This season Spinnerella and Netossa really get their time to shine, especially in this episode. The extent of their power is finally showcased with Spinnerella giving everyone a run for their money and Netossa playing a huge role in defending everyone. They also got a lot of character development and moments that show just how much they truly love each other.
Catra's comments throughout the last and this episode (like saying she is thinking of buying a property in a town that hates princesses and the retort at Adora's comment about finding it difficult to fight her friends) show that while Catra is trying to change, she still very much remembers and is affected by her past. While Adora and most of her friends are somewhere between 18-20 (I believe the show takes place over three years and they were 18 in the beginning, maybe 17) Entrapta is believed to be either in her late 20s or early 30s, it’s also confirmed that she was written to have autism. I love how the Luvd crystal slowly reminds Hordak of the moments he had with Entrapta, I love how a simple object can do so much because there is a feeling behind a friendship and how they care about each other
it's really interesting how one moment - entrapta explaiing to hordak that imperfections are beautiful, and giving him the suit with the crystal - led to so much. hordak was heartbroken in season 4 and destroyed etheria using this very same suit, catra used it against him to control him, it was a source of pain. then in season 5 it becomes a source of healing instead - the crystal guides him back to her. all the while entrapta is somewhat unaware of how much she means to hordak, she just wants to reunite with him and isn't sure if he likes her anymore. makes their scenes in the last few eps very cathartic.
