I think that what I was explaining may be misunderstood and/or a little out of context.
We openly share with potential clients that we may know the others they've reached out to and we also do not work together to agree on a higher or lower price prior to bids/estimates being made.
According to the FTC, each company is free to set its own prices, and it may charge the same price as its competitors as long as the decision was not based on any agreement or coordination with a competitor. Our prices aren't set or agreed upon with any of our competitors.
@@zephanmoses I can sometimes know who they got their previous quote from by the questions the client asks me.
My favorite is when I get turned down for the gig, but then I get hired as a freelancer on the exact same gig lol.

Hey Zephan @zephan , I started my streaming business a little over a year ago in NJand Im wondering on how to secure clients outside of birthdays and small events, and go into business and cooperate sphere as well. Im realkly stuck on how to grow into that next phase
So it’s definitely a little more complex than explaining in an answer here. But the key is you need to go to the places those types of people go and network at places those types of people network. Simply going to a free networking event is only going to surround you with others that want free so you’ll probably need to find groups that you have to pay for because you’ll find people willing to invest in themselves. In MD we have quite a few paid networking groups and that’s an ideal place to start. Figure out where the corporate VPs and managers spend their time and you’ll find your answer 😊
