You are a rockstar. So inspirational to even get rid of things you like and/or love. "It's cute but too high maintenance for me". My quirk gets your quirk. You're hilarious. Thanks for the video girl!
Hey, Your comments made me remember a time when I had trouble losing weight. I kept a cute skirt (but you could choose anything you love that is just too small) that WOULD not button or zip. I tried it on about once a week, or every few days. As the waistline came a little closer together that was really motivating to me...just a thought that might help you.
Like blankets? The purple sheets are just like some of the regular ones from Target, the grey comforter cover and pillow shams I bought online somewhere, (I cannot for the life of me remember where, but it's just a plain grey set), and the black and white Aztec pillows are from Ikea! I think they are still available, and super cheap!!

Good Job ! I'm in the process of wardrobe decluttering, and your video nicely motivates ! Also, are cute ^-^
Nice declutter video, I like that you are taking time to mention for each pieces why you keep it or not ! Some others video just go to fast and we don't really know what's happening :P But when you said that nobody wanted to see the underwear declutter, I think you are wrong on that ahah I understand it can be embarrassing, and that's probably why nobody film this part, but I'm pretty sure almost everybody's curious enough to want to see it :P You could do it in a separate video the next time in case of some people doesn't want to see that ;) And the fact that underwear doesn't get a new life and are most of the time thrown away to the trash make me even more curious to see which ones maked or didn't maked the cut ! Cause it's way easier to give clothes than to trash them ! Anyway I like your deccluter videos, so I'm subscribing hoping to see more to comes :) And that would be awsome if at the end of your video, you would show us the results. Like all the ones you keep, the ones you are donating and the one you are trashing ;) Is that red bikini at begining was trashed or donated ?
Except underwear, everything is either being sold on Poshmark or donated! And on the undies subject, I already threw them away, but if you're interested, I got rid of some that were too small (only a couple pairs there), but mostly lacy ones and thongs. I've sort of gathered them over the past few years, but never really wore them because they were uncomfortable lol. Just not my thing. VS has some awesome comfy ones that are still cute!
Geeky Chic It is amazing... that when I stopped balling them up and did my socks how Marie shows... I actually felt so much happier for my socks! Weird hu?... but it makes sense actually.
if i put all my clothes in one room, the door would not shut, and i would be unable to go through them. i think u just need to come to my house and do this for me. I start smothering when I look at all the clothes on my bed. Does anybody else just feel like throwing out all their clothes and buying new/used ones. like just start all over.??
I tooootally feel like that sometimes. I have been LOVING decluttering- my mother in law asked me to help her declutter her closet eventually too. She has the same problem as you lol!
Eileen Ford will not even look at a girl with fussy clothes and jewelry.a bare neckline without a necklace actually accentuates the face.....or wear a tiny bit on a tiny chain.....so girls....the really cute look is clean white tee skinnies Jean jacket flats......mix it up.
Lol I actually am very Irish. I don't call my dad "da" usually (although it might have slipped out haha) but he probably wishes we called him that. He is very into his Irish culture (we are actually going to Ireland this summer!!!), and probably would have chosen that for his dad name if he could do it over again.
Sarah Jewell in what way? I brought all my clothes into one area and held each item to decide if it brought me joy. I didn't show the length of me holding them because this video would have been like 7 hours long lol.
Geeky Chic the *only* question to ask in this step is "Does this item I hold in my hands bring me joy?," but in your approach, there's a lot of comparison of one item of clothing to another, discussion of the past significance or origin of the item and that type of thing. That complicates the process, which is supposed to be simple and centered on what brings joy. There are other aspects, such as passing your retired clothing to someone else in yout household or a family member, that she cautions against. I am not knocking your method, I'm only saying it is not her method.
Sarah Jewell oh okay. I kind of figured that those aspects were just extensions of what it means for something to bring me joy, like if an item held sentimental meaning to me, that brought me joy, and it brought me joy to not have clutter, so getting rid of duplicates was a good thing for me. But I guess we can just call it a modified Konmari method then :)
why do you girls buy so much????..do a small capsule wardrobe....think monochromatic....the best dressed wear simple styles....then use your accessories to make the look....also you are not defined by your makeup...check out the latest in Japanese style...love Monki
Hey girl....the words minimalism..capsule...and absolutely are becoming like American jargon......I don't even watch those vids...I have been deleting for years.my thoughts are on not consuming all the time. Fashion will always change...but a black cashmere sweater and white jeans go on forever....... LOVE your vids!
+Kelsey Sylvia very true. I do have a lot of pieces that are pretty timeless. And maybe that's why I've been drawn to basics more lately. A plain tshirt will always be in style!

"My quirk gets your quirk." I LOVE THAT. New favorite saying.

That's a good idea! I should probably do that... I'm determined to fit into some items again!
I love those Army green shirts. I can't wait for the rest of the series.
It's so hard to part with shirts like this, that are neutral and can be worn with anything... and cute!
I love how colourful your clothes are!
Such a great decluttering session!! :)
I really enjoyed this and look forward to the rest of the series!
Thanks! I can tell that this is going to be one of my favorite series on this channel!
This what we call minmizing and declutting nice
Just did mine (also filmed it) and I still have to watch these videos because they are so fun haha
I know! I'm almost done with my decluttering but I'm still watching some too!
Such a nice video! Thank you
You have about as much as I do! This is way off topic but your bed set is the cutest! Where did you get it? Did the pillows come with it?

Good luck!! It's fun, but also can be challenging.

Wow I thought I had a lot of tops etc... 😂😂 good for you clutter free cupboard now!! I so need to do this but it's so difficult to let go of things😱😰
Yeah I feel like I am a bit of a hoarder sometimes haha
My birthday is the day after yours!!
Almost birthday twins!!!
I need to do this so bad!
It is SO satisfying.

God bless you and andrew . It seems he s been well raised .
I agree! He's a great guy ❤️
I'm such a declutterer and organizer and my boyfriend is the total opposite! He won't get rid of anything. It's kind of frustrating lol.
YES! Tell me about it!
Socks are not suppose to be rolled into the other strecthing out the one sock. Not konmarie method.
I did end up doing my socks the correct way after filming this! When I was putting them away and organizing them, I did it correctly :)
Geeky Chic It is amazing... that when I stopped balling them up and did my socks how Marie shows... I actually felt so much happier for my socks! Weird hu?... but it makes sense actually.

It's probably too late but you shouldn't wash the bikini bag... I washed mine once and after that it was leaking 😕
I ended up tossing it lol
if you really like that shirt, keep it for a layer as a jacket.
Nice
aww nyc couple!
Same voice as Harper from wizards of Waverly place
Really?? I haven't heard that one before! I never really watched that show, but now I need to lol

I don't even know who Eileen Ford is haha
Are you Irish ? I thought I heard you call your dad "da" which is what we Irish ppl call our dads :)
Lol I actually am very Irish. I don't call my dad "da" usually (although it might have slipped out haha) but he probably wishes we called him that. Please a video with ur mother in law
As much as I would love to, I don't think she will ever want to ☹️
Okay so... not to be rude at all, but this is *not* the KonMari Method.

I am definitely trying to have a smaller wardrobe, but I don't know that I could ever do a capsule wardrobe. I love variation too much!
