The perception of time passing is relative to what you’re doing. If you enjoy riding an EUC, time flies in the blink of an eye, and by the time you reach your destination, you wish it had taken longer.
i think putting your gear on should be included in the timer lol. at least for me. l also have a V12 and It takes me like 5-10 minutes to get fully geared up. Putting on my backpack, shinpads, riding jacket, helmet, and all my accessories takes time. whereas in a car I can just get in. Then when I get to my destination I have to take it all off. I still prefer my wheel 100% of the time though Also, I started off on my wheel just like you. Just to commute and no crazy things. But next thing I know I'm doing jumps, hitting 40+ mph, and leading some group rides. Riding a wheel is addicting!
On the other hand, driving can take longer when you add time for parking. At my last job it was always quicker to ride because there was no parking near my work so it took 10-15 minutes to find a spot, then walk the rest of the way. For some people EUC won't work as a commute option, but when it does, driving feels very slow and frustrating.
That was my first wheel also! My neighbor finally got up the courage to ask me what the hell was going on in the backyard and why he kept hearing this strange voice saying "be careful". 😂😂😂😂😂
Awesome video, well edited, I actually watched the whole thing :) I think EUCs mostly beat cars by not needing parking at either end, if you ride responsibly. In dense traffic they do very well if bikelanes exist since you can zip up the side. You can filter, but that's sketchier from a legal and safety perspective. You could beat cars in dense traffic by filtering, aggressively switching from road to sidewalk/bikepath and back, etc, but that generally increases the risk of riding one. I kinda disapprove of using sidewalks with EUC since they are faster than is really appropriate for it... but some roads suck, some sidewalks are particularly empty, etc. I would avoid it if the sidewalk is busy with actual pedestrians. Any legal issues for you? I was riding in Melbourne, Australia, but got warned off by some cops and I've stopped using it for day to day things since 😭
Sorry to hear the cops put you off daily rides, Jordan. After commuting for a while I knew their favourite spots to patrol so it wasn't too hard to avoid them. I hope they relax in Melbourne now that the hire scooters are going, and you can get back out there.
Time to get a begode et max or the commander gt pro, either one is a monster commuter wheel that will have you passing cars in 40 mph streets. Also commuting in a wheel takes way way longer due to the fact that it is so much fun and you end up taking the longest way and continue on 'just one more ride' once you get to the destination 😅
GT Pro is a fucking fridge that happens to go 100 km/h, with shit suspension that will break after long amounts of use, and the ET Max, although a good wheel in terms of power delivery / design / suspension (I mean that shit can go 120 km/h, sheesh), it’s still heavy as FUCK, I would rather get myself smth like a KingSong S16 Pro (combined road/sidewalk) / Begode Falcon (mostly sidewalk) / Begode Blitz (mostly road)
Btw it is common practice to list all your gear in your video description, that way you don't have to answer the same gear questions over and over again. And you can even use affiliate links if you want to make some pocket change. Now I'm curious how your commute time will be once you've mastered your V12. Cheers, nice to see you being so safe with full gear from the getgo. Enjoy!
Don’t knock the guns. You can have plenty of guns and EUCs at the same time, believe me. If we didn’t have our guns, imagine what the government would take from us.
Just need to find a better route with less lights. Took me a while on my commute but cut in half a 14km commute by walking and train with my EUC. 45-50 minutes normally was just 22 on EUC.
One day I plan to commute to work from Whittier to San Pedro on my EUC. I just have to find a safe alternative to using the new Desmond bridge in Long Beach and the Vincente Thomas Bridge.
Bro… be charged up. That’s about a 60 mile round trip. I use to ride a bike by the LA river path. There’s an exit around W Anaheim that could get around that. I think.
@@brianlucero4 that's what I'm thinking. Anaheim to Harry Bridges Rd in Wilmington. My Sherman L should be able to do 80 miles on a single charge, but I'll still bring a charger to have good charge to avoid battery sag just incase I need to hit higher speeds.
you're not really selling the whole EUC commuting thing with this video lol "do you wanna get to work faster?" > don't get an EUC cause it's not gonna get you there faster what it WILL do is reduce the stress of being in heavy car traffic and make your commute much more enjoyable. Been commuting in LA with my V12hs for the past 2 years. Welcome to the wheel grind
Thanks mate!
Bro you made me laugh out loud when you said only an idiot would post that online😅
great realistic video - grass is good to learn on and about 3 weeks or so is about what it takes to build muscle memory - nice job
Oh. I definitely would’ve been in a hospital without the grass. 😅

My algorithm is good 👍🏼 Great video brotha
Awesome. Thanks for checking it out. 🎉
Yes! Another fun EUC learning video. Great job
Excellent video!!!🔥🔥 Welcome to Wheel Life.
This video was so incredibly entertaining of course I’ll subscrib🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks brotha! Glad you liked it!🫡
Wow, great production! Pace is excellent, footage is good and I love the humor. Great approach. You’re going to grow this channel fast. I can feel it.
Thanks bro. That means a lot to me. Thanks for watching it! 🙌

Sweet drone footage and video!
Thank ya! 👍

Hahah... that's hilarious just to have some soft spoken asian girl telling you to be careful.

Honestly. It’s kind of like the Wild West out here. Cops are too busy focusing on all the other crime out here. lol.

@@jimmux_v0 Would be ideal.. Not too keen on risking 1k+ fine though :/. Cops are pretty rarely seen all told, but the penalty is severe.
Ride alongside the cars. Why not? Most other EUC channels do it without issues.
haha true dat... I've started to do that... I've if stop posting, you'll know it didn't go so good for me. 😜
@@brianlucero4 Stay in the bike lanes to start if you must. I agree it’s safer
After about 3 month of everyday riding you could start to do this. But it is not safe to do as a beginner.

Solid video, but the v12 will NEVER get any more than like 45 or 50 miles tops. Loved my v12 though

Good point. First video with that kinda stuff. But now I know. Thanks for the advice! 👍 I’ll adjust. 😎
It takes me an hour to get from Carson to Venice Beach where I work in my car. It takes 45 minutes on my wheel.
Damn. You’re going through all the high traffic areas on that route… nice long EUC ride.
+ the 15min to put on gear lol breaks even.
Very entertaining video : ), well done!
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching it.
plus you don't have to worry about parking after you get there
Nice vid👍
Thank you, sir!
Don’t knock the guns. You can have plenty of guns and EUCs at the same time, believe me. If we didn’t have our guns, imagine what the government would take from us.
Guns are stupid. Typical paranoid American who thinks the government gonna take everything from you.

Probably a little slower than the car if you take all the gear into account. I still prefer EUC over cars and it helps the environment out as well!
Bro I love that helmet All those colors what kind is it?❤
I'm also curious what helmet. 👀
Dude. Got it on Amazon. They got tons of colors

What kind of camera do you use ?
Insta 360 x3. It’s amazing.
Just be u on the streets and not drive like an ahole and am sure u be fine.. maybe .. this is LA streets we talking about here 🤣🤣
