long story short for why C.J. Graham probably wasn't credited at the top of the IMDB page; Jason was initially played by stuntman Dan Bradley during the first day of filming when the daytime scenes were filmed, but Frank Mancuso Jr didn't like how Dan looked on camera, so special effects artist Martin Becker recommended C.J. Graham as a replacement after seeing him on stage as Jason in a show at the restaurant the latter managed at the time.
Great review.I love this movie .Its my favorite Friday movie.Its the first one I saw in the theatre.Also it introduced me to Alice Cooper.There are 3 or 4 different Alice songs played throughout the movie. Jennifer Cooke as Megan was awesome.I really wish she would do a con appearance because I would love to meet her. One of my favorite lines( SO WHAT WHERE YOU GOING TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP.) 😂😂
Awesome review, Micheal! I believe that this may be THE go-to Friday the 13th movie for the Jason we know today, which is as a huge zombie with the hockey mask. Final Chapter could be the go-to Jason movie where he isn’t a zombie yet, or maybe even Part 3! I do like this movie as well! Btw, are you going to review the two new posters of the new Goosebumps show that are out right now?
Agreed, man! Also: probably not, because I’m still convinced they are fakes lol. I haven’t had it confirmed yet on whether they’re real or not, and I’m kind of hoping they’re not.
@@horrorlandhorror16 I think they look bad, and I really don’t like what Slappy looks like. If it turns out to be real, and happens to be well made, I’ll probably have it grow on me, over time, but I am NOT a fan of what I’m seeing, at the moment hahah.
I think the relentless pace to it is why most fans consider it to be their die-hard favorite, but I still struggle with whether I think this or part 5 or my favorite, depending on the day lol. I think this is such a special movie. Sorry to hear you weren’t crazy about it, dude.
One of the first Fridays i saw. I think that helped me to be more open to the weirder entries in the series. I appreciated the humor in this one, i liked the characters, though not as much as 5. (I aldo sense some negativity towards TLJ, i approve, lol)
I pretty much agree with everything you said. Some characters I personally didn't like, the deputy, I just dislike him. His acting was good, but not a fan. The other characters that were wasted just the like bikers in Part 3, the couple having a night picnic. They should have not been in the movie at all.
Agreed, to an extent hahah. The movie spends a lot of time with the cops, surprisingly, which I don’t hate. It’s interesting to see more cop stuff in one of these movies, for once hahah.

Hey Michael this one is a real mixed bag for me. I enjoy a lot of the Jason stuff but I really hate all the humor. If people love the humor that’s great but I’m just not a fan of humor in horror movies. Sometimes I can look past it but there’s just too many cringe moments in this movie. When Jason is on a rampage the LAST thing I want to see is a cut to two kids under a bed saying “ What did you want to be when you grow up?” God help me! Just a personal preference. Not the tone I enjoy. I would give it a Like it don’t love it rating
I think my similar thoughts about humor in horror is why it took me so long to come around to loving this one so much hahah. I think it has a very particular style that I love and feel like the humor fits it just fine, for my taste. I understand what you’re saying 100%, because I hate movies like Evil Dead 2 lol.
Will be honest….. when it comes to The Friday franchise…., I PREFER the Latin America Spanish Dub….. the action is so much better….. though they repeat and shuffle the same voice actors on each flick….

I remember this one being just average. Starts strong and has a good climax but sags in the middle. Not as good as I hoped but it's not bad.

I REALLY tore into TLJ today, in my review for Part 9 😂 I hate that movie so much, and Rian Johnson is a loser hahah

Part:VII is the friday the 3th movie I in joyed the best.
Part 7 is so underrated!
