Seeing the P7s get their meals before they go back to school made me miss Ugandan food (vegetarian carb fiend here ✋️😊). The car will hopefully make everything much easier. Its lovely to see the CEDA children and your own are so well cared for. ❤

He did such a good job! I was busy sorting the school fees and buying some last requirements so just gave him the camera and said 'film'. Rest was all him!

And how are the roads and traffic as compared to the UK?,and this car had made you more independent thats a very good start and seeing emily driving around in uganda seems so cool,and daddy josh doing some other daily errands as well....a well organised family,and the kids surely ant hide the joy that the car had brought to the entire family they surely know that more adventurer's are in store.....
Driving is a lot harder here! No rules really. Lots of potholes and generally really bad roads. Big trucks, motorcycles... at night not everyone has headlights. It's not easy - but it's an experience!

Just cheap pillows and a cheap mattress sadly so do wake up in pain most mornings, but it's not forever!

They were snacks for the children - or here they call them 'eats'. They were donated by someone online which we are so grateful for! There were ground nuts, daddies and bagiya!

He doesn't love when I drive because I complain about all the other drivers on the road! No rules like in UK though, you truly have to concentrate so so hard with all the boda-bodas, matatus, people running across the road and cars overtaking on the opposite side of the road (ie coming straight towards us!) with only seconds to spare. It's hard work!! 😂😂😂

Hi! are people surprised when they see you in Uganda? do people stare at you or are you more used it now? Try and have photos with you etc? Do you feel same being around by yourself - hope okay to ask just genuinely curious!
Really depends where in Uganda. In Kampala, not at all. In Jinja, also no - plenty of 'mzungus' around! In the village... yes! Crowds of children form. Often children will just come up to me to stroke my skin. Some of them will never have seen a white person before. Sometimes babies cry when they see me too 😂
You guys need to start some sort of business! You could tap into the growing Ugandan tourism industry! I do not think donations are going to be sustainable!!
Sadly neither is a business really, as we don't plan to stay here long-term it's extremely difficult to run a business from abroad. Which is also why we closed the school etc - just cannot be managed effectively from thousands of miles away. We hope to continue working hard to grow our online presence - there are many people who want to help support children with their education and where we differ to large charities is that we can show them EXACTLY where their money is going ❤️
RUclips is overwhelmed, everyone is doing 3 films to live without working….
I wouldn't say it's not working. Content creation is some of the hardest, most time consuming work I have ever done. You don't finish work at the end of the day and go home. Sometimes I'm doing it until 1am, 2am. I also am an online tutor on top of this.
@@TheLarters too many are jumping on the RUclips train, were they usually post one update a week, now they post 3 times a week, because competition is big and I can’t keep up anymore unless I would watch 24/7…
