2016 Z06/Z07 ICE mode during autocross

This was a test session for the upcoming season.
The car was equipped with 18x11/18x13 Forgeine wheels with worn Toyo 888 tires (315/30-18 & 335/30-18)
The main culprit, best I can determine, is the brake change from stock carbon ceramics to Girodisc iron rotors with Raybestos ST43 pads. I think the ST43 initial torque is just too high for autocross, possibly coupled with relatively cold tires not really designed for Autocross.

Did you end up doing anything to prevent ice mode from happening again?

why do you change your brake setup ? did the new one performs better than the ceramics one ! nice video btw hope you upload video more often :)

Iron rotors and a more aggressive pad for open tracking. The stock pads, and CCBs in general, do not modulate as well as an iron replacement.
