But if you get the additional projectiles to hit with those darts they can shred even golen and honestly aren't bad against moonlord. For a mimic drop they are so good simular to molten fury in prehardmode.
I just started a world with my friend and we decided to do a playthrough of a class we know nothing about, so as I chose ranger i wanted to say thank you for dumbing down the weapons and making it easy to follow. very much appreciated!!
Might want to check the weapons for yourself before taking anyone’s word for it because many were placed in very questionable spots like dart guns, musket, grenades and boomstick which are all fantastic weapons
How dare you slander the Xenopopper by calling it a middle of the road weapon. It is such a sleeper hit. In my recent shotguns-only playthrough I used it against the Moonlord and found it to be comparable to the Vortex Beater. It’s goated.
I would rank the Phoenix Blaster S tier and the musket higher than the undertaker, i used both when trying to fight off the amount of eaters of souls bothering me when trying to prepare for the eater of worlds fight and i found the musket to be much more reliable, i would also put the Stake launcher in S tier because this thing literally has no debuffs.
The pheonix blaster only didn't make it to S for me because, while I think its definitely the best gun in Pre-Hardmode. Isn't obtainable until post skeletron, and once you're in hardmode it can get replaced pretty quickly, but i would also agree with an S tier for it! The musket however I just really don't like, the slow fire rate gets me killed a lot more if i whiff a shot, and the Stake Launcher should be in S actually this is based

i don’t think calling the megashark annoying to obtain is fair when you put coin gun which needs 100s of platinum in A tier and both star cannons in S. also justice for dart rifle & tac shotgun
Bland as it is I love the hallowed repeater, it was my "lazy weapon" in a recent playthrough. Killed the twins with orichalcum repeater, made hallowed, then killed the other two mechs, plantera and golem with it all cuz I was lazy to farm for any other weapon 😂, then dropped the hatched from golem abd switched to melee lol.

The eventide has special light arrows if you use normal arrows, and not only the pierce, but the damage and fast speed it's insanity, S Tier for me, that damage is crazy. Also how the hell are grenades unusable? I use them when I farm Brain / Eater for money, the explosions are great and so easy to get. Also the ammo from the candy corn and stake launcher wood you can buy it from the Arms Dealer (for anyone who doesn't know it).
@@lilywalilithyt Yeah beenades are awesome, but the fact you can get grenades so easily at the start of a playthrough before killing any boss makes them at least B Tier for me (plus aside from Jester Arrows, this are the weapons that melt the Goblin Army the fastest at the start of the game).

I'm doing a challenge at this moment and i want to share it to you What a about a jungle themed items only? This apply to accessories and boss drops Here my rules: Every kind of drop of jungle enemies Loot and ores from the jungle are not allowed if this ores and loot are not jungle themed So cloud in a bottle and gold armor are not allowed Jungle items just apply for armor/weapon Crafting station and tool can used You are allowed to use "no themed" jungle material to craft jungle themed items for example Floral boots/Frog Boots You are allowed to use jungle boss drops
Man that is the HOTTEST take for the Minishark... if you are good at getting money, (Which is not hard to do) the Minishark SHREDS through most of pre-hardmode... You can get it before fighting ANY bosses and use it to practically coast up until you get the Pheonix Blaster or in fact the Star Cannon. All the automatic weapons are great for fighting through Hordes and heck can shred most bosses... these are some burnt takes they are so on fire they are basically charcoal. The only reason to use the pistols is if you want carpal tunnel or are using an autoclicker.
The game has an auto fire setting 😔 but I standby my mini shark take I despise the thing like yes it can perform well against some bosses but overall it could really only be considered super useful against skeletron for me 😎

In fact I believe both mini and megashark can carry most of the game bosses on its back as the only boss you need to kill for Megashark is Destroyer which is so blazingly easy, Look it may just be because I have been playing since the ye olde days and have a nostalgic connection, I won't deny it but a rapid automatic weapon can carry bosses, events and even just base farming of mods. tactical shotgun, sniper and MEGASHARK were heroes in all of my guns only playthrough and other playthroughs and venus magnum? like a 4/10 not worth compared to the other ones. the megashark is my favorite weapon easy to make (i dont know what you were on about) and can carry me through the mechs plantera and sometimes golem.
As a non journey mode player currently, the star cannon is like a c-ram for me, I cannot afford it, so I was ussing the minishark then switch to the phoenix blaster

It's one of my primary destroyer killer weapons, I used to make a huge sky highway and let afk rail to collect a lot of stars. Nowdays I think it's not really needed, dynamite and dungeon brick floor or a line of lots of boulder statues wired to timers do tge job just as well.
theres some logic here that just doesnt make much sense, like for clockwork rifle you say that 'it's not as good as some other things you can get straight out of hardmode, like the shotgun' and then put it above shotgun. tactical shotgun isnt anything special but just because it's boring doesnt mean it's f tier, its pretty on-par with post-plantera ranged weapons' dps. also coin gun is insanely rare and tedious and the grind really isnt worth it, yet you talked about megashark being annoying to get
So the clockwork/shotgun thing is just a bit of a flub on my part, what i was going for was that you could just get the shotgun and then onyx blaster right into hardmode and instead just said shotgun so thats on me. and listen the greatest evil a weapon can commit is being absolutely mid! Coin gun is based no matter what and i still stand on my shark weapon hate
Hard disagree with the spike balls They sit on platforms and are great for set up with mobs and with bosses that charge a lot like Queen Bee also good passive damage for Skeletron and EoW It's C tier at least
@crawdunk I usually just place a bunch around the arena before I start the fight, and they do a lot of extra damage right at the start. Never thought of them as a weapon it's just a regular part of boss preparation for me prehardmode. They are also really useful for events like the goblin army. If I am struggling with it a lot of the time I will throw a bunch to either side as I pick them up and they shred through the goblins
@@lilywalilithyt you arnt always shooting so in a time like before the fight or when a boss like eow is underground is when you use them also using them as a main weapon is still not bad at all and can work well against multy segment enemies or events

Minishark is actually pretty solid against skeletron I'll give it that, it's not my favorite but it can get it done, however the eow and brain are different stories for sure

Dart pistol and dart rifle are really good weapons in my opinion, crystal darts shred the mechs and they are really accesible

You do realize the way they fired in the clip you used was only because you were using i or darts right? Try crystal if you don’t like it

the sniper with shroomite armor is nuts, hitting 2000 damage a hit is beautiful, especially for PVP where you can just hide
Agree with it being strong for pvp but ingame use is very limited

the only reason the dart weapons are "random" for you, is because you're using the WORST DARTS IN THE GAME
