I love the varipole but there are support poles used in construction. They are normally bright yellow or red instead of black but they do the same job at a fractionof the price. I have a couple I use for holding lights and cameras.
What’s amazing is that a channel with 2.1 million subscribers has a show come out and after 5 hours doesn’t hit 4 k views !?! Love the accessories! Will upgrade my live-streaming for sure!!
This video came just in time for the holidays haha! I’ve been wanting to upgrade my set up, I just didn’t know where to begin. I’ve noticed a lot of great RUclipsrs film their videos in a high quality atmosphere which makes it more enjoyable for me to watch. Appreciate this video!
I would love to watch the video on how to do all of these things from the smart phone. iPhone. MacBook Pro. Thank you for the awesome videos. You truly are a blessing in this space. Especially for a Technology toddler like myself.
Great video. A brilliant selection of tools. I absolutely love the Stream Deck XL. It is by far the most powerful productivity tool I have. It is designed for streaming but it has so many other uses. I have programmed so many editing shortcuts on Final Cut Pro. I just rocket through things. And set up another profile for Photoshop. A must buy for anyone trying to save time. (Teamed up with a Logi tech MX3 mouse, it is incredibly how much time I have saved with editing.) And the Caldigit is brilliant too.
Recently added the Elgato Wave low rise arm and Elgato Wave 3 Mic. Could not be happier with the performance and looks. May need to investigate the Elgato XLR Mic and see the key differences with the two Mic.
Great video! I want to know which accessory you are using in the beginning. At 0:07 there is a black microfon magic arm with red screws. I want it :D Maybe you can tell what that is? Thanks.
Have you had success connecting audio and visual equipment to the CalDigit ? I am looking for a hub solution as my laptop does not have enough ports to connect camera, audio interface, wireless mouse, external drive, stream deck, etc. I have tried a few powered USB hubs and they have all had their separate issues with using all the devices at once. Ultimately I need a new computer, but looking for a NOW solution.
Hey Thin Media Team, did you experience any issues (lagging, freezing, high delay) with cameras connected to Apple MacBooks with M1 processors? I have such issues with an Elgato capture card and also found this issue in various support forums, but without a solution. How does it work in your setups? Do you only use older Intel Macbooks? Thanks in advance!
1:57 - it's better not to give audio advice than to give flawed audio advice to newbies. "...XLR mics give you a much rich and fuller sound and much more reliable than a USB mic." This generalization is patently false. A mic's sound and reliability has nothing to do with whether a mic's audio is output via analog XLR bus or digital USB bus. For example, the Rode Nt1 5th gen's USB output blows away most XLR mics below its price point.
Thanks for the video, I wish I could hire someone that's nearby to set it all up...Sadly, the tech is still so primitive, slow, and cumbersome with all the stupid wires and boxes... I was a radio tech in the USAF in the early 80's, right when we were switching over to digital. So: I've seen the development of it all...I expected us to be operating at the speed of thought, by now...We should have D-wave laptops by now...:)
if you're doing a sponsored vid, you have to say it AT THE START, not some bait n switch half way through. plus, its weird to have some products sponsored but not others. would you REALLY pick the sponsors products to pair with the rest? it makes the whole vid sus
I'm sure these are absolutely great tools to work with, but "for every budget"? Isn't it all quickly racking up to $1k or more?..... But thanks for the tips for the (probably) distant future. 🙂
Which accessory do you think is most helpful? Let us know!

I found my varipoles to be the most useful accessories in my studio setup.
Even though I don't have money to buy a smartphone, I still love your videos

Sorry not trying to sell anything, just sharing a link to amazon.
the ElGato boom arm is genius! discreet and low key. That was our favorite gear!

people are busy eating is my guess, once they wake up the numbers will go up lol

GREAT A’s HAT!!
What monitor is behind the Macbook at 1:21? 🤔
I just have my iPhone for now since I’m just getting started but I just invested in a tripod so my videos won’t be so shaky
Why does XLR-connected mics give a richer sound?
Great video! Question: What's the under-the-desk Macbook mount at 4:44?
Sweet setup!
Awesome video! These are great suggestions. Around 1:18, I would like to know where to find the desktop wallpaper?
Awesome video, excellent ideas
Thank you !
What speakers are these?

Hey again! Love your take on an internal vs external capture card? I've been using avermedia external live gamer ultra without any issues... Thanks!

Whats the squared monitor featured in the beginning of the video?
Yeah, I think I’ll pick up that groove light. There’s probably a black Friday sell on it as well.
was thinking of the same thing with the light
Hi, I am working on buying what I need to set up a mini studio. Any tips would be great? I met you several years ago at a local event here in Vegas.
What is the light that looks like the sun going in a window in the background?

Really interested in Govee lights now. Thinking of how to integrate that with my home setup
Is a shock mount and Pop filter really worth it? its like 50 something € for me. Is it a good investment?
Does anyone know why my Sony ZV-e10 shows standby when I’m trying to record with it on Ecamm Live?
not sure, but I'm sure if you're on reddit, they'll be able to answer it for you
Omar what is that big monitor on your desk it looks square
Hey.....I'm enjoying the channel....But can you explain how a camera is better than a webcam?......Where's the advantage
Hi. One of the first three items is missing. I believe the “cord” is missing. I found the card and adapter only. Please help
1:25 what monitor is that?

How can I set up more 🎤 I need 4 for live streaming
Are you sure any Camera?
Hey you you want a budget camlink Walmart has them for $20 from vivitar
Interesting they use govee considering it’s not compatible with apple HomeKit.
Great Video 👍 but I think your understanding of "(not)/ expensive" is very different from mine 😂😂
What's your desktop length and depth?
So Godox ES45 or Elgato Keylight? $139 vs $181 on Amazon.

Pla do a iPad one because I want to do gaming and only have 1 typos iPad and phone (kind friend
