    OMG these stupid ads... They pop in at the most inconvenient of times... This guy was about to drop some potentially world-changing info about box trucks, but RUclips thought it'd be appropriate for me to look at the latest cat litter ad available, right now, I don't even have a cat, but god dangit right now look at it, let's blow the screen up to as big as your device can handle, then make it even bigger yet., You'll need to click on 15 things to get out of it, 9 more to confirm.
    Long story short, I own a cat now... Good job RUclips.

    Great vid , I’m going the buying route. Can you make a video or give some tips on what to look for when purchasing a 26 ft box truck. Specifically any red flags to look for and what should the buyer be focused on before handing over 20k-50k on a used truck with no Warrantee. Keep growing btw I see potential in your channel.

    Company I work for now has a lease through peterrbuilt and they fix anything that is broken. It is a 7 year lease-

    I’ve been debating on getting a 14 ft box truck to do local deliveries. Do you think that it could be profitable?

      Alot of people asked me the same question all the time, " Do you think there's money in this or that business??"
      What many don't realize is this:
      Just like any other business it's all about the owner and how good they are at running businesses. How good they are at acquiring business for their business.
      Alot think oh all I have to do is by a truck, van, or whatever and I'll make money. When in reality they suck at marketing, they suck at selling their services, etc.
      You can make money in anything but it takes having or developing the right skill sets.

    Rentals for 26ft and 24 are basically on-existent. I’ve checked from the East Coast to the Midwest (North to South) and all companies are out of those trucks. If anyone has any leads, please share. I have commercial accounts with the companies as well.

      Yeah that's another thing about renting, is finding one available because it's the easiest way to get a truck that leads to less supply.

    do you pay for your own insurance when leasing a truck?

  • @MrAUFANATIC

    When I started, I rented for 5 weeks and used most of that as my down payment for buying one. I ran 3000 miles a week, a locked in rate at 553/wk, .18 cents a mile. Rental should be temporary.

    • @pressurewashingmastery
      @pressurewashingmastery  2 года назад

      100% but that rate is pretty good compared to rates others have been getting. But I agree if you're going to rent or even lease, you should save as much as you can to put down on a truck of your own.

      @@pressurewashingmastery I only profited 3,000-3,500 a week renting. And my over head is low. Can’t imagine what people going through with higher overheads.

      @Aron Martinus They say it’s a mile cap, but just lie to them. While you’re running your miles up stash some extra cash back for when you turn it in cause those miles will have to be paid for in the end. That’s if they don’t already track your miles.

    • @pressurewashingmastery
      @pressurewashingmastery  Год назад +2

      Yeah trucking profits are super low compared to other businesses. Don't believe all the bs you watch on RUclips. Way too much overhead compared to a serviced based business like lawn care or pressure washing. I'm doing a $1100 roof cleaning tomorrow, my expenses are $240 in chem and $68 dollars in ad spend.
      But you do what you wanna do because someone on RUclips said you can make a killing box trucking 😂😂
