I appreciate you my friend 👍🤗😆

Beautiful work!
Thank you very much!

You have amazing patience, it looks lovely! How much would you sell this necklace for? How long does it take you to finish a project like that? How do you avoid hand cramps?!
Good day! Thank you very much!
in order by questions
1-at the moment I do not sell such crocheted necklaces, I only crochet them for gifts
2- it usually takes me two days to make such a necklace (I have three children, elderly parents, work, so I can only indulge in hobbies in my free time)
3- I take a medicine against my arthrosis.

Being busy with other things, I crochet this beaded necklace for about two days
it's really beautiful! But oh my...this will take me 5 years to complete xaxa
Thank you). try to make a bracelet first, when you master the technique, the crochet speed will increase, at first everything is done slowly, this is normal).

¡Muchas gracias! Me gustan mucho estas cuerdas con cuentas :)
Gorgeous work
Thank you very much!
Thank you for this video! How many rows of beads did you use for the necklace in the video, and how long was the final necklace?
This is simply beautiful. You are genuinely very talented❤
Thank you very much 🤗💐

You can also use pearl silk 0,36 mm
thank you! I prefer to crochet on cotton threads, and use polyester threads for knitted bead necklaces
@@BeautyBeadsLand That is possible, too. At the same time in my opinion, cotton is less stable than pearl silk, and polyester is not sustainable and not natural, on the other hand it is both "vegan".
Que bello ❤que número de ganchillo usas 😊
Hola. ¡Gracias!
Wow super it's so nice

Hello. Thank you so much for the tutorial on this beautiful necklace. How many centimeters long should this necklace be?
Thank you very much! I really appreciate your feedback! I always crochet this necklace about 40 cm, when we add the caps and clasp the total length is about 42 cm and you can always add an extension chain. But it’s better to find out the preferences personally from the person for whom you will crochet this necklace, some people prefer elongated necklaces, then you can knit 48-54 cm... it all depends on you)
