    WOW!!!! Thank you so much for demonstrating these exercises!! I’ll incorporate them into my workout! I’m getting better but I still don’t quite have enough strength in my Quad!!!!! I’m trying tho!!!!! I agape love and appreciate YOU!!!

    I’m 51 and 8 months post left total knee replacement. In this video you recommend the use of a tens unit. We have one but where do I place the leads on the knee?

      I'm glad to hear you're considering using a TENS unit for your recovery. For a total knee replacement, you generally want to place the TENS unit electrodes around the area where you're experiencing pain. I usually recommend using 4 2" by 2" electrodes placed in a large square around the front of the knee and kneecap so upper middle and lateral, and lower middle and lateral

    Hello. I am a 41 year old man. I think I’m in pretty good shape overall but I am scheduled to undergo bilateral knee replacement surgery next week Aug 15. I used to be a paratrooper in the us army.
    I recently started incorporating sprinting into my exercise routine and I am loving it. Will I still be able to sprint after bilateral knee replacement? Thank you for your time.

      Returning to sprinting is both challenge and not often recommended because of the increased stress through the knees. That being said at some point you may be able to return to some form of light running at a lower volume / intensity. I wouldn’t recommend any running or jogging until at least 6 months if not longer. Start very light and progress slowly with guidance from a PT ideally, and understand there is still risk of joint breakdown and loosening over time with any high impact activity.

    I m 64 yrs old. My tkr is 5 mths. Sit long and when i gets up , its very pain. Its a kind of sharp pain. Is it normal?. 😮 Pls advise

      This may be normal pain and stiffness postoperatively, but also may indicate something else that needs to be addressed. I would err on the side of being safe and consult with your PT or doctor. May be nothing but they’d be best able to answer for you specifically.
