I seriously hope the Asus ProArt line of components gains traction and causes other brands to follow suit. Their clean no-nonsense designs are the epitomy of "Less is more" and are a very welcome sight in a sea of Gamer designs with polygonal shrouds, excessive texts/patterns and RGB leds. All the while packing as much a punch as any other flagship gaming product would. I want to build a hybrid rig later this year for both Gaming and Creative pursuits and that exact combo of GPU,MB and CPU is what i am aiming for.
now THIS is exactly what i want out of a custom pc. quality and powerful components without looking like a teen gamer's fantasy of every component blinking with RGB!
Amazing Build. Such attention to details. And agreed, no RGB! Love the brown noctua rubber thingies. Bought the same case last week. Love it! The only thing I wasn't to comfortable with was with the audiocable running over the PSU. That seemed to tight.
Aw maaaaan...I just spent the last 4 evenings in a row making my Fractal North build and whilst I thought my cabling was relatively neat, this makes me want to start all over again....NOOOOOOOO! 😂😂😂😂 Nice work, I can now see why your systems are so well rated and reviewed.
Thanks for your videos, a real pleasure to watch ! It actualy inspired me a month ago and i've done almost the same build with a 13900K. Just a question, did you use 4 Dimm of "slow" DDR5 for the looking/pricing ? (Most motherboard prefer 2 Dimms in faster MT/s) FYI: I went same corsair V, 4 sticks of 16Go 6600/32 (stable OC @ 6400/30)
Never populate all 4 ram slots unless you absolutely need to and would advise a CPU support bracket. I love the case it’s beautiful and the MB/GPU are clean.
Holy heck, aside from a different brand of ram and storage, this is almost the exact build I've been looking at putting together. Would you happen to have any benchmarks for this, either gaming or productivity?
Probably the best looking computer you can build if you don't want RGB. I'm prepping to buy parts for a new PC build and this combo of parts is basically exactly what i want (minus the GPU, i do audio).
beautiful build but i just have one question, if you have a build with zero rgb, WHY did you choose the dark tempered glass version of the case? you cant see any of the components inside so go for the mesh side panel for more cooling.
We just preferred the look of the tempered glass for this build, you are correct that the mesh would have offered more cooling but we found temperatures and noise levels to be cool and quiet even with the glass panel. 😊
Question. Do you tune those Noctua industrial F12 fans so that they never go above a certain RPM to reduce noise? 2000 seems like a lot and those fans aren't quiet. If so, what do you set the max RPM at?
Building a PRO-Art based creative desktop is my dream one day. I also lean a bit towards AMD for the first time. However, AMD does not natively support hw decoding of 422 10bit HEVC which is a shame. My camera records into this codec and only Intel provides acceleration which is sad.
Nice build. I would had done is bit different though. The new Ryzen 9 cpu gets hot air cooled cpu cooler. Moves a lot of hot air inside the case dispite your decent size fans. Liquid Cooler works a little better to bring the temperature down allowing better clock speeds and benchmarks for gaming. This set up is perfect for 3d editing and very fast multitasking. And very good gaming experience, Although not the fastest FPS clock speed set up for gaming. Perfect GPU it's a monster very good graphics card.across 1440p. I don't multitask or use 3d editing on my PC I have it for mostly gaming. So I went with the ryzen 7 7800x 3D CPU set up with a 4090 and 64gb DDR5 ram, and Liquid cpu cooler to achieve the best fps clock speeds you can get and Graphics to support my 4k monitor
you got the 7950X to post with 4 sticks of DDR5-5600? did you have to reduce the DDR5 speed? i've previously read that with 4 sticks the supported speeds go down
Love this build but just wondered - other than the obvious aesthetic of the brown anti-vibration mounts, is there a reason you went with the NF-F12 for the case fans, rather than the NF-A12x25? As I understand it the former are better utilised for static pressure, and the latter for airflow? Again, beautiful build - I may have to do something similar for my next rig!
The NF-F12 still make sense to help pull air through the dust filter at the front of the case. Even for the rear I'd still have bought an F12, if one of the other fans went bad it could be swapped over. I have a Fractal Define 7 and the stock fans are louder than the NF-F12's I fitted.
Great question! We did look at all options from Noctua but settled on using the F12 as they have a more focused airflow. The A12x25 is still a spectacular fan however the F12s won us over this time but you cannot go wrong with any Noctua fans. 👌
I love this! I'm looking to build something similar, but does the side fan bracket fit under the NH-U12A? From what I could tell, it looks like it might not make it but wanted to ask.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the build! As for the side fan fitment on the mesh version of the Fractal North, the side fan bracket would not be able to fit with the Noctua NH-U12A due to CPU cooler height being limited to 145mm with the bracket installed and the height of the cooler is 158mm.
Would this motherboard and cpu combo work for 3d printing (as well as some other creative stuff)? Looking to get into it in the future and it would be my first pc build
The ASUS ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI and AMD Ryzen 9 7950X are a great combo for 3D rendering programs and other creative apps. Are you looking to build it yourself or an off the shelf solution?
How did you get that running stable ? Im being told i can only use 2 dimm slots so im using 2x48 to get 96g. Need the 128g for heavy virtual instruments
Why always corsair ? Are you buying them because of the beautiful design? How is their RAM better than the same Kingston ? And the power supply? Corsair does not produce its own power supplies, they simply use the existing component base of other manufacturers and produce them with their own design. The rest of the approach is the same. It's strange that the SSD was chosen from Samsung, I expected that everything from corsair would be here)))
We like to balance our component choice between multiple manufacturers to best fit the build. The featured components offer both beautiful aesthetics and stunning performance 🔥
So clean! 0 RGB!!!! PERFECT !
asus proart lineup and fractal north case is really a match made in heaven it goes so well together
“Gaming” rigs with unicorn puke RGB are like monster energy drinks - this is like a fine glass of scotch

@@3xssystemsis that case big enough for Gaming With a 4080 super, Noctua U12A as well, and a ryzen 7800X3D or should I Go With the North xl?
Beautiful build! But seriously, your cable management deserves it's own video... Perfection!

I am so jealous of your ProArt components. They look so aestheticly pleasing, but are hella expensive where i am at.
So clean ! You guys are the masters of cable management I swear. Nice work
As someone who just started working here cable management takes the longest but it does look great once finished
got almost the same build except i got a z790 proart motherboard and 4070ti proart + intel i9-13900 :D love the look with no RGB

very clean, you should link all the parts you used.
I also agree

Cleanest system ever.
Where did you connect those the 3 front and the 1 back fan?
Where did you connect the fans?
This is pretty much the build im hoping to build soon.
Very well done and shown!
I love the case and the whole setup, so how much??
Heck of a nice case build!
We couldn't agree more, the wood is a game changer! 👌
Stay tuned, you might see more wood coming up 👀
Really needs combs on the Pci-e cable.
Did you take out the little cardboard of screws from the case that comes with it?
How does it run after a few months? Any issues with the board or cpu? Cause I'm getting parts for the same build.

So many build with the same design since Matt Lee… would be great to see some innovation using those pro art/noctua finish
Outstanding work! Did you use custom sleeved cables?
We didn't on this occasion, we used Corsair's braided cable kit, but its hard to tell the difference! Good work @corsair 🤘
Did you find the u12a sufficient to cool the cpu under load ?
Where have you guys put the fan hub? I don’t see it in your build!
Beautiful build! What's the fan direction configuration for the top fans?
We didn't install any fans in the top of this build, however the airflow direction is intake at the front and exhausting at the rear 😊

For this build we had the system post just fine @5600Mhz but we are aware that it's not always the case when using all 4 DIMMs.
