    Amazing! Y'all clearly put a lot of thought into your decks and I am beyond impressed/hyped to try this and the Gyome list. And THANK you so much for explaining all the combos down to the specifics of which actions to take. This is my new favorite EDH channel!

      Our pleasure! we always like to read comments like this ^^ we will make more in the future and we are still deciding if we are also going to put some draft videos as we also enjoy limited.
      the next is already on the works but because its just the two of us it may take a couple days to finish everything

    Built this list and made a few changes, I’ve found that clone spells that make copies of your commander are very strong and get a ton of 1/1 counters on the snail fast, the best clone I’ve found is auton soldier, phyrexian alter and warren soul trader are good to have to make colored mana to activate wick when needed

    Great build! For suggestions, Rite of Replication kicked on Wick makes an instant +30 on your snail that can take the table by surprise. Also Shared Animosity could make go-wide creature damage a viable win con as well. And if you wanna get really spicy Altar of Dementia for infinite mill loops with conspiracy or Arcane Adaptation

    • @m1gr3nA
      @m1gr3nA 3 месяца назад

      good point on rites. works with wick basically the same as with vela. and adding vela alongside rites seems reasonable anyway. she gives evasion and additional dmg in this go-wide deck. and having the option to do similar rites combo without commander is nice.
      altar breaks wick loops but does little outside of that (you don't want to fill opponents gy half way). goblin bombardment would be better. it allows to throw rats at stuff outside of breaking loops.

    Great deck tech. I've been looking at building a rat tribal but so many of the rats just aren't very good. I think I'm going to make mine more ETB-focused with blink effects and pingers. Cheers!

      We also thought about it as in red you also have chandras ignition and everything, we ended up not adding it but is 100% a valid strategy, this way you only need your snail to go up to 10 and you "win"

      We wanted to add it but its super expensive now and we didn't want to boost the price too much for people to be able to enjoy it.
      Would the deck be better with it? 1000% yes for sure. We only have one copy at home, its a very hard card to find and its now on Nuno's Elenda.

    11:15 I'm sort of new to the game and I'm in the process of building this deck, but here is something I don't quite get. Why is it dangerous for me to start the rat creation loop with Conspiracy and Wick?
    As war as I understand it will create snails (which are rats) infinitely and this can only be stopped if someone can destroy Wick in that turn, right? Why would this be dangerous to me?

    • @EdhSpellcasters
      @EdhSpellcasters  2 месяца назад +1

      Because if you loop Snail/Rats with Wick and Conspiracy and you don't have a way to ping your opponents or kill wick the game will end, on a draw 💀 and no one wins

    I'm not sure Conspiracy combos with Wick the way you are thinking, it says creatures you control and cards in your graveyard, hand and library, it doesn't specify creatures entering the battlefield under your control, tokens you create or something similar, so Wick's snail token shouldn't be a rat when entering the battlefield right? It should only become a rat once it's in the field after the point in which it would trigger Wick to make another snail, I think. Could be completely wrong thought, will try to consult with a judge on that.

    • @EdhSpellcasters
      @EdhSpellcasters  3 месяца назад

      It works Conspiracy is the only card that replaces the creature types as creatures you control are the chosen type it works, we did check it with a judge that quoted a rule I was trying to find and put it here but I cannot remember it from the top of my head now :C In EDHrec they also have it list
      edhrec.com/combos/ubr/4875-5853

    • @EdhSpellcasters
      @EdhSpellcasters  3 месяца назад

      found this on gatherer as well gatherer.wizards.com/pages/card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=108914 "Replacement effects that modify creatures of a certain type as they enter the battlefield will apply (or not apply) after you apply this effect. For example, if Warrior is the chosen creature type and you control Bramblewood Paragon, a Runeclaw Bear would enter the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter."
