This is one of the best videos I have seen it shows that your money is hard earned and carpet fitting is a job that most people don't realise how tough it is well done.
Hey Keith I have a full size power stretcher that stretches from wall to wall was interesting to know where did you get the mini stretcher that you put your knee on haven't seen one like that I know crane makes one but it's not like the one you use where you put your knee on it
Can’t work out how the carpet is stretched correctly with that method. Looks like it only stretches between the machine ? The grippers are well to far away compared how I was trained. We have them on ave 5-6mm away.
Hi Keith Awesome video! makes me want to do my own. Hey, so not much discussion online on this but would you reuse the nails /liner that is in good condition? House under 10 years, hardly any spills in the house.
Hell ya / if the tack strip is good leave it down / some of the older stuff is great compared to the nee and besides you are recycling and that’s a win win win 😀😀😀😀

Yeah im use to the power stretcher too. And according to inspector they will see if they powered stretched. But I like that it's easy on ur knees
Agreed
Keith why don't you stretch length then width
If a room is long I like to split it into 2 sections / left side for 2ft right side for 2 ft then stretch the length / it works for me!
Hi buddy, where did you get your hand pushing stretcher, I like it, I have bad knee, this one can save my knee. what do you call that? thanks

finally someone using a real bloody mary
Ideally that gripper needed replacing, the space from the skirting is far to big and the pins looked rusty.
Finished job looks good though
Thanks Adam
I've heard wall trimmers do wonders
The axminster in the hallway looked assume.
