    Part 2 of your documentation of this move was just as cool as part 1, definitely enjoyed it. A few of these location I've never seen before, not that it's really saying very much because I'm never really ever down on the RBMN main line with the exception of Oak St and CP-DUPONT lol, but it was cool to see. Glen Onoko definitely seems a bit more grown in when viewed from the overlook since the last, well, since the only time I was ever up there. It's still always one hell of a shot though, definitely a highlight of one of the many great views available down there in the Gorge. And once again, the quality is simply surreal.

    A heat exchanger is a device that allows heat to be transferred from one liquid to another.

    Kind of sad. Got me curious, so I looked it up. This would have been one of the last moves like this. The production was moved to a plant in Florida in the last year or so. Seems that one of the reasons listed was the rail trip to the boat, verses in Florida where the boat is in the back yard. Another reason is that the demand for LNG equipment has gone down over the last year or so. Tell me about it...

    What would they have done if it didn't clear the signal?

    • @CentralPennRailProductions
      @CentralPennRailProductions  9 лет назад

      +s0nnyburnett I think when they put the signal in (it is new) they knew to keep clearance for these moves. There are also actuators on the car that can shift the load ever-so-slightly to give more clearance.

      I worked for Air Products. Our traffic department checked all the clearances on these moves before they happened...Oh, and one of them is riding along in that caboose!!

      I found out what horn it is it's a rare kind of K3LA RBMN has 4 locos with the same horn and no the horn isn't switched and put on different locos the locos are 3052, 3057, 5017, and 5049 I've chased 5017 and 5049 all though of June, July, August and still use them in pittston for the PILE trips but they all have the horn and we'll all these have these K3LA's and they do have different sounds but they still use K3LA horns on all 4 of those locos
